This place use to be Stafford Auto Parts. It was a great place with great service. I use to buy a lot from them. It is now Fenix and has been for awhile. They are absolutely pathetic. Wrong parts, poor delivery times, no returned calls, I think I've called them for the last time.

Very rarely do I leave negative reviews. This may even be the first one. I own a dealership in WI and called to purchase a hard to find hood in specific color that they had. I was transferred to someone who was supposed to take my information in order to create a wholesale account so I could purchase the part. I got a voicemail and left a detailed message. Two days pass with no return call so I reach out again. This time I provide my email address and information directly to someone on the phone. Two more days pass with no email so I call a third time. This time, within 5 minutes, they finally send the email over to set up the account so I can order the hood. But I was informed the hood was sold to someone else one day ago, yesterday. My only other option now is ultimately paying twice as much for a different color hood and having it repainted the right color. I was practically begging them to sell me the hood for an entire week and due to the ball being dropped twice in a row it was sold to someone else. Only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is the woman on the phone the third/final time was very pleasant and helpful and actually sent the sign up email. I'm sure they sell lots of good/useful parts here, but so far my experience with them has been frustrating.

Where do I start? Staff is dishonest and when called out they like to play victim. I have tried for a week now to check the status and location of the part I ordered AND PAID FOR and they are now tell me that I never ordered anything and it’s only “saved as a quote” in their system, but 2 days ago when I called and checked the status of the order they told me it would be a day late and even gave me the exact order number, make, model of vehicle and who the order was for. When I called them out for lying to me they said to “stop accusing them of lying” and to “deal with the sales rep that took the order, it is not my problem” their behavior is disrespectful and disgusting DO NOT BUY YOUR PARTS FROM HERE THEY WILL SCAM YOU. For your own good don’t.

Pretty good and great service, Spoke to Tom a lot of times and he is very great with getting and shipping the parts I need at any time! Other than that, the quality is good for parts would totally recommend dealership use this place to get what they need.

Dave Willis at Fenix is an all star of a sale person! He goes above and beyond for us daily. We spend several thousands a week with Fenix from smalls items to motors and transmissions. Good and honest parts and prices. Shout out to Tom who has helped me at my previous job with ordering parts, honestly one of the easiest to deal with unlike some other auto part stores, always helpful, giving good prices, and understanding of circumstances and expectations of the parts we order, even when returned. If you want to get parts and actually have the guy find them, then you need to go see Tom at Fenix. Every other yard always says they will call me back and never do. Tom has always been straight up and legit with locating whatever I need. And pumps, motors, transmissions. Things are smooth when I deal with him.

Extremely happy with the parts that I was able to find through Fenix. Tom somehow comes up with the things that other recycled parts places can’t. I know that if Tom tells me it’s right and in good shape, I don’t have to worry about it.

Tom is honestly the best! Before I knew about tom, I was ordering from Fenix every once in a while. To be honest, the service I was receiving before was way too slow and unreliable that I had discussed with my employees potentially finding someone else to do business with! One of our sister locations heard about our troubles with Fenix and recommended me Tom. Now with Tom’s Excellent service, I am ordering as much as I can and have yet to be disappointed! I’m talking about updates on parts we are waiting on, color match parts, and lower prices than competing Salvage yards! Excellent service! Making sure the parts work for the vin! Invoice number 2136203. Bought a grade A no damage front bumper assembly (not cover) for a ford explorer. Was called and told it came in, and "looked great". I drove 300 miles to go get it, and it's completely unusable. Grill is removed tabs where it's mounted is cracked. lower grill is cracked. Multiple scrapes through the paint. Several cracks in the lower portion of the bumper. Completely unusable. I'm upset that it was let to go through quality control, and nobody thought to question all the damage before calling me. Wasted $134 worth of fuel, and tolls, to go get it. Shame on me for trusting the person on the other end of the phone. I wasn't rude or mean to anyone, I just walked away in disbelief. I called the sales manager (justin), and he apologized, but nothing more. I can ignore the time wasted to drive down, but the $134 worth of tolls and gas is really a thorn in my side.

