From the moment I walked into the store oh my gosh, I felt so relieved that I would have a working phone that day. Timothy was so informative. Timothy serviced me for a broken phone repair, I made a SAME DAY APPOINTMENT. Timothy not only awaiting my appointment but repaired my phone and he educated me about some concerns I had on another broken phone that he also repaired and he saved me $300 hooked a sista up! lol This will definitely be my go to for batteries and electronics. I was happy to spend my money at this store. Go ahead.... add a tip jar in the store :-)

WOW another great experience with Batteries Plus on Ogden in Naperville. Have an older cell phone that constantly needs recharging but I didn't want to buy a new phone. Went in there and spoke to Kristin and Tim. They checked to see if they had the battery I needed and then for any sales or discounts. Found the battery at a different Batteries Plus store. They both offered suggestions and advice especially in regards to saving money/hassle. A few hours later I had a brand new battery for my phone, neatly installed. Two very kind people and a great business. Have been here before for watch battery and carfob battery.

My Neuton battery-powered lawn mower had not been used for several years. The batteries were dead and would not take a charge. In a phone call to the Neuton company I was toId that replacement batteries were not available from them or anywhere else, so the mower was essentially useless. Not being willing to accept this as the final answer, I took the battery case to Naperville Batteries Plus where I was helped by Elizabeth. She immediately knew how to remove the front plate from the case remove and test the batteries; they were indeed dead. She identified and found the correct replacement Duracell battery in their stock. She removed the dead batteries, inserted the new ones and tested them before reattaching the front plate to the case. Elizabeth was knowledgeable and very patient in her explanation of the process. She deserves an A+ for her impressive customer service.

Timothy Dziadus help me fix my sump pump battery. Originally I was supposed to pay $500 to get the entire thing fixed (new battery, and new sump pump). He showed me by adding water to the battery, that I can make it run like new. He even patiently spent 45 minutes with me, diagnosing the problem and running all sorts of test to make sure the battery is working, as well as servicing the battery. I really appreciate him saving me all this money and him patiently spending a good part of his day to explain this to me. Thank you so much, Timothy!

Do not purchase car battery from battery plus , it only last 3 years and i having issue in my car , my warranty just got expired few months ago , i would suggest go another place but not battery plus . Called in but they dont want to help on this and try to sell another battery i am like no way , your company battery last only 3 years cant waste money

Staff just moved into a new location. Here looks very clean. And looks like they are trying their best to organize as fast as they can. They offer wonderful services as far as watch. Battery replacements, key fob replacements and other different battery replacements. Come on in with your issues and they should be able to help you out.! Jay and Tim are wonderful!

Timothy D was not helpful at all. I came to get my screen replaced and drove 45 minutes to the store just for him to tell me he does not have my part in stock. He then proceeded to lie and tell me he called me once but had not called me at all and told me my voicemail box was not set up when it was. He just took the lazy way out and did not want to do his job. He spoke horribly to my mother and I and was yelling at us in the store. He was not a nice guy and I had to file my claim at another store because he was not acting properly. After asking who we can speak to about this matter he refused to give us the store owners name and number and said he was the one who is in charge. Please be weary if you go to this store as he does not want to fully do his job or treat his customers well.

Ordered the battery that I needed online and then went to the store to pick it up. Tim the manager pulled up my order and informed me that he could further discount the price of my order and proceeded to take an additional 15% off. He was very helpful and courteous. I will be returning for my next battery purchase. This store has every type of battery you need. I highly recommend them.

Great Service! Having a spare car key made. I had tried a key maker advertised in my church bulletin...he doesn't do car keys. I called the Honda dealership...$285.00. I was told that Batteries Plus does car keys. At $125, I hitched my 2010 Honda up and got to the store on Ogden Ave, Naperville, was taken immediately, no waiting other than the 1/2 hour to make the key. The set-up on the key making machine is critical since if not done right could freeze the car from being started at all! John Rhoads

Great place for your battery needs, I love the fact that I can get a battery for my watches, or anything else that needs a battery. The store manager Tim is excellent in interacting with you as a customer, that makes him a phenomenal asset to this business. I highly suggest you stop at this facility before considering to stop anywhere else. Thanks Tim for exemplifying, what we as customers want, exceptional service.

