I had an excellent experience at the AutoZone in Elburn thanks to Bobby Patrick. My car kept dying and I suspected a battery issue. Bobby ran a thorough test, confirmed that the battery was bad, and then went above and beyond by helping me replace it on the spot.
Not only did he install the new battery, but he also took the extra time to add a shim on the terminal to ensure the best possible connection. What really stood out was how he interacted with my 11-year-old son, who was fascinated by the process. Bobby was patient, friendly, and explained what he was doing in a way that made my son feel included.
This kind of customer service is rare these days. AutoZone is fortunate to have someone like Bobby representing their store. I highly recommend this location!
Stuff on your car needs to be fixed sometimes, if you own a vehicle there’s no way around it and as a girl who knows nothing about cars or how to fix things it can be a little intimidating walking into an autozone. I found which isle I needed to be in just fine and the books they have hanging around were there but all I saw was a series of numbers. Thankfully Aiden L. Came to my rescue and helped me find the best of best that would fit my car and even went above and beyond to make sure I got everything fixed and secure before I left the parking lot. Because of Aiden’s help I no longer have to worry about walking into an autozone. This experience was one small step for me and a giant leap for girls who know nothing about cars.
Guys and girls here are always super helpful, and always try their best to help in any way. I stopped in about 10 times today and every-time they helped out as much as they possibly could
I first went to this auto zone for the convenience but I continue to go back to the customer service! The people working there are always so attentive and helpful! I bought a battery 2 years ago, went in to buy another - they found it was under warranty and gave me a new one. In and out in less than 5 minutes. Thanks to the two gentleman who we’re working tonight that helped me out!

Had a tire go flat and was hissing air. Pulled into the Auto Zone and met John. Realizing we were up against the clock, he called a local auto shop to see if they might get me into to fix the flat. Kwik Fix in Elburn was just as welcoming and friendly as John. I have come to the Elburn Auto Zone over the years for my automotive needs. I can say that they have always been kind and helpful. I can say John deserves most of the credit and I'm very grateful for his help during this crisis. Thank you for going above and beyond to meet the needs of your customers!

December 12 2024 12° outside and woke up to a dead battery. I went on the website, placed an order for delivery, and literally had a battery within 45 minutes. Thank you Autozone for always having my back!
Just had a gentleman by the name of Phil check my battery and made sure car is all good. I tried to give him a $5 tip cause it’s chilly he said he cannot accept it and was so kind. Give that man a raise he’s too kind and and honest. Thanks Phil
Went to have a battery checked out here. Auto zone rep was helpful testing the battery for me which ended up being dead. They hooked me up with a new battery and now my car is got to go. Definitely recommend this place.
I’ve been frequenting AutoZones since I can remember. This particular store comes with a John and a Randy, two of the most helpful employees out of any AutoZone I’ve ever visited. They always get me squared away with what I need, and have the knowledge to back it up. On this day John and Randy went above and beyond, staying a few minutes past regular hours just to help me out. Keep up the amazing work John and Randy of Elburn AutoZone, you guys are the BEST!
John was a big help when I had a leak from one of the hoses coming from my coolant tank. He took his time with me to make sure it was fixed and ready to drive. He probably saved me hundreds of dollars by not having to go to a mechanic.
I went there 5 minutes before closing time when my car battery died nearby. They walked over to my car, tested the battery and helped me jump it. The worker who helped me then refused to take any payment despite standing in the cold and having to stay late to assist me. They were absolutely fantastic and I would recommend this location to anyone!
I got pulled over by Elburn PD errrr!!! because my headlight was out. I went to Autzone and Evan helped me out. He showed me the difference between the bulbs. He knew a lot about headlights. He explained to me the yellow versus white bulbs. I went with the white and I’m really happy I did. Love them! Thanks Evan for all your help!
I came in because my battery died and was pleasantly surprised it was under warranty still. John and Craig quickly and painlessly processed the warranty claim and even replaced it for me!

The only reason for one star is zero wasn't an option. Stopped for a battery because the car wouldn't start behind the building. Wife got to the door as they were closing and was told they wouldn't help and sell one. Unbelievable for that attitude in a small town. Big corporations for you. Never stop at any AutoZone again
I had a flat tire outside of the store, I asked to see the rent an item list, Jordan asked what’s the problem and Jordan helped me with everything I needed . He even showed me a kit to fix the tire later on. Amazing worker 100%.

Check engine light went on. Went to Firestore to get the code reading. No luck. Went to this Autozone. Jordan came out and read the code. Printed out a report. It was a Canister Purge Value. Never heard of it. Jordan sold us the part and we looked at how to replace it. I watched a 3 min YouTube video. Super easy. Jordan gave us two sets of gloves. We replaced the part and went on our way. Outstanding customer service. Great job!!
Very helpful and knowledgeable. Always go to the store they have more items then on their website. Was looking for a lawn mower battery and they had exactly what I wanted cheaper then anywhere else.
Very poor experience with this store. Huge wait time and line. Had 1 employee working who didn't seem very knowledgeable. Had a woman in the corner who claimed to work there but when we and other customers asked her if she could help the stated that she had just quit. Ended up leaving without making a purchase. Thanks for nothing AutoZone.

Very nice and helpful people who will find what you need quickly. Not only do they have all the automotive things I need, they are like the Elburn hardware store since we don't have one near by. I always stop here before I go into town to go to a hardware store and they almost always have what I need.
Went for a diagnostic today and the gentleman there was very helpful. I recently installed a new cold Air intake and that was exactly what it was reading. I now have the sensor and fix the appropriate part. Thanks buddy.
Service is great but I'm increasingly becoming more frustrated with lack of parts. Unless u are looking for something very common, like brake pads, for a very common car forget about finding parts here. Rarely do they ever have what I'm looking for. Sometimes they can find it on their online site but at that point you might as well order from Amazon or Ebay for a third of what they would charge. The same goes for other auto parts stores in the area too. They have very tough competition now from the likes of Amazon with no tax and 1-2 day free shipping at basement bargain prices. It's only a matter of time they close the Elburn store.
They went the extra mile. I needed to get car battery out of my car and they lent me a battery puller! It worked great and I was back in business in an hour! Friendly staff!