AVOID SELLER DAVE BRILL! I had one of the worst experiences buying car parts here. I ordered a hood for my Chevy Malibu and gave them the exact paint code (G6M) and stock number (UJD066). Dave Brill confirmed they had it in stock. He was rude and unprofessional from the start, but I let it slide because I really needed the part. After I paid, it took him three days to let me know the hood was ready for pickup. I drove over two hours to their location and when I got there the hood was the wrong color. When I asked what happened, they checked and found out that Dave had sold the correct hood I paid for to someone else. He sold it to another person after confirming it was mine. Instead of calling me to cancel my order or apologize, he just swapped it with a random hood in a different color and acted like nothing was wrong. He wasted my time and delayed the car repair. I can’t imagine what would’ve happened if I’d sent someone else to pick it up without checking. It honestly felt like he was trying to scam me. Avoid doing business with Dave Brill. He clearly doesn’t care about customer service and seems to hate his job. If you have to buy from here, make sure you deal with someone else.

Although they couldn't provide the parts I needed, they helped me out as much as they could with referrals and part terminology, which is super helpful!! Both Ian and Alex were wonderful to engage with, both very kind and helpful and generally positive, which really made me smile. Thank you guys for the very pleasant interactions!

I have been over 15 years in the car business , never worked with a junk yard as bad as this one . they will take your money , push to sell you an extended warranty on the part . when the part is bad and you ask for a return or replacement , they dissapear . I have about 5 different parts here between trans and engines that was purchased from the , installed by our pro mechanics and the parts are bad . they never replace or take parts back . only in business of taking your money for junk parts that is not even inspected . stay away if you want to save your money , go to other trusted parts yard .

Purchased a 6.7 cummins engine from this company. They told me when I bought it would get pulled from the truck and put directly on a pallet to be shipped. They said it would be complete with nothing taken off it. After getting the motor it was stripped of everything and basically a long block. The oil pan was damaged wiring harness cut and how it was strapped to the pallet messed up the valve cover. I reached out to the company and told them about the issues and all they gave me was $500 dollars back That wasn’t enough to pay for basically anything that damaged or missing. Needless to say I am very unhappy and would never use this company again.

Disappointment is an understatement. We ordered a silver fender that was shipped from their Cincinatti location to this location. When we showed up from Wisconsin (shipping not offered) it was discovered that the fender shipped was brown. Someone in their system changed the order without flagging it. We will at least get our money back for the fender in so many days but our driver's time, fuel expenses, tolls and everything else is expensed by us. When we ask if there is anything they can do for their obvious mistake the gentleman disregarded everything.

The warranty process is horrible. We did an engine for a client and it's a bad engine we called and we have gotten no response for almost a month the vehicle never left the shop and now they want us to jump hoops to prove its a bad engine do you really think I want to re do an engine for fun and free just how dumb does that sound.

I just have to say Mike Parry was PHENOMENAL about everything! He's fairly new, but you'd never guess until he tells you! Super professional as well as thorough and communicative. He was patient with me as I went about 3 days trying to get affairs in order for my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe hood that needed ordered. I had issues with my billing address and he was never pushy by any means. He totally understood the situation and ultimately it all worked out and I was able to purchase. Definitely recommend the Chicago location and if you can, Ask for Mike Parry!! He will get the job done and find you a good deal!! Thanks again Mike!!

Found that they had a fender that was a perfect match for my car. Description on the car-parts website showed there was no damage to it. When I picked it up, it was wrapped up in bubble wrap and a box, nice touch. But after getting it home and opening it, it was severely scratched. Very disappointed that happened. But, after talking with them, they offered a solution to the damaged fender, which I thought was very fair. Overall, I cannot complain about the customer service they offer.

I should review places more often but OMG these folk were amazing. I called Joel let him I know I was on the way. Had it pulled off, cleaned. I was helped with loading. Honestly I am incredibly satisfied. I was in and out within 15 minutes. The guys were extremely helpful. Very very happy. I hope I don't come back but if I do, I know it'll be a seamless process. Awesome!!
