This is a great place for used parts, their is a $3.00 fee plus you have to sign in which I believe its a waiver to enter the yard. They usually have vehicles next to each other according to make and model. I search first to see if they have what I need so I don't have to drag my tools while I'm searching. You are allowed to retrieve your tools and reenterthe yard.
They found a great way to make cash.Tell people you don't know what you have and charge them 3 dollars to look through it.So they don't record what comes in anwhere?If they told you they didn't have it you wouldn't pay the 3 dollars would you?This is nuts.Been to other places and they never did business like this

Tried to charge almost 100 dollars for headlights for a 2000s civic you can get them new online for 65, overpriced for used parts and when I tried to talk to the gentleman at the counter to see if we could work something out he said you should’ve done your homework first, no willingness to even attempt a deal service like this is why people don’t come back. No reality on pricing or market value of items you will get overcharged, may as well find what you need elsewhere.
Good place to find parts off of junked vehicles. I've noticed that they have a lot of employees walking around watching you. $3 to get in. They need to keep an active inventory of vehicles so u can see what rececently came in also having the vehicles in a better order of makes would save u time searching all over the lot! Overall I like this pick n pull!
AVOID THIS PLACE. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I've been to many yards and this one is the WORST. $3 FEE TO GET IN, $2 for environmental bullshit fee, $2 credit card fee. So you're at already $7 for bullshit fees BEFORE you pay for anything. $6 for a gallon of used antifreeze should tell you something about the prices at this place. You can get brand new antifreeze at Walmart or Menards on sale for the same price!!!
This yard is a MESS, They don't have a clue what cars are in inventory, nor will they tell you, RUDE workers, RUDE cashier, RUDE yard people. Save the $7 bullshit fees and the aggravation and the waste of time. ... GO TO JOLIET yards, NO entrance fee, and much better organized, and lower part pricing.
Charge two dollars to get in not bad. No listing of inventory is horrendous! There is no parts pricing that you can see! Once they get your money they do t give it back if what you buy is bad. This place is a joke!!!! GO TO JOLIET U PULL IT THEY HAVE PARTS PRICES THAT YOU CAN SEE AND INVENTORY THAG YOU CAN SEE AND THEIR PRICES ARE WAY WAY WAY BETTER.
This is an okay Junk Yard...a little expensive and they charge to get in...Only thing is that you have to find the car you're working on which takes forever. I would suggest they organize the cars and trucks by Make, Ford,Chevy, etc.
I'm seeing everyone say they were charged $2 to get in but when I went, they guy charged me and my buddy $12 cash each and the prices for parts there were horrendous. If you're pulling real things, go to Joliet. Free entry, better prices, better service, and very organized. I wouldn't recommend this junkyard to anybody.
Terrible attitudes. They don’t have a clue what the inventory is and prices are very high. I found other used car/junk yards for cheaper and they pull the parts for you. Very disappointing. 125 dollars for a door that I have to go and pull. Yet you’re paying 350 for the whole car….
This is the place with the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life.despotic workers give you one price and when you bring the parts they give you another price. I do not recommend it at all.
This is my first time here. Very nice and clean yard. The guy I spoke with at the counter was nice and helpful. I didn't find what I was looking for, but I found something that I wasn't. It's a 45-minute drive for me, but I would go back.
I've visited 4 times, they are consistently helpful and friendly when I have questions or need advice. I incorrectly purchased an item and they were nice enough to allow me to swap it out for the correct item. I'm from Boston, MA so maybe it's that midwestern hospitality but either way I like this specific yard.
I'm actually heading back there today, they have a number of donor cars specific to my needs.
I liked this place but not the 2$ fee per person but it's bss . They have their cars very well organized many cars ranging from 2000's and up very little 90's . I also liked that they have little wagons where you can put your tool/parts so you don't got to carry all of that stuff around. Also there is some decent spacing in the cars and there lifted which makes it easier to pull something out
The place charged $2 dollars to enter and explore. They charged me an additional $12 dollars for the part I needed. It was okay because a new part would be around $35 dollars and I would have to wait to be delivered and everything.
The place has all the kinds of cars and parts, just make sure to bring your own tools for parts removal, and also ask the price before start to pick up parts( I believe they will charger more if you don't ask before).
They are pretty well organized and the place is very clean. They ask for 2 dollars just to enter. After checking out several cars that were like mine I finally got out the part I needed. They then asked me almost the same price I paid for a new part online. I didn't even know if that part worked or not. I do not think I will be going back to this junkyard.
I had never experienced a salvage yard like this before, but found it to be a good experience after I figured out the process. Basically you pay $2 to gain access to the yard. You can go find the years/models you are interested in and then remove parts you want with your own tools. You take all your parts in and check out. Some major parts prices are posted. You can bargain with them when purchasing many parts at one time. I was able to find a truck one year different from mine and salvage many extra parts from it. I saved hundreds of dollars compared to shopping for used and reproduction parts online.
I don't get why this place isn't reviewed better. It's a lot of cars, you go there, get what you need, pay the cashier and leave. What could go wrong with that? Further more they always have a good variety of vehicles, the staff is friendly, they have some of the best prices around, they offer warranties, and one time when I couldn't get something off they oxy cut it for me while I waited.
