I just wanna start out by saying I don’t know how this is as a business but I know the old man that was there the night I came is just not a good person. My car had died out at a gas station and they ended up towing it. I got the time I’m living in a domestic violence shelter with 3 kids without a house and now without a car because my car broke down, I had a job, but all of my work equipment was in the car $700 worth of stuff, Every piece of clothing me and my kids had was in that car cause we’re traveling around all over at the time medication’s that I needed wallet ID this man refused to let me get my stuff out with paying it was like $300. I guess technically he didn’t have to get my clothes out, but he should’ve let me get my medication’s and my personal belongings and if he was any kind of a decent person and saw me there with three young children that were left with absolutely nothing after them taking my car I would think he would’ve let me get my pictures out at least my medication‘s maybe It’s a little bit of stuff we had left after escaping domestic abuse. And again, I couldn’t work after that either because he wouldn’t let me get my work equipment out of the car. I’m a hairstylist. Now this is where it gets real messed up a friend of mine who spoke Spanish called him because he didn’t that guy didn’t speak English hardlyHe told my friend that spoke Spanish. If he came with the title, he could get everything out and didn’t have to pay anything to get it out. So if I didn’t speak English, could I’ve gotten my stuff out could you imagine if an English speaking person told a Spanish-speaking person this it would be on the news. He didn’t want me to get my stuff out and want to need to not have anything I mean that’s what it seems like to me Again it’s not about running a bad business. Whoever the hell this guy was a is just a bad person. My kids crying cause they lost not only their house bedrooms, living in domestic violence, shelter, trying to escape getting killed but now every toy clothing, memories pictures that would mean nothing to anybody else he couldn’t just let me get it out. At the time I didn’t have a dollar to my name let alone two or $300. He saw me there were three young kids cry cause all their stuff was in that car there’s a special place in hell for ignorant people like him. This actually happened a few months back. I was just sitting here thinking about it right now and it still upsets me even thinking about it. Luckily, my kids and I are not in a domestic violence, shelter anymore… Thank God for places like mutual ground Salvation Army two Rivers head a couple churches in the area if it weren’t for them we would have one outfit each. Mind you again I couldn’t work for months because all my equipment was in that car. Makes me feel better, though knowing you can’t hide from karma
The worst service the owner seems to be mentally ill they towed my car when I went to pick it up The owner started telling us not to talk to him at all, that we would just pay and leave the place because if not he was going to call the police, since the police are his friends If he wanted to, he would give us the car and if he simply decided not to, he wouldn't give it up. Really, stay away from that place.
Leo is one of the nicer Auto guy that I have ever met. People always complain about the fee here be as they are working with Aurora Police so they dont make the rules on fee, the shops work with PD does.

I can't speak to the bad reviews, but I had no issues with my experience. My motorcycle was towed, motorcycle was retrieved was no hidden fees, and I was treated well during the experience.
Absolute crooks!!!! Made me wait all day to pick up car then charged release fee. I was in accident not my fault and if hadn’t been treated by ambulance could have found a tow for $50. They towed literally 3 blocks for $140, gave me run around all day Friday and then charged $50 after hours release PLUS $50 storage for literally 24 hours and 1 minute because they did not open until 9am Saturday. Lied and said it would be $190 To pick up in the morning. Jerks. Do not use!!!!!!!
Bad customer service ....flat out the guy is crazy Go somewhere else. Like to abuse storage fees and disregards paperwork until police finally shows up
Brought my car here for check up twice and the service was amazing both times.They are honest and fast and their rates are competitive.I definitely will be going there again! Great customer service.
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! So I got into a little accident the other day and needed a tow. At the time of my accident the damage to my car was the from driver axle, I could still turn my car on and off while I was dealing w this ordeal. After the tow however the person clearly did not know what they were doing, they broke my other front axel (was intact before) and during the time it was sitting in they're lot for pick up they ran my battery down( it was COMPLETELY dead when I got it back) and charged me up the ass. Now here come the worst part while setting it down he had no clue what his was doing just a lot of bouncing the car till it fell off the lift, at one point my license plate was literally kissing the ground he bent it, slightly scratched my back bumper, after he asked for our doormat to prevent that from happening. Unorganized buisness, told me 3 different prices and wanted to charge me even more when he dropped it off at my home because he forgot to charge me the storage fee ( mind u he let my car dieand broke my other side) all together an awful nerve wracking experience.
STAY AWAY....GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! I HAVE A NEW CAR (1 YEAR OLD) WITH VERY LOW MILES ON IT AND WAS IN A MINOR FENDER BENDER - the airbags did not even deploy. I called Lake Auto for the tow...The towing was fine. Then they insisted they could do the repairs... the body work and paint job is horrible. I have never dealt with anyone like this in my life!! I have swirls all over my car! Nothing is aligned! They placed my vehicle on a towing truck, attached on end to one truck and the other end of my car to another then played tug-o-war to align it!!! This bent the control arm or something! Did they fix that? No way! One of the tires was scuffed up in the accident, but I replaced two of them because it was time any way and they put my two front tires on without using grease!! BOTH tires ended up sliced and a huge bubble popped out of the side wall of both tires (on separate occasions) while I was driving!! The tire place said they had never seen a bubble so huge and that I was very lucky the tire didn't blow out! They also damaged my tire sensor because they put it on wrong! (I replaced that out of my own pocket!) My kids were in the car with me and I could have been in a horrible accident because Lake Auto wanted to save a few bucks an not put the tires on correctly! This was an insurance deal and they did not do all of the repairs they were paid to do! My insurance company is suing them! I may too!!! I had to take my car back twice to get all the repairs done and they still messed it up! I had glue all over my car and they dinged up my doors too!! I had my insurance agent and the tire company contact Lake Auto to try to resolve some of these issues and they downright refused to! They denied doing anything wrong!! I took over a month going back and forth before I finally gave up!! My car is still VERY messed up!!! It still pulls to the right and my steering wheel wobbles now when I brake!!! ALL OVER A MINOR FENDER BENDER!!! PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!
