Joe gave a $300 estimate to tow from Waukegan to Highland Park (15 miles). Car is mobile and can/could be driven on too tow trucker. Quote significantly higher than others. Would not recommend.

They were so professional and nice as soon as I called they were able to answer all my questions and get someone to help me. They had said 15-20mins but the person arrived waaaay sooner than that! He was super respectful with everything and I felt comfortable leaving my vehicle in charge with their company to drive it to it's destination! Will be contacting them in the future for emergencies. The driver was very rude. I called for a tow and the driver was very rude to the point I refuse to pay so.Rome for bad service. If you are not in a emergency situation find another tow service.
Great service. This was the 2nd time I used them in 4 yrs Both times quick service and temperature was single digits. They did not give up right away. They came out in 30 min 2nd time and took a little longer to get car started. Tries different methods to get car started. Worked perfectly.
Called for a tow and guy asked what kind of car I had then told me it would cost $290 cash only! Crooks! I only needed it towed 6 miles away! Told him he was taking advantage of people. Stay away from them. I ended up going with their competitor for a 1/4 of their price.
We had a bad situation where we got stuck on the beach near Waukegan Harbor. We had a Suburban with a trailer and boat attached. We had a buddy come with his Ford to pull us out but that did not work. So we decided to call this towing company. They came within the hour saw that they actually needed a bobcat and thankfully got us out within 20 minutes! Joel was seriously great. They were patient and meticulous and knew what had to be done. Very professional.

When you try to call them they don't answer. When you get the answering machine , they talk so fast you have no idea what they are saying. The person on the answering machine sounds so muffled it sounds so horrible. When someone calls make sure to answer. You are the one missing out on business.
I’m so glad I called Abel! I needed a flatbed to transport a 69 Camaro and the day we scheduled the move the windchill was -20 and Jose was more than willing to do the transport even with the horrible temps. Luckily, he was very flexible and agreed to switch to a different day. The service we received was reasonably priced, very friendly and done with expert care. I would recommend Abel to anyone for your towing needs.
Simply the best road service around! I have called them for towing and when I locked my keys in my car. Fast quick service and a good price. I'm not one to leave reviews but I had to after my 3rd time coming back to them. Highly recommended for going the extra mile for me.

Called another locksmith, these guys charged me 25 dollars just to come out, and they wanted to charge me 250 dollars just to open my car, called Abel Towing, 85 dollars, and it took less than 10 minutes!
Called them towards the end of their day needing towing service. He didn't even hesitate and was here within 30 min. Nice and friendly, Has also worked on my jeep in the past.

I had locked my keys in my car on 9/22/13 & I had called Abel's towing to help me get into my car. He came out about 1/2 hour later & explained exactly what he was doing & took great care as to not damage my car. I have a '95 Lexus LS400 & it proved to be very difficult to get into my car with the security system & the tight weather seals on the windows. Although it was difficult & took a substantial amount of time he remained very calm & professional. He definitely knew what he was doing.
