They give you a price for your car and then lower the price once you wait hours for them to pick it up. I HAD NO MISSING PARTS ,ON PEDDLE .COM IT ASKED IF VAN HAS A CAT CONVERTER ON IT AND IT DOES, THEN WHEN YOU GET TO MY HOUSE YOU ASK IF IT IS A FACTORY CAT.CONVERTER AND I HONSTLY SAY NO IT IS FROM NAPPA, AND THE YOU LOWER THE PRICE BY 60 DOLLARS. THE VALUE OF MY POST IS TO LET PEOPLE KNOW HOW YOU CHANGE PRICE WHEN YOU GET HOUSE BECAUSE YOU WOULD HAVE NOT KNOWN IF CAT CONVERTER WAS OEM OR AFTERMARKET.
Was paired with them from peddle, absolutely easy to navigate. Fernando was amazing, he updated me when he was on his way, helped us take off the license plate cause they were frozen and he gave me my small side mirror for memories. Super easy and would use again !!

Anyway I live a ways away, but I'm glad I'm in the area often enough for work to use this yard! I've gone to MANY in the past, and still have to occasionally... none of them are ran this well! Buyer beware. Definitely not honest. Brought 3 whole walls of siding in and got 78 bucks. Took a single wall of siding to another place and got 103 bucks.

Sold my old car to Aurora Metal Recycling and had a very good experience. Fernando came to pick up the car on a flatbed tow truck. He was on time, friendly and patient and communicated well. I got a fair price for my vehicle, it was the highest quote I got anywhere.

Just had my dead Infiniti G35 picked up by these guys. Probably could have gotten more from an online listing, but they gave me the fairest price, hauled it away for no charge, and the driver, Javier was a good guy. If I have another dead car in my future, I will be doing business with them again.

Aurora metal recycling was assigned to remove a junk car we sold on Peddle. I haven't dealt with anything like this before and this company way amazing. Great communication, rescheduled me quickly at my request and picked up the vehicle this morning with absolutely no issues. The guy that towed the vehicle away was polite, funny and super quick! I was referred to them through Peddle. I put in a request about a half hour before they closed. I was called back in less than 10 minutes, given a pickup time in the morning of the next day.
The gentleman who came to pick the car up was super friendly and helped me with the title process. I got cash in hand and my car was gone the next day. It took only a few moments and everyone was friendly in the process.

I've used them twice in the past 5 years or so. Both times a very friendly and courteous staff helped me. I brought in a few pounds of scrap aluminum and copper brackets from an office clean out and the prices were fair.
I always bring my scrap here. Never had an issue with anyone or anything at this facility. Actually heading there twice tomorrow because my trailer is stuffed. 1st load is all steel & 2nd will be my copper/aluminum.
Edit : for anyone curious i did not hear from them today which is a shame I was honestly hoping to hear from them today.
Op : Thats not quite entirely true. I was told when you could pick up the car which was fine. I had then given numerous days and times which would work for me. I work nights and can understand if my schedule doesn't fit yours. After no response I sent one last email asking for clarification or if I needed to go elsewhere. I then received an email simply stating "no problem I will go ahead and cancel your request" with zero effort to make any other suggestions or to explain why my schedule doesn't work with yours. It was only after this review and several emails trying to figure it out that I got any kind of explanation. I had even said I was free all afternoon Wednesday. So how about this....wanna make it right? You have my information and know I'm free Wednesday. Let me know
The folks at Aurora Metal Recycling did a great job picking up my old dilapidated Acura Legend today. They called beforehand, had me make sure the car had certain things in it so it wouldn't reduce the price that Peddle had offered. The person who picked up the car was courteous and did a great job getting it out of my tight driveway. Thank you for the positive experience and great offer for my scrap metal parts car.

I never give reviews but I have to do it because I need to give props where it is deserved. I have to give a good review because Aurora has provided great service to my workers when they buy and sell; however, unfortunately lately I feel they have been less organized and consistent on Saturdays without their best worker Carlos. He really knows his products and runs that company. I will continue to send my guys as long as he is there, even if it's ONLY Mondays-Fridays. Give that man a raise, Aurora Metal Recycling would be lost without him!!!
We donated a car in Dec 2018. The experience was so easy and actually fun! We appreciated the phone call and text messages alerting us of the driver's location so we would be sure to be home. Thank you for making this an enjoyable experience!
Great experience!!..Polite and genuine and Mike was an all around nice guy!!..needed to get rid of a van and came out a few hours later. He fit us in for a late pick up ...same day...and didnt bat an eyelash. Nothing less the SUPERIOR business handling...THANK YOU MIKE!!.
