Being a customer of The Auto Clinic is the best experience I’ve ever had when it comes to auto repairs. I wish I had known about them years ago. My family will never let any mechanics but theirs work on our vehicles. They are prompt, efficient, honest, friendly, and about half the cost of any other place. A special thank you to Karen at the front desk for always being so friendly and knowledgeable. The Auto Clinic is amazing!

Staff was very welcoming and helpful! They explained everything clearly and were transparent with their pricing! Couldn't recommend them more!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!! Took my truck there because it was running rough charged me 1500 for a "tune up" the day I picked it up it was still flashing the same codes and the tire sensor they supposedly replaced was still broke. Took it back a second time and they charged over 3,000 for timing chain. Get the truck back and a few months later the engine blows up, have it towed into them with another towing company( because they didnt answer the phone), then they give all these other reasons why the engine blew up, but will not try and make it right with the 4500 already spent there. They said the work they done was exploratory to check their previous labor and there would be no charge, but when i go to move the truck out the try and charge another 275 for labor. All these guys do is try and suck money out of people. Total crooks!!

I would just like to say thank you so much to Greg by dropping my car off at my place. It was such a a big help since I've had recent major surgery. Greg did a wonderful job in replacing 2 front wheel bearings and also a front end alignment. He's done much work on my car in the recent past just to keep it safe for driving. Thanks again, it's much appreciated 😌

We were in town traveling and pumped gas mixed with diesel from a local station. We started misfiring on the highway home. We called the Auto Clinic and they said they could fit us in. Well... not only did they fit is in but they scanned the car, determined the issue, came up with a game plan, and solved the problem to get is back on the road. Their team even worked through lunch!! We had a two hour drive left and a flight to catch. The office staff gave me a ride to town to get lunch while their mechanic worked tirelessly on his solution. They offered very competitive pricing and worked non stop to deliver my vehicle in a shorter time then planned. They are also helping us to support what happened by documenting what they saw. That is way above what I would have expected.

Greg and his team are great! They have been helping our family for almost 10yrs! I cannot say enough great things about this shop! They go out of their way to make sure you know every step of the way what is happening with your vehicle & make sure you approve before any work is performed. Greg has towed our daughters car...countless times and really cared about her safety! Great place to go, would definitely recommend for any vehicle service...we have had them all!

Good and knowledgeable mechanics just let them help you get your car right

My breaks were grinding and they got me in last minute and stayed a little later than store hours to finish servicing my vehicle. They were extremely nice and I will be returning to them for future services.

We moved back to Illinois in 2023 and have taken our high mileage F150 to The Auto Clinic for all of our repairs and work. They always take the time to diagnose issues and make sure they are as thorough as possible. They give honest opinions on work and do not try to oversell items, which I really appreciate! We enjoy all of the staff and they always do excellent work!

-Identified and fixed the problem, first try. -Extremely fast scheduling and very polite customer service! -Quoted me $100 less than the dealership. -Cool fish tank while you wait:)

This is my 3rd or 4th time at this wonder place that I trust! This family at Auto Clinic is like a well-oiled machine. They work well together and get the job done and get it done reasonably. I highly suggest Auto Clinic Repair and Towing for all your vehicle needs including towing! You guys are great, I found my new home for my vehicle that I love. Went there for an oil change and they had a great lobby that was kept up really nicely and smelled good. They kept me updated on progress and help me with a few extra things I needed done to my car super nice people and really good at explaining things.

my guys garage quoted us almost $750 to fix my oil leak which you had to take off a bunch of things to drop my oil pan and we decided to get a second opinion, so we went to the auto care clinic, they quoted us $650 and only it took them around 24 hours to get my truck fixed and back to us. also provided up to date phone calls about the process and i was sent a link when they were finished with my truck with all of the photos of everything they took off and all the parts they used and what they fixed.

These guys are the best! So friendly, honest and down to earth. We stopped by there in an emergency situation driving on our way home from Wisconsin to Missouri with engine trouble. When no other shop would get us in for same day service, the guys at The Auto Clinic stepped up and got us in. They even offered to take my family and I into town while they were fixing our van. We were in the area celebrating our first wedding anniversary. The trip was supposed to be a quick weekend getaway that extended 3 extra days because our car wouldn’t start and auto repair shops were closed weekends. We contacted a bunch of towing / repair places and encountered a surprisingly large amount of rudeness or unhelpfulness. Auto Clinic responded to us first thing Monday morning to get us in. Our car was left at a different location than our hotel and to save us Uber trips of following around the car, they also offered to come pick up the keys from us so they could tow it. We were anxious to get home so we called often asking for updates and they were always patient, kind, and communicative with us. They fixed the car as quickly as they possibly could and it’s running better than before. Thank you for being willing to help these out of towners and for your kindness throughout!

