I had a bad battery and the GM Mike at the Naperville location was able to help me out in a very time of need. I was able to make a warranty swap for a better battery and I can make it to church in the morning

Yesterday, my car battery died, and most repair shops were closed. I decided to replace the battery myself and called Advanced Auto Care after seeing on their website that they offer free installation with a battery purchase. I spoke with Mike, who let me know that due to unexpected circumstances, he was the only representative in the store and couldn’t do the installation—but they did have the battery I needed in stock.
I chose to purchase the battery and install it myself right there in the parking lot. Mike went out of his way to assist by offering a cart with tools, which I ended up using even though I had brought my own. His help made a stressful situation much easier.
The team at this location has always been fantastic at ensuring I get the right parts and offering knowledgeable advice. Their customer service and expertise are consistently top-tier. Huge thanks to Mike and the crew!
Highly suggest stopping in and talking to Tom! He was very knowledgeable, he helped me refill my a/c for my car on the spot! I never refilled refrigerant on my car and I didn’t want to pay the high price at dealer. He helped me find out how much I needed and what type. I spent a bit under $50 All in all great experience. They always have the answers I need and are right in the neighborhood. They take used oil and used batteries also. Quick and convenient location. Always help me find the right parts. That saves time and $$.
The down to earth, old-school friendly and very helpful staff makes this Advance Auto Parts pleasant to shop at. The inventory is always very good, and it’s conveniently located on Ogden Avenue in East Naperville. Lots of other popular shopping destinations are nearby which is a plus. It’s best to enter the parking lot going westbound on Ogden Avenue since Advance Auto Parts is located on the North side of the street. Just remember, if you purchase windshield wiper blades, Advance Auto Parts will install them for you.
I had an absolutely amazing experience at this Advance Auto Parts location! When I accidentally locked my keys in my car—with my sunroof open—the store manager, Mike, went above and beyond to help me out. He took the time to fashion a wire hook and carefully fished my keys out through the sunroof, saving me from a huge hassle. His kindness, patience, and problem-solving skills were truly top-notch. It’s rare to find customer service this exceptional, and I am beyond grateful! Thank you, Mike, and the entire team for your outstanding help. Highly recommend this store!
Mike, the GM was extremely helpful and informative. I bought a part from Amazon that did not fit and thought I would stop by here to see if they would happen to have the part in stock. They didn't have the part in stock but he found a solution for me that would work and they did have in stock. Amazing customer service
I called and Mike found the correct battery for my vehicle, said he’d install it for free. Bought it, he installed it and the whole thing took maybe 15 minutes! Great service and you won’t find a nicer guy in Mike, the GM of this store. Cars aren’t my gig, but Mike treated me with respect and I couldn’t be happier!
I went in to get some new wiper blades and look for a few other items. The staff was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I was able to get what I needed and get out.

Went to the Northeast Naperville store on Ogden with my 1999 corvette…they checked the battery and it was determined the battery needed to be replaced.. I asked Micheal if they can replace it and was told they can’t replace the battery.. asked why and was told they would need to dismantle wiper cowl to pull the battery out and they don’t do that.. I told him that’s not case and pointed out when the battery is disconnected it can be pulled out without any dismantling.. he insisted they can’t replace the battery (not sure why)..I needed a battery (which cost $240.00) I had a wrench to disconnect the battery cables with me..after disconnecting the cables I needed to borrow a socket to loosen the battery hold down bolt..After disconnecting 2 battery cables and loosing the hold down bolt..I was able to pull the battery out and replaced it without any problems... In the past I have brought cars to have batteries replaced there without a problem.. The website also says they install batteries if purchased there..I felt laziness on their part since it was not hard to replace the battery. I will from now on seek a different auto parts store if I need to purchase parts .. Thanks for lack of Customer Service!!!
Asked for 17 inch brake line with fittings brought old parts to compare was given a 30 inch line with way to big fittings guy said buy a tube fare kit and different fittings absulouty absurd never going back after spending alot of money on jacks stands ciustom orders this place went from very good to ground zero highly do not reccomrnd most of what they don't have they have delivered from Napa in aurora
On my way to class yesterday, my truck’s battery suddenly started to die quickly. Luckily I was right down the road from this AAP, but I had never been, so I gave them a call to see if I could quickly get a replacement.
Frank was extremely kind and helpful while I was internally in panic mode. He walked me through battery choices and replaced my battery all in under 20 minutes. I still made it to class on time.
I am extremely appreciative of the help I got and I will certainly be back to this store.
Recently, I went to my home Advance Auto on Ogden in Naperville with a wiper problem. My wiper had broken off and wouldn't work. I always try to get Mike, the store manager, to help me as he has been terrific in helping me with my auto problems. This time he had the attachment for the wiper in a small stockpile. He then put it on for me as it was a little complicated and I was in a hurry. This is the second time he has had the attachment I needed for a broken wiper and put it on for me. I have appreciated this help as new wipers for my vehicle are very expensive. He could have sold me new wipers each time, but he was considerate and courteous enough to offer a solution with extra attachments, saving me a good sum of money. He also once put new wipers on for me in the pouring rain! Needless to say, he and Advance have earned my business for as long as I am in this area. I won't go anywhere else!
Service here is way beyond the expectations. They literally want to help the customers in finding the parts for their needs. They are not focused on selling anything to customers or to make them buy. Mike V is my favorite. First time when I visited few months ago, he gave the knowledge about the product and suggested me to choose the right product and helped me to fix work right parts, also pointed me to the right mechanic who is knowledgeable enough to use that product and fix the problem cheaper rather than replacing everything.
This store is my first Togo place for Mt auto parts.

Came in not knowing with certainty what I needed since OEM parts aren't always available unless from a specialty shop Mike and Tomm were very patient and helpful, giving recommendations where I clearly needed them. I had trouble logging into my account and seeing my frustration, they jumped in to offer me a store courtesy code. Super kind and not expected, but entirely appreciated!

Mike V was a godsend today. Mom's car had a dead battery and I drove it over to check it out once I had jumped it. Mike not only tested my battery but found me a new one and even installed it! Great guy and definetly a spot to stop if your in a pinch.

Placed an online order.. was ready within 30 min. At pick up I noticed I miss ordered an item.. local staff was friendly and flexible to return the 1 item and I bought the correct item( my miss order). This is the only location I use and the staff is always on top of things and friendly. Will keep going back unless I am out of town..
My kids left our dome light on in our car and the next day it was dead. AAA came out and jumped it but said the original battery only had 20% life left so I took it in to Advance Auto and they hooked me up with a Die Hard replacement. They even went out and replaced it in their parking lot for free. Great service and I was very happy I went there. I will be going here for all replacement parts in the future.
Good guys working there. It's your average big corporate parts store but at least they seem to go a little above and beyond. Usually have what I need in stock or seem to be able to get it relatively quickly. Prices are good and the staff is reasonably knowledgeable. Go here quite a bit. Give them a try
Good auto parts store overall. This location tends to have more parts I need in stock than the other locations. The hours are not as good as they used to be since covid, though.