Got iPhone 11 screen replacement on June, screen was not in good quality, dropped once on Aug and it cracked , screen went dark no longer worked. I missed old iPhone’s original screen, even I dropped multiple times with case and still useable. Not recommended this place.

Went today with a large buildup of batteries that were low or not working properly on my car remotes. The associate worked very carefully and with great care to replace all of them. Glad the store has such a great service option and knowledgeable staff that can make sure you leave with what you need taken care of. Great batteries selection on hand as well as cool lighting options for bulbs, flashlights and an overall great experience and value.

Life saver! Needed to replace a battery for our kid toy car on wheel, couldn’t find anything online or reasonable priced Even amazon doesn’t carry it and the one vendor do not do two days shipping with amazon will be like 2+ weeks But we cant wait any longer So glad they have in stock here! Came here, the manager was on duty, helped me to locate the battery quickly Paid, got me out the door in two min! So pleas with the product and how friendly of the place! The place do look empty….

DONT SUPPORT! I went in to get my screen fixed and he promised a time and price. Not only did it take a hour over promised ( would be fine if they were busy) but when I got it back my rear camera and flashlight were no longer working, I stated that before leaving and Mark told me he would fix it for free the following day verbally and in writing . I get a call 8am next day, saying his boss told him he can’t fix it as PROMISED and I can come in and pay for a new camera. Sound like a scam and more than that HORRIBLE business. I’d save your time and money.

EDIT FROM PREVIOUS POST (below): I could not be more impressed at how diligently John and his crew worked with me to resolve the issue to my satisfaction. After another trip to the store, they were able to try the repair with another screen- at no further cost to me- and make my phone "like new" again. I truly appreciate their communication and commitment. --- I stopped by Batteries Plus a week ago, with a cracked iphone screen. They replaced it, but- when I got home- I then realized that it no longer "woke up" the phone on a tap... and the screen didn't recognize my touch on the lower corners of the screen. I received a survey and filled it out honestly- and the owner replied to have me come in and get it looked at so that the issue could be resolved. I stopped by the following Saturday morning, left my phone for a few hours, and the technician replaced the screen. Everyone I've dealt with throughout this process has been very helpful and easy to work with... HOWEVER, the Tap-to-Wake on my phone is still not working, either is sliding/selecting from a lower corner of the screen. The technician told me "that's just the way it is" with these parts... Although I am dissatisfied, I understand that my sign-off on the work likely indicates a refund is not available. My frustration is that I am now considering going to apple for a genuine part/repair (at further cost to me)- as I would like full functionality restored to my phone. My hope for Batteries Plus is that they would notify customers moving forward that the aftermarket screen is not a genuine apple product and some functionality may be limited.

My boyfriend suggeted this company because of their great service so i decided to try them out to get my key fob a new battery. An awesme older guy named CHUCK was amazingly helpful! It really did only take 5-10 min for a new battery! With the lifetime warranty it was only $24!!!!! Omg i did not expect it to be that cheap with the warranty! So i said "yeah why not?" I am beyond satisfied with my first time visit!!!! I Highly recommend this place too!!!

The guy working was super helpful and also very nice. I went to change out my battery on my garage opener. He did ask if I wanted him to change it for me and was able to do so very quickly. He also showed me how to do it while explaining each step so I know how to do this on my own for the future.

I was recommend to try Batteries + Bulbs by a friend who purchased his motorcycle battery there. He did have an issue with his first battery or more likely with his bike causing the issue. Well he brought it back as it had a 24 month garranty and a no hassle replacement was provided. My experience at the store was friendly and professional. I HIGHLY recommend giving this place a try for your needs.. there is more than just batteries and bulbs there too which surprised me..

The initial screen repair was fast and I was happy until I used the iPhone. Since that repair, my iPhone replacement screen was too sensitive and kept activating things that were not pressed. I called to ask what they could do and they said they'd have to get another screen from a different store. They told me they would call me back to arrange to replace it, but I haven't heard from them in three days! Batteries Plus called me. Joe took care of the issue gracefully. They fixed the phone and it is now functioning properly. They did it quickly and effectively. One hour turn around. Thank you for taking care of the problem. I would now return to this merchant for more service in the future and am changing my initial rating.

