My car was stuck on the 5th floor of a retail parking garage during Labor Day weekend. The battery was fine, but it appeared the starter was shot. I called around to find a towing company who could transport my car to a local Firestone for service and not charge me an unrealistic price. After making some calls to other companies who were not impressive, I made arrangements with NAR Towing to meet me the next morning. Josh arrived 15 minutes early and called me to say the clearance of the entry to the parking garage was 8” too low to get into. He took the elevator to the 5th floor, where I was waiting and he checked the starter to confirm the problem. He made a call and decided to push the car out of the spot and got behind the wheel and alternately coasted and manually pushed the car throughout the journey to the ground level. He drove the truck around, hooked up the car and took it to Firestone, some 5 miles away. I am sure that wasn’t what he had in mind when he started his day, but he made it work.

I don’t like writing reviews but this towing company; made my day. They rock! My car starter was dead but their experience with customer service was top tier.
10/10, shoutout to Bob for above and beyond service! I had to get my car towed from one shop to another due to a simple fix the first shop couldn’t fit me in for. They tried charging me a diagnostic fee even though they never looked at the car, and refused to turn over the keys! Bob went toe to toe for me as I wasn’t on the premises, took care of everything, and even called to recommend me another shop in the area that’s trustworthy and reliable!
The worst tow truck service I've ever known. And no, I'm not exaggerating. Prices are changed and they charge you extra fees if you ask too much questions or make them lose patience by simply asking things that they should explain to you. I particularly lived a situation in which they yelled at me and treated me badly not only, but among themselves they shouted in front of me regardless of whether I was a client witnessing all that. Bad attention, very rude and take advantage of the situation, if you call the police they will only tell you that they can't do anything because it's private property and they can't handle the owner's prices. A waste of time, patience and money to go to this place

We scheduled a tow with this company for a specific time. At first, everything seemed fine, but then the men kept delaying — first saying he’d be there in 20 minutes, then 30, then another 20. It went on and on. In the end, he showed up 3 hours late! Completely unprofessional and unreliable. Absolutely no respect for the customer’s time.
I do not recommend this company to anyone.
Went twice to have no one at the window. Also no where in there facilities stating cash only. Also very unprofessional to ask if I was arrested by the agent and I have never been. Mike was cool and went over everything
Horrible! Was told my wait would be 1 -2 hours which led to waiting over 7 hours until I called Moe's towing service instead. Was told other calls came after mine and apparently I was not a priority in the line up for $450 tow! I requested a discount for making me wait and was also denied that. Moe's jumped to my rescue in less than 30 minutes.
Never a good day if it involves a tow truck, but their service was good. I forgot the name of the driver that helped me with my Jeep, but he was really good to work with.
If I could give this a zero star I would... I went through my insurance company and they dispatch n.a.r towing llc.. I called them around 1p.m. and they never showed up.. then it said it will be to me at 4:15 to 5:15... never showed up... called the dispatch number because the number they provided for the driver was disconnected... she tells me he will be to me in 30 mins... never showed up. On Thursday (12/26/2024) my car was hit by another car. Police issued a citation to other driver, and give me the NAR Towing business card to me, told me to call them to retrieve my personal items. When I called them next day, they told me that I have to let insurance to call them first before I can get my personal items from my car, even I have filed the claim and it's being processed, cannot get real person answer the call. But after I explained all those, the NAR Towing guy just reply "I don't care, you have to let insurance contact us...", and very rudely hang up.
recently about 3 weeks ago I had an accident in which I was not at fault and I did not know the process of moving my car so the police called this towing company, to pick up my car and they went to a place, where days later exactly 3 days later, I called and they told me that they would charge me $385 so I accepted and went to pick up my car that day my tow truck had a problem and I could not go that day but the next day i went and the person who attended me (apparently the owner) received me in a very unpleasant way. received me in a nasty way and gave me a terrible attention and even aggressive when I asked him what he was charging me since he increased from $385 to $465 I was in my right to know for what reason, I had the right to know why, so this person continued to raise his voice in a violent manner and then ended up charging me $590 only because of his anger so I proceeded to call the police. Beside that they lost my car keys so I do not recommend this place, very bad attention, violent and aggressive people and they steal your money.
Bob is quite literally the best ever! He literally knows everything and saved me thousands of dollars! Words can’t explain how grateful I am for Bob. Yes, they’re a tow company, but Bob is so knowledgeable and saved me big time. Bob should get a major raise!
Teach your truck drivers how to drive. Speeding, cutting off and jumping lanes in rain conditions. Aggressive and dangerous to be on the road. Almost ran my car off the road in a 35 mil/h zone. Do better
I called tonight to get my daughter's car towed after she had waited for three hours for another towing service to arrive. The gentleman I spoke with started right out to help her. A few minutes later, the first tow truck arrived so I called back to cancel. N.A.R. said he was 2 minutes away. I wish we had called them first. I appreciate their prompt response to help my daughter.
I had a terrible experience with NAR Towing recently. They towed my car wrongfully, and to make matters worse, they stole my catalytic converter. I trusted them to handle my vehicle properly, but instead, they took advantage of the situation. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, and I would strongly advise others to avoid using their services.

