Fast Service. Friendly. Helpful. I was told my ETA would be 60 to 90 minutes before they got to me. Maybe took them only 20 minutes to get to me. Dakota was great, got the issue resolved in a timely manner.

Needed a truck punched onto a rollback and transfered onto one of our flatbed trailers. They had a guy out there in 15 minutes time and were very fair on price. Would highly recommend them.
Car got towed and the first initial tow man would not give me an estimate of what my charges would be because “he did not know how long the car would be sitting” I informed him someone was on the way to get it. No price was given. I get to the tow yard to retrieve my vehicle and I was okay with the tow charge of “$200 Towing” and the “$50 admin charge”. However, the scratched out “Re-Tow fee” to add a “$100 Gate fee“ and scratched off “Recovery fee” to add a “$50 Call out fee” was very disappointing and doesn’t seem to reflect the previous reviews. Charged me $400 and didn’t have my car even 8hrs. The guy said “$50 Call out fee for the tow man’s TIME” even though the tow man was going BACK TO THE SHOP anyway to deliver a wrecked vehicle. They just simply made up charges because I came and got my vehicle before storage fees could be added. I was told “We don't release cars until 8am” but when I rode with the first initial tow guy he stated all I needed to do was make sure someone was there before I went. Thanks but no Thanks
My truck broke down 18 miles north of town these guys stayed in contact with me and got to me quickly and the trucks were clean and the driver was amazing wish I would’ve gotten his name he go me hooked up and took extra care with my truck and load so thank you so much for your dedication

I needed to tow my broken down van a mile and a half. Other towing companies were quoting me upwards of $400 to do that. But heartland towing offered tondonit for free as I am a single mom with little money. Got it done in less than an hour! Thank you guys soo much! Traveling from Texas to Michigan for a family reunion I stopped for the night in Effingham and locked my keys in my truck at my hotel parking lot. I was totally stuck, but thankfully I was referred to Heartland Towing and after giving them a call they dispatched Mike quickly who then fixed me up with outstanding service, recovered my keys and saved my vacation.

I think it was the owner that answered my call and he was super friendly and nice. Then the driver Mr. Jesse Outlaw was my driver, he was super friendly and efficient at his job. He had my truck hooked up and loaded within a couple minutes. During the ride to my destination I noticed how spotless the interior of there vehicles are. All and all it was a great experience especially in a crappy situation. Plus they are very affordable. Thank you Heartland for making this a seamless experience
We were in a accident on 1/5/2025 on I 57 near Effingham ILLINOIS. They towed vehicle and we went to pickup our belongings they were in the process of getting our stuff out of our red diesel truck. Once we got home we were missing our aluminum heavy duty jack, a Dewalt impact tool. In my husband's duffle bag was a kilo of baking soda in a clear plastic bag. I'm pretty sure they didn't know that it was baking soda until later on. I can't make this stuff up. I also had a Tile tracking device in the glove compartment. So someone that works there is a thief and not sure what you plan on doing with the baking soda.
These guys were extremely helpful and courteous helping our family in time of need. My daughters hit a deer at 1:30 AM Sunday morning. Heartland Towing and Recovery, took care of us, recovered the car, and were extremly helpful early on a Sunday Morning

Heartland towing wasted no time getting to us when we broke down on our Harley! Super fast and courteous. 20 minutes after the call the y have the mistress loaded up and ready to get to the Harley shop!
I broke down on the highway at 10 pm and they quickly came to help. Driver was very kind and even waited for me to check in at the motel so that he could unload my truck as close to my room as possible.
Had a wonderful experience today considering the fact that I broke down. I was blessed to have such a wonderful tow truck driver Wayne! He brightened my day by talking to us until he got us to our destination. He got my van up on the tow truck quick. He was very kind. He spoke to us the whole way there. He got us where we needed to go. I would highly recommend this tow truck company to anyone that needs a tow!

My son was stuck in his car in a ditch about 1 am during a snowstorm on a county road. He contacted several tow companies and Heartland was the only one that said they'd put him on their list and regardless of how long it took, they'd get to him. He contacted them every couple hours to see if they were still out and each time the dispatcher was pleasant and reassuring. The driver of truck 98, LR, had to be exhausted but almost 4 hours later at 5 am, showed up super nice and did his job of digging out the car and pulling it out of the ditch. Would highly recommend this company. Thanks for the great service.
These guys were great and their price was very reasonable. My driver was very impressed with their professionalism and how courteous they were with him. Since it was after hours they couldn't process a card over the phone and they were nice enough to still release my truck to the Freightliner shop and called me the next morning to process the bill and we were charged exactly what we were quoted with no extras. Would not hesitate to use them again if we have a truck break down in their area.
Early morning on our road trip, our tire popped and left us stranded on the interstate. After two hours of being told there was no one that could help us from our roadside assistance or many local places, we finally came across Heartland towing. From the start it was a good experience, the dispatcher was very calming and the driver arrived very quickly. The driver, Zach, completely turned our day around. He was very easy to talk to and happy to help in any way he could; exactly who you want to come in a stressful situation. The tow was smooth and efficient! Can’t thank him enough for coming to the rescue this morning!
Driving home from Florida when my head gasket blew on my truck. I called Heartland the next morning and they had a guy on the way that evening. They were able to load my 7.3 power stroke, the trailer I was hauling that was loaded with three motorcycles, and the three of us. The drivers name was Daniel, and he was really easy to get along with. They really went above and beyond to make sure we got home safely.
Coming home from a band competition we hit something in the road and got a flat tire. Being stuck on the side of the interstate waiting over two hrs for our Farmers insurance 24 hrs roadside assistance to help us got us no help. We called Heartland ourselves and were picked up and on the way to a repair shop within 30 minutes. The driver was so helpful and kind and just a decent person. The service was excellent and I couldn't recommend them more highly. Thank you again!