My father and I have both been taking our cars here for a few years now. The people that work here are very honest and helpful. They will explain things in a way that make it easy to understand and they are very thourough with their work. Even if you just get an oil change, they check everything to make sure that your car is okay. I would definetly recommend this place to anyone looking for trustworthy, reliable mechanics. Karen at the front desk is very nice and helpful while the owner, Greg, will take the time to talk with his customers and get to know them. I would rate more than five stars if I could.

I was very impressed with the quick and friendly service. The knowledge of the mechanics and details they delve into was extraordinary. And I was only there for an oil change. They double checked every step. They're cheaper than what I was used to paying at the dealership too. I'll be back

This is the only shop I’ll trust with my car after this! I brought them my car for a clutch job which I told them I was tight on funds and they completely accommodated all my needs and worked with me on my schedule to get the car in. I don’t trust mechanics because I know that they know I don’t understand what I’m looking at with my car and I was skeptical bringing my car anywhere as I had a past bad experience where they lied to me on basically everything they did but I am very happy I brought it here! They brought me back into the shop and showed me my old clutch and some of the parts they put on and then my old parts they took off and where I could see that it was going and how bad of shape it was. The other thing I loved is they didn’t make me feel like an idiot about it. They explained it to me and said everything in simple terms. Karen at the front desk was amazing as well, she didn’t try and lie to me when I asked if the picture of my old clutch was bad. She instead said that she wasn’t very sure but when I come get the car the mechanics will go over it with me and they did. I’ve never met a more honest and amazingly priced shop than this one and this will be the only shop I ever bring my car back to and the only shop I ever recommend to all my friends!

I needed a radiator replaced. The Auto Clinic was there to help! They explained everything for me before and after working on my car. They also provided shuttle service. Always nice to know where I can get good help, fast.

I highly recommend The Auto Clinic to anyone. It's a family owned business. My husband normally works on our vehicles. Codes were showing up on my daughter's car that he preferred a skilled mechanic to work on. Called around and everybody else was a week out just to diagnose the car. Karen at The Auto Clinic said to bring it in and they would look at it right now. Madison went out and ran the diagnostic check on it. He was extremely knowledgeable and understanding. The owner, Greg, introduced himself. We also met Vern, the tech. All amazing people! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be taking vehicles back for any future automotive needs!

We were temporarily staying at Heritage Harbor awaiting our new home to be ready. I had two situations that my car needed an emergency tow, lock out help, and a good tune up to drive across the country with toddlers. The staff is so courteous, honest, professional, timely, and communicative. I highly recommend the Auto Clinic and Dave was a pleasure to work with!

The best people. If they don't fix it properly or can't fix themselves they always do their best to figure it all out. They have taken me through things so I understood what was wrong and are great help over the phone. Only ever the best experience with them and have no ego unlike almost all other shops. I could never imagine getting thing fixed to such quality and under such great customer service anywhere else.

I have not been in Ottawa long so finding someone you trust is difficult especially when you don't know anyone in the area that can refer you to someone reliable. I had a bad experience with another mechanic in Ottawa and called around for pricing on what actually needed to be fixed. This company was not only the least expensive but also the most courteous. Both gentlemen that I spoke with were very helpful and fixed exactly what I wanted fixed without trying to sell me more. They definitely have my business if ever needed in the future. I will absolutely recommend them to my friends and family.

Brought my vehicle in for what originally was thought to be a fairly simple repair. It turned out to be much longer and more difficult than expected. The auto clinic kept me updated the whole time and insisted on the vehicle running perfect and being right before returning it. Awesome guys and awesome shop. This was the first time using them, but they are my new preferred repair shop for everything auto related.

I took my car into the Auto Clinic several years ago for the first time. I was very impressed with their knowledge and skill sets. I have since made them my first and only choice for service work ranging from an oil change all the way up to an engine change. They listen. A rare quality in any service based business.

Professional service with great prices. I needed new tires and heat shields replaced. Was able to run in so they could see exactly what I needed. Turn around was quick from ordering to getting an appointment to get everything fixed. Will definitely be back for future services!
