Terrific place to keep your car running smoothly. Brought my Camry (2012) in awhile ago; they checked it out at no charge. Came up with a list of things that needed attention. Prioritized the list, and my car is running great! Reasonably priced work; honest; pleasant; no BS...Discount Tire and Service is OUTSTANDING!

I went to this auto repair shop due to a flat tire, and I needed immediate assistance. However, they kindly informed me that they were booked, and couldn't take on any additional customers. They actually were apologetic about it. Then, they referred me to another local's mechanic shop. Their referral was outstanding!! My car got fixed very quickly and professionally. Cannot express how nice it is to have a mechanic that is trustworthy, Adam has taken care of myself, friends and family alike. Been coming here for 10 years and never disappointed. I would give them 10 stars if possible. Adam and his crew are amazing! They're friendly and honest with their prices and services. I’m not being paid by DT&S, nor am I related to them. Simply stated, they did great work for a reasonable price, quickly, with great customer service on an unusual car which others had refused to work on (so they know what they are doing). Talk about a TOTALLY honest business. Hard to find these days but Discount Tire & Service never disappoints. I have been using their tire service for years. Have referred two of my sisters there. The dealership was telling me I needed new tires on my truck. Set up an appointment at this location. However, the guy at the desk came out and looked at the tires and said I didn't really need them just yet. Said I could probably get 10,000 more miles. THANKS. You saved me an unwarranted expense!

Very experienced mechanics. Well run operation and priced fairly. I would highly recommend this automotive repair shop to anyone. Even though they're busy, they always fit me in sooner rather than later. They do great work at a very fair price. I won't go anywhere else. Very trustworthy.

These guys saved me when my tire was ready to fall off. They had no appointments, but the owner said, "let me pull it in real quick just to make sure you're safe." THIS is quality customer service run by GOOD people. I'll be back when it's time for new tires.

My first experience with Discount was 9 years ago when my very old high mileage Scion had a flat and due to rusted lugs, it had to be towed there. They took care of that issue and were extremely mindful of my budget. I continued to take my car there for service and anything else I needed. Adam always mindful that I " just need it to run" and never tried to upsell me. After all, the car had 258K miles on it. I eventually got a newer used car and never thought once about taking it anywhere else. I had an issue with the windshield wiper transmission and Kia wanted to charge me an insane amount, Adam to the rescue! he found the part and had it installed for 1/4 the price others quoted. Recently I bought a newer SUV. I had a large nail in my tire the other day and popped in on a Friday morning at 7:40am.. Adam didn't hesitate to get me in, and the tire fixed in 30 minutes! and boy was I thrilled at how little it cost! I am moving out of the area soon, But I still work in St. Charles, I will not take my car anywhere else even if I have to travel a bit, it is so worth my peace of mind knowing I will be well taken care of without ever having to worry about being overcharged or upsold.

Adam the owner/manager is the best. My wife’s tire had a slow leak on her run flat tires (If you know the cost of run flats, they aren’t cheap). I was told by the big corporate competitor it was unrepairable and I needed 4 new tires. A friend referred me to Adam and he repaired the tire for pennies vs spending thousands for 4 new tires. I think we can all agree it’s hard to find a reliable and trustworthy person for maintenance on your cars and tires. Adam now does all our oil changes, tire rotations, and we get our tires from him now and forever. Reliable and thrust worthy service is hard to find these days. 100% recommend to anyone and everyone. I drive 20 min out of my way to take my cars to Discount Tire and Service and will continue to do so. All my friends and family have been recommended to them I will continue to do so. I do not trust any other mechanic in the Room St. Charles area. They're great at what they do. They're honest too. I've played dumb just to test them several times. If they're short with you on the phone, is because they're SWAMPED. just messaged to talk fast and not take it personally. Despite how busy they are they're the only mechanics I have ever heard of and seen for myself to finish ahead of schedule and UNDER BUDGET! They also do great work trainings the next generation of mechanics. I've never seen so many young mechanics literally running to their next task, or standing at attention while they wait for their next assignment. It is amazing. If only I could find a doctor like them.

I have been using these guys for years and they are the best. Small shop with excellent customer service. I had a flat tire and was impressed with their reviews. I needed to go to work by 9 am and did not want to be late for work. I called and Adam told me to come right in at 7 am. It so happened I was staying at Lazarus House and informed them where I lived at that time. Adam told me it will be done right away. Two customers came in at different times and they took care of them first. Both customers gave me raving reviews for this business. Prior to this visit I had my tires checked out by another mechanic and it had very good threads. (about a month earlier) They fixed the flat by 11 am and I paid the bill in full. When I got the car, the entire seats were covered with dirt. Looked like somebody got a shoe, dipped it in mud and put the shoe marks all over the car seats. I complained and a staff member came out with a cleaning agent and cleaned the upholstery. I was puzzled. Couple of months later when I had oil change done, at a different auto shop, I was informed my tires were bald and needed to be replaced. This company is in business of selling used tires. They replaced my tires with bald tires (all 4). I had my tires replaced with another mechanic. Another thing, they did not have parking. Their facility is so small that they utilize the parking lot of their neighbor. Not recommended.

I started off the morning with a flat tire....not so fun. I gave Discount Tire & Service a call to find out if they could squeeze me into their busy schedule to take a look and patch. Matt was very accommodating. He and his crew took care of me ASAP and got me back on the road in no time. Great customer service and fair price to patch up my tire. It may not seem like a big deal to most, but I'm so thankful they could help me out in a jiffy. If ever I am in need of other car services, I'll be sure to visit your company again. These guys are awesome! Great prices. Honest. I brought it in for a brake job they called me back and said I had plenty of pad and the rotors were good so I didn’t need it. I brought in my son s car and it took much longer than they estimated but they didn’t charge more than their original quote. I totally trust these guys.

Simple process with Discount tire ! Called in morning to see what was available cause the wifes MDX needed tires, oil change and brakes and was done by lunch the same day ! Great locally owned family business ! Call them you won't be disappointed ! Great job Discount Tire !

No complaints. Matt and Adam are great. My car needed rear caliper which I was not aware of along with pads and rotors. Instead of just saying I need something they walked me back to the shop and showed me. I appreciated that. I did not feel I was being pressured. They took care of me. Will definitely be back!

We've gone to this place for years. We've found them to be extremely honest and they do great work. Adam also gave us some excellent advice when we were looking at purchasing a new vehicle. We highly recommend them. Update 6/21/2013: We just had another great experience with Discount and I had to update my review. Our 2008 Honda Fit was sounding a little funny - like a bearing was going out. We brought it in and told Adam to just look things over. They took some time and cleaned the brakes a bit (we don't drive the vehicle much) and said that everything looked good. Adam refused payment since they hadn't really done anything and said "We'll make you pay when we do some real work." This is the second time they've done some minor work and told us not to worry about it. I imagine it isn't something they do for customers they don't know well, but still... how cool is that?
