This is an amazing bar and Grill. The atmosphere is splendid. Plenty of seating. The wings were just amazing. One of my favorite wing spots. They could use more or larger restrooms. Other than that, I highly recommend.
Can’t say enough good things about the Smokehouse selections. The pork steak is the best I have ever had. It is exceptional, and far better than many bigger well known establishments. The wings are always good as well. Danny does a great job as a server. We always try to get seated where he is. He’s friendly, he keeps glasses filled, and makes great recommendations.
Love the food normally but stepped out of my normal order to try the smoked brisket sandwich. I can only assume it was sliced and cooked in a suvie and tossed on a smoker on high smoke. Sent 1/2 of it to the trash. Would've done one star for that but I normally like the food
This is a quaint place. The food menu offers bistro style cafe food that includes appetizers, chili, salads, sandwiches, entrees, and more. The full bar additionally offers draught beer and wine.
The atmosphere is casual, cozy, and the televisions offer the latest sports games to watch.
We ordered extra chicken on our salads, but the kitchen staff messed up the order. However, our waitress Ashley was quick to remedy the mix-up and brought us the extra chicken on the side. She was great.
This restaurant is a good location for a dinner out on the town.
Tacos on Tuesday-Very good value. And pretty good tasting.
One of the few places you can order a grilled chicken breast (no bun) and it actually has flavor.

Take out order but the atmosphere seemed fine. There was a price discrepancy for one order,(online prices are not honored.)The person helping me just shrugged. $100 on food that half had to be thrown out. freezer burned wings, fries that were over or under cooked, none of the sandwiches had correct add ons but were edible, fried mushrooms are gritty because too much cornmeal. Buffalo sauce and ranch tasted okay. Maybe they do better if you dine in, I don't think I'll find out though.
I ate at this restaurant a few times and never had any complaints. Tonight I ordered take out and it was a whole different experience. I ordered 3 adult meals and 1 kid meal it it was $50. My spicy chicken club sandwich was what appeared to be a frozen chicken patty that you could get at Walmart. The chicken finger basket was the exact same as the kids chicken fingers with one more piece of chicken and it cost $5 more. They were also really small chicken fingers. All of our meals had about 10 French fries in there and they were COLD. I get takeout is not gonna be as fresh as eating at the restaurant, but these tasted like they have been sitting a while. What I ordered tonight was not worth the money. You may be better off eating there than getting take out.
Had lunch there on a Monday around 1 and not busy at all. Service was fast and all the food was really good. Lot of beer choices would definitely go back.
2023: Flanagan's is our favorite restaurant in town. It can be busy on Friday nights and weekends, it can get loud outside on the patio, but it's always been worth it to us. The food is consistantly excellent and we carry out often.
I was disappointed during covid when masks weren't worn, but in Highland a lot of people thought we were in an untouchable bubble or that it wasn't a big deal.
2018: ate there recently and the food was even better than I remembered! They have a large menu and their spinach dip was some of the best I've had! The patio and outside stage have made this great restaurant/bar even better!
Visiting from out of town and wanted a place to watch the Nuggets game. We stopped in and Dani(sp?) immediately put it on for us! He was super friendly and really went above and beyond for our group. The customer service was great and our appetizers were delicious! Highly recommend and will definitely go back next time we are in town.
Had a few lovely meals here and, it was a blast every time. Way above expectation food and drinks and service and the facilities are very cool too. Hope to see y'all again soon.
First I would like to say, I LOVE their food, especially their wings.
But, I used to be able to call and order my food, 20 minutes later pick it up, & it was ready. It was quick, convenient, easy, and delicious.
The last 7 times we have gone though; let me share what has happened the last 7 times though.
First of all, they have the online ordering on their website. One night, I placed our order on the app and paid on the app. 20 minutes later, I went to pick up our food like usual. They said they were busy so they turned the app off, but I could place my order there. I did and it was a 45 minute wait for all fried food (2 orders of wings & mozzarella sticks).
After that incident, I went back to calling, but, every time I have called for the last SIX times, my call either doesn’t go through, or they put me on hold and forget that I am on the phone. I have mentioned this issue to them before, I told them that I tried to call, but kept getting the busy signal and they laughed when they realized they have had the phone off the line all evening (probably forgot they had someone on hold).
The last 4 times I have gone, the wait has been over an hour for our same order.
Last night, they were not full. Maybe half full and had about 6 waitresses. Our waitress came to our table twice. Once to get our order and once to give us our food. There was a lot of standing around being done by the waitresses, mixing up their own drinks, etc.
Maybe they’re short staffed in the kitchen?
If they didn’t offer online ordering or pickup, we would probably still go there for dinner, but when we plan on calling ahead and picking up a meal, we expect the order to actually be taken. If they don’t have enough staff to offer these services, then they need to take these services off of their website for the time being.
EL FLANAGANS DOES NOT OFFER ONLINE ORDERING OR PICKUP- if you want to do these, expect your order to not go through or an hour+ wait.
Good burger and fries. Ordered the "bacon bacon" burger that was supposed to be loaded, but burger only had 2 small pieces. At least they were cooked well unlike some places that give you fatty hall raw bacon. Service was good. About 25 minutes for food
Had got the there famous wings. I went with mild and they were really good. Met my daughter and her husband for dinner. Nice place to go have dinner if you don't mind it's a bar also
Short staffed like everywhere. I think the girl forgot our drinks, didn't get then until right before we got our app. Mushroom swiss burger was blah, topped with some brown packet tasting gravy. Spinach artichoke dip was so so, but the chips they fried were way to greasy and over cooked Service was as good as to be expected with being short. Food was average.
Went there today for a late lunch with my wife. I ordered a hamburger with bacon and cheese. It was the worst hamburger I 've ever had in my many years of dining out and the food was way overpriced for the quality. The waitress was very slow and I had hunt her down to get my check. Last time I will go back. Food quality and service has deteriorated.