He went out of his way to recommend the next steps for resolution for my vehicle which saved me a tremendous amount of time and resources. I am truly appreciative of DJ going out of his way to give me advice to help me resolve my car issue and I am truly grateful. I initially had it towed to one location but found out in mid tow that it needed to go to another location and when I reached out he immediately made the switch and got it to the updated destination with great timeliness and professionalism. Matt with NAR Towing was very professional, communicative, and prompt. As soon as he was assigned to towing our car, he called to let us know when he would arrive. He also sent a text with a picture to verify that he had dropped it off at the proper location. He was helpful and kind which helped make the situation less stressful for us. Hardly anyone is happy to call for a tow, but NAR makes it easier. I called to schedule a tow, the dispatcher was thorough to confirm information and answer questions. The tow truck driver Matt called to say he is on the way. He arrived punctually and was very professional. He effortlessly placed the car exactly where I needed it to go (a tight narrow space). Great service. Will use them again if in need.

I called Maserati Roadside and they put me in contact with NAR towing. Josh, from the towing company, reached out to me in less than 10 minutes. Even though there was a small miscommunication with Maserati Roadside, Josh called me and asked my location and said he was on his way. He arrived in less than 30 minutes, and stayed in constant contact with me. Once he delivered my car to the dealership, he communicated the car was at the dealership and thanked me for my business. He was prompt, professional and the communication was excellent! He saved this stranded girl who was freezing! Thanks Josh!
Josh was able to tow my recovered, stolen vehicle to the dealership while I was out of town. He got my car towed to the location I needed it in the same day I requested his help. He called me to let me know when he was picking up my car and texted me status updates along the way. He even scanned and emailed me the documents once he completed the trip. N.A.R. are the best! By far the best service and experience I’ve had with an unexpected auto issue on the road. The person that responded to tow my truck was the nicest guy, funny and super quick with his work! He gave me a ride to the shop and made me feel at ease. I’m keeping their number in my phone for the next time I get stuck on the road… whenever that may be.
I had Micah tow my vehicle from Batavia to Aurora. Not only did he beat me to the pick up location, but he was very courteous and waited patiently while I purchased the vehicle. He was very patient and not pushy at all. When he dropped the vehicle off at my house he asked if I wanted to have him drop it in my garage, but since there was a mess i had him drop it in the driveway. The company was also awesome, when I called dispatch was considerate and polite, they gave me a flat rate over the phone and they dispatched the driver right away. I give this company 2 thumbs up, as I have zero complaints. Great job!!!
Couldn’t have asked for a better tow! With my vehicle being only about an inch off the ground it’s not an easy car to tow but Matt managed to do it with ease. Came at the exact time he said he would and put my car on the bed within 10 minutes without any issues. The price was also great compared to other towing companies. Will definitely be using this company if I ever need a tow again!
