Most Auto Parts Stores just serve what you are asking for; Jack, the manager greeted me, listened to my inquiry, then "Professionally Interjected" that "Besides What Parts I was in for, I may check out an After Market Device to Remedy the Mfg's Fuel-Saving Design that cause engine problems like mine. I really appreciate that "extra mile" of service, to make this store a definite "keeper". I live closer to the Boughton Rd. Bolingbrook, IL. Store, but I prefer to drive that extra 10 miles, just to get to the Naperville Rt. 59 store, for parts, and great hands-on tips.

Just want to say that they are wonderful. I am very pleased. Every time I go in every time I call they go out of their way with great customer service hundred percent recommend to everyone Payton is a rockstar. We love him thank you so much and we will continue sharing with everybody about them with their excellent work.

820pm and they're closed. Ph first! So i give this store a 2nd try.... was a waste of my time ($72 part) 30min drive home later to find out it had already been used and returned becauseit was defective! What a bunch of BS! Don't try to resell defective items. I will report to corporate. Zero stars, avoid this location, I'm not the first to complain about the store closing early either.

8:58 and they locked the doors, needed specific coolant for VW that gas stations don’t have. Don’t advertise you’re open till 9 if you lock the doors 5 minutes early. 30 second transaction . To top it off, I was about to pull away and a guy who had been sitting in his car in parking lot when I pulled up, gets out of his car finally and turns out he’s the store keyholder and unlocks the door to go in. I say something about closing early, he just yells back and doesn’t try to remedy the situation.

Saul helped me out tremendously today! Helped me choose correct battery, installed it quickly, and helped identify other areas that needed to be tended to without even asking. What a pleasure it is to do business with someone with a smile on their face, and is eager to help and help to save me a lot of money by not needing to go to dealerships, etc.

It was 7:30 pm and I had a check engine light go on. All the auto repair shops were closed. I was about 30 miles from home. I went into Advance Auto Parts on Forgue Rd in Naperville to get a quart of oil in case I was low on oil. I had no idea where to pour it into, but Jaylene, who waited on me, was nice enough to go out into the rain and show me where to pour the oil into. He went above and beyond, with a smile and never complained. So appreciated his help! Great employee and a very nice young man.

I commend these guys on their excellent customer service. Frank the manager was patient with all my questions (and I had a lot). And he answered all my concerns and provided technical answers I needed to hear to validate parts needed. The technician by the name of Saul was also incredible with his customer service as well as Payton. Gentlemen, you are truly all appreciated and special thanks goes out to Frank the manager for making things happen. Went to the store for a new battery. On 3/10/24 The staff was really friendly and installed the new battery without question. Also tested alternator as a piece of mind. I will definitely continue shopping at this location as I am never disappointed with the knowledge, service, and kindness

The best customer service experience i’ve I’ve ever had at an auto parts store. Will be returning to this location.. Payton’s customer service was really helpful and actually offered a very helpful solution to defog my headlights, and it actually worked well! Im now an elite member at this store and it’s now my go-to-parts store.

First time I felt so unpleasant in the American store. I came here to buy a new battery and brought the old one. My English is not very good, but I'm sure it was enough for communication. Staff was disrespectful and unfriendly. I felt very uncomfortable here and will never come back. Plus, I've read on the website that I should receive a gift card for the old battery, but nobody even talked with me about it.

I was having issues with my head light. I asked a gentleman which one fit my car and bought the bulb. After getting home, I realized it wasnt the right bulb. When I went back the manager refused to take it back as it was opened. She kept saying it fit the car, even though I know it didn’t. It’s obvious they have performance metrics attached to returns. Plenty of other parts stores that pick the customer first.

Recently had my gas line cut. Frankie helped me solve my problem. Unfortunately, the part I needed wasn't available, and instead of just pointing me to the door, he took the time to dig deeper and find a solution. The solution worked perfectly. also allowing me to borrow tools to remove and fix the problem while still in the parking lot. I am forever grateful that Frankie took the time and made my terrible morning a very less stressful one. Thank you.

This location is amazing! Huge shout out to Frank who went above and beyond to help us out. Our van wouldn’t start, or hold a charge and we were just a mile away from the shop. He came to our house to jump our van so that he could test it to see what the issue was. We drove it to the shop after he jumped it for further testing. It was the alternator. He helped us research the best pricing options for our repairs and charged the battery enough so we could get it safely to our mechanic. This kind of service is hard to find and was refreshing. I highly recommend this location. Tell Frank Hi if you see him!

Frankie was super helpful in getting my battery replaced and getting me on my way. My car didn't start initially and he checked a few more things and helped me get it started so I could get to my mechanic. He definitely went above and beyond! Thanks Frankie!

