After being bled dry from an Auto Dealership, I found Horchers. They not only were able to patiently describe the issue, but fixed it promptly. This was years ago and I have never looked back for another auto service. Honesty and Integrity perfectly describe Horchers and the service they provide.

It was very easy to schedule service for my Subaru. Price was quoted before work began and I was pleased with the amount. When I dropped off my car THEY OFFERED TO DRIVE ME HOME. This was not expected! Repair was completed hours later as promised. I’ll definitely be back in the future.

Professional, straight-forward, and exemplary service from this shop! I have a few company fleet vehicles that I bring here for service work from International and Kenworth straight trucks to smaller GM models. The communication from Bob and Herb here is top-notch.

What a surprising and pleasurable experience. Amazing customer service and communication. I had a few things that needed to be taken care of on my car and now it drives like new. But what really impressed me was the communication. They called multiple times to keep me updated on the progress of my car and also took the time to explain what was going on. They also had a loaner car available so I could still get around. I really don’t take time to write reviews but I was really pleased with the entire experience. I would recommend Horcher’s service to anyone.

Our car was overheating so we stopped in late Friday afternoon. Even though they were closing soon and booked, they were willing take a quick look at the car and hosed down the car to clear out the radiator for us.

I took my 1997 Ford F-350 diesel to this shop and they took great care of me. I became a regular customer, so I got to know them pretty well. A very professional group of fellows who know their stuff about automotive and diesel. They make sure the job is done right before returning the vehicle to you (with a warranty on parts & labor). I highly recommend this shop!
When Checkpoint Tires closed shop they sent me to Horcher's where they said I would get reliable and honest service. That's important to me because women are often taken advantage of at repair shops. I did get honest and reliable. In fact, they went above and beyond by running my vehicle through the AirTeam testing lanes to make sure the original issue would not cause another failure. They are my new go-to guys.
I was traveling when my vehicle broke down. Horcher's was the closest shop. I was told up front they wouldn't be able to look at my vehicle until about 3 days. They got me in contact with enterprise (with a nice rate), Serviced my vehicle 3 days later and I was back in my Jeep. Thanks for being honest up front and fair on the pricing. Top notch people!
Great guys! Herb was very professional and helpful. Bob is just one of the best guy I know. Very trust worthy. My Toyota Highlander is running and driving great. The only place I would go in the Wheeling, Il. area.
Really great guys, I've had many experiences with other companies who nickel and dimed me, and made easy situations weird and difficult.
However A Horchers was fantastic!! I had a super easy experience and felt like they really wanted to take care of me, my family and the current situation I was in.

Needed a tail light replaced, Bob went out of his way to drive and get that bulb and Josh did outstanding job of installing bulb. Will definitely go back if I have car issues. They make you feel part of Family!!
Horcher's is one of the best auto shops I ever visited. I needed to replace my lawn tractor tire, was able to put it on the rim myself but could not seal bead. I came to Horcher's for help and even they did not have special tools to seal bead of that small and very stiff tire, they tried their best. They managed to get it inflated despite it took them several attempts, but they did not give up. I would also like to add that before going to Horcher's I tried several other auto stores and none of them would even offer to help me. I would definitely go to Horcher's again for any auto needs.
We came all the way from NY , and had some problems with our car. So I called these guys . We've been helped out right away ,even though they were booked for today. I wish we had more people like this in NY! Honest and helpful!! Thank you!