I called your store on this past Wednesday, the 21st, at about 6:45pm. I needed a CAR BATTERY installed and a battery for my key fob immediately. I politely asked the employee to stay open an extra 15 minutes, and only 15 minutes, explaining my current situation but he proceeded to say no. I told him it was urgent and I needed the service immediately as the emergency was the car will not start if I turn it off again. Despite this, he told me no again. I told him I'd leave him and the store a great review and he still insisted on saying no. He rambled on about the budget and apologized but continued to deny my request and showed no interest or wouldn't even listen to the urgency and emergency of my issue. I'm a co-owner of a small business in Naperville, as well as managed a UPS Store in West Chicago for a number of years and understand the nuances of running a small business and budgeting/finances/hourly employees. I ran this gym through covid and unlike many small businesses, especially gyms, I made it through it and am beginning to both profit and return to progressing towards my business plan goals once more. So, unless this guy makes over a hundred dollars a hour, he is costing you more money with the sale you lost out on as well as my future business. Additionally, as a gym in the local community if anyone who asks for services from a store such as yours or I speak to will no doubt hear about your customer service and my poor experience with your store. Whatever the reason for this poor service and business practice, like maybe he was feeling too lazy and just didn't want to install a battery? Because, my request was within reason for an emergency situation. Regardless of the why, it was an overall terrible representation of your business and customer service.

I used to love this location . The guy that is usually there is gone now.he was very easy to deal with and always tried to sell something but did it in a friendly manner . I went there two weeks ago Needed help with a projector bulb and needed batteries for my Garman. . The guy was unhelpful and not very interested in helping me . The atmosphere was totally different . It just ain't the same . I'll still shop there but not like I used to. I don't know what you did with the other guy but hopefully he still works here . He made shopping at batteries plus fun and was always trying to help. . Not complaining but a noticeable difference . .

Ralph at Naperville location was very courteous and provided great customer service. He was very helpful in fixing the problem with my phone and now it charges very well without any problems. When entering the store, Ralph welcomed me and let me know he would be with me in just a minute as he was finishing up with another customer at the register. He completed the transaction and thanked the customer for their business. Then he promptly came to me and asked how he could help. I showed him the battery that I was looking for and he was able to take me directly to it on the shelf. He asked if I had any other needs and I said no. He politely asked if he could tell me about some great deals on light bulbs. I remembered that we were running low and thought it might be a good idea to grab some. He saved me over $6.00 with the instant rebate.

The person at the front desk was extremely helpful. He quickly installed the battery to my garage door opener and directed me to AA batteries on sale which I had also purchased. He was very polite, knowledgeable, and overall easy transaction! Will highly recommend this location!!!

What a fantastic experience. My girlfriend and I had left our chargers at home and we're off on vacation and we called Batteries Plus hoping for some help. We spoke with Ralph who was quick to answer our questions and provide detailed recommendations. We were in and out quickly thanks to his service. He was amazing!

If I could give zero stars, I would. An awful store with terrible customer service. I went to the store 2 weeks ago wanting to buy a marine battery. The shelve was empty but they said their shipments were coming in on Thursdays and I should check back on a Friday. Came back in Friday - no battery. Talked to the store manager and he said to insure a battery, I would need to place an order. I did that (had to prepay for the order to be placed). The manager said it would be there in ‘a couple of days’. A whole week passed with no call back from the store. I called on a Thursday and they said my battery ‘might’ be in the shipment. Did not hear back for the rest of the day. Went into the store the next day (Friday) and there was no battery. They said they had no idea when the battery would arrive. So they took my order knowing full well that they had no idea when I could get my merchandise. I cancelled the order. Not sure how you can run a business this way, but I’ll never be back and if you need to order something - I’d stay away from this place.

I have used this location to get my car key battery replaced numerous times and never had an issue. I tried taking my husbands car key in to have the same thing done and had a terrible experience. The guy that helped me was really friendly and nice but was juggling a lot of customers himself. He came out at one point and said he couldn’t replace my battery and instead had to take it to the car dealer to be done. No problem...I figured at least I tried, right? But then he told me he had to put my key back together and instead started helping other customers. After 10 minutes or so I asked how much longer it would be. He explained that he had to heat “weld” it back together. Ummm, what?! Still at this point I said nothing and waited. Another employee came out of the back and started helping the next customer waiting. That employee started arguing with the customer about what was wrong with his drill battery. It was extremely uncomfortable and I felt bad for that customer. Anyways, the guy came back with my car key and I was shocked...it looked like it was ripped open and hot glued back together! So annoyed and honestly probably won’t be back based on this experience.