Excellent customer service !! Very polite and very helpful staff, i walked in looking for a vacuum hose and while they didn't have any Payton not only gave me a location that was very close that had them in stock but also checked the back and had found some scrap hose that I could use. I had forgot all about my oil change and my light bulbs having to be replaced and even though Payton went out of his way go help me with the hose, he went above and beyond to help me find the right oil and oil filter for my car. Definitely more than satisfied with my visit and purchases today, I appreciate the help and will be a returning customer along with referring friends and family to this location.

I was in need of a car battery (or so I thought at the time), and the team was very helpful to confirming which battery I needed for my car. As I was being checked out, I was ordering an Uber back home, but Rich was so kind as to offer me a ride back. I have never had that experience before and thought it was one of the greatest customer service experiences ever.

I went into Advanced Auto on Rt 59 to trade in my faulty battery that I just purchased there a few months ago. I left the car running because I just got a jump start from a roadside service 30 minutes prior. I went in and the lady behind the counter said to turn the car off because they need to test out the battery. I asked her what would happen if it didn’t start again. She said we’ll just give you another jump. She said that she couldn’t test the battery because the terminals were a bit rusted. The car would not start after the test attempt. I was then told that their jumper kit was not working/charged. I asked the lady that if I bought a new battery, can you just install it? Her exact quote was.. “Oh I’m not going back out there in that cold. I can give you my cart and tools to do it yourself if you’d like.” Another employee named Reece heard the whole conversation of what happened to me and offered to change the battery if I buy a new one which I did do. Reece was very accommodating. He grabbed the cart, went outside and got it done in less than 10 minutes. Today was the coldest day of the year and he replaced my battery with a positive attitude and was very calm and cool with the situation. Outside while changing the battery he said “This is Chicago. This is what we do.” He turned my negative into an absolute positive 5 star experience. Reece thank you for helping me out on this frigid day and performing excellent quality customer service!! Hope you’re a manager one day!!

Outstanding Service. My work truck blew a fuse about a quarter mile from this location during rush hour. The police were behind me and said I had 10 minutes to fix it or they would call for a tow. I called the store and spoke with Payton the manager. Within 5 minutes Tyler was at my truck with the fuse! I was up and running again. They allowed me to follow them back to the store and pay for the fuse at that time! That is above and beyond in my book! Thank you to both Payton and Tyler! I highly recommend!

Excellent service and products! Payton was a huge help getting us a new battery in our car this weekend. Very knowledgeable and quick to get it installed for us. Super helpful and answered all our questions. The staff at advanced auto parts seriously saved the day and we can't thank them enough! We will definitely recommend them and be returning for all our automotive needs!

Jackie is INCREDIBLE!!! She helped me with a battery that was installed incorrectly by a mechanic, and she was great about explaining what had happened, what she was doing, and answering my questions (as I don’t know much about cars). I really couldn’t speak more highly of my experience there, and I’ll definitely be recommending this location to our friends and family in the area!

I went to this location on July 16th, 2021. The employees at this location are the overall best I've encountered at any auto parts store to date. They were both so helpful and friendly. It really made my day! I went there a bit frustrated because a kit I couldn't get a kit purchased on amazon to replace my windshield washer nozzles and hoses to work correctly, Between the two employees they help search their inventory in the front, back, and in their system, and were able to help me get the parts replaced with what they had in stock. I can finally use my windshield washer fluid again. I usually feel like I get better deals online and search various websites to get the best deal. But it's nice to be able to try parts in the parking lot knowing that if it doesn't work, you can just bring it right back inside. Many thanks to the employees at this store! Keep up the good work!

I want to thank Jacob for assisting me when I had my flat front tire. It was a cold night and he jumped into action to assist me as I was searching for an air pump for hours. I really appreciate the level of customer service he brought in assisting me. Would highly recommend purchasing goods and services from this location.

Extremely helpful employee named Noel answered all of my questions clearly and with honesty. He even came running out of the store when he discovered the power steering fluid I bought wouldn’t work for my car. Prices were also very reasonable. I will not be going anywhere else for my auto care needs.

The staff is typically friendly and very helpful. The store feature a big variety of do it yourself car items from batteries to motor oil, brake parts and cleaning supplies. I never had an issue at any of their stores. They have numerous locations in the area and I was able to pick up a battery at one location and returned the old one at a different one and received the refund without issues.

I needed a new battery. They changed my old battery out in the dark (and it was cold) gave me back a refund for the old core and sent me on my way. I have a 2 year replacement on the battery!

The guys here are always SUPER helpful!!! They've changed my battery, helped me figure out my heater problem was simply due to low coolant, and have been able to tell me why my service engine light was on. Time and time again, they've been life savers and have been able to get me some of the best deals around! I'm so happy they are like my neighbors!