The food was good, really good. The service was also good. My only problem was that the customers did not practice social distancing or even look like they thought it was a good idea to have a mask on. This is Madison County, is it not? We ate and left ASAP. I will go back, but may wait until the world is ready for normalcy. I hope they're still there...
I hardly ever write reviews but this place hands down has the best food around. the hot wing burger is a must try. Our waitress Jenna was the best waitress we've ever had. the environment was very friendly.
I stopped in this place while driving through this town. My husband ordered an IPA and I went light with a summer shandy (middle of summer). Both beers were warm. The waitress was very polite and said they would look onto it. I thought maybe it was a fluke for one of the beers, but was surprised that they both were luke warm, gross.
We started off with fried pickles and armadillo eggs, both were very tasty! I then ordered the dry rubbed hot wings, but I really wanted a sampling of the different flavored wings. I ended up ordering a side of buffalo, ranch, and a side of sweet chili to dip my wings in to try. ALL of them were amazing! I love how crispy the wings are here, by far the best I've had! There was so much food!
My daughter ordered mac and cheese and she loved hers as well.
The only reason I gave four stars was because of the warm beer. We definitely wanted to stay for a little bit and have another drink if they would have been even slightly cold.

This visit was for a birthday. Food was good. I got boneless wings. 2 other friends got their Summer Salad.... it looked amazing. The next day i had to order a pickup on the salad just bc i wished i had tried it that night. It was veryyyyy good.
Delicious food. Friendly staff. The place shows support for the local area sports and teams. Perfect place to catch any sports game. Not to mention a pretty good spot to hear some live music. Fun for the family or good enough for a night out for the 2 of you in this town.
Great food and amazing atmosphere. If you wanna have a ton of fun, go see why "Everybody Loves" Flanagan's! Bands play inside or out, volleyball court, indoor/ outdoor bars, and the staff treats the guest(s) like family!
Definitely my favorite place! The kids love it too! Very kid friendly establishment, too.
I know I'll be back!
The music is great and we're lucky that they're playing outside. We had dinner the 'Pig Wings' and Fry's smothered in Sweet Baby Ray's. Recommend highly.
