Sam was great !!!....tested my battery and alternator with a new machine ...everything was good ...always a delight to see these great group of guys at this store
I came to O’Reilly to replace my car battery and Ronnie was extremely helpful. He took care of the replacement and he was also so friendly if you’re having issues I definitely recommend going to this O’Reilly location!
I want to give a big shout-out to RONNIE at 38 E Golf Road in Schaumburg for going above and beyond. He didn't just help me find the right air filters---he actually took the time to help install them which I REALLY appreciated. He was friendly, VERY knowledgeable and made what could've been a frustrating disaster for this senior older lady and made the experience quick and easy. Just order online. I was the only customer in the store, with wiper blades in hands waiting in front of the counters, but no urgency to ring me up. One associate went to the back, one was just on the computer, the other was on the phone.
But thankfully they did because I found each wiper $20 cheaper on Amazon as I walked out!
I stopped at this location on Sunday Feb.25th because my service engine soon light popped on, I went in and asked for them to scan the code, one of the workers gave me the scan and told me to do it, then when I came back in, he asked me what was the code then proceeded to look through his phone for the code, all the years of me driving and going to these auto parts stores have I seen this done, they normally go out to your car with you, plug the scan in, after it reads they take it back in the store plug it in the computer and the computer prints the customer a copy, I asked him why did he do it this way, he couldn’t give me a reasonable explanation like our computer is not working so we are using the phones, don’t know if it was from laziness or some underlying reason so I left out and drove to AutoZone and they did it correctly how it was supposed to be done, I will be contacting their corporate office in the morning
I believe this store deserve 5 star rating. I had my car’s low beam bulb failed. I also wanted to get the high beam bulbs checked so that I could get all replaced for my Prius if necessary. I called the store and the gentleman told he will take a look if I stop by. I drove to the store and parked my car in the lot infront of the store. In a minute that elder gentleman already there and he checked the bulbs. One of them got fused, but he can’t replace it as its deep inside so has to be by the mechanic. He was so helpful and courteous answered all my questions. I would love to go to this store for any future auto part needs and recommend this store to all without any reservations.
Just an FYI Mike no longer works at the store he changed the atmosphere of retail experience the district manager doesn't know how to handle business in any of his stores do not shop here the crew has been great without their leader in place it's going south take your business elsewhere rondel is the worst in that location so if u want bad service shop here
The new store manager Mike has really changed things around. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and even helped me put a wiper blade on without me even asking.
I bought everything for my car. Battery, fluids. They tested for you the battery life. The service is wonderful, and the inventory is great. If you need something for your car, stop in this store is amazing. Thank you for helping the community.
Bad customer service from Rundal. I asked for a discount which i was able to get it at another store of O'Reilly' Auto parts same day. He couldn't do anything understandable, so i asked him if he can call the manager Miguel and ask him like the other store located in Schaumburg did for me . He refused to call him telling me it's not an emergency being very rude talking with bad attitude. He even told me take it or leave it and asked for the next customer and left me over there standing. We all go through hard times, the least he could do was being nice and asking the manager. I felt bad for asking for a discount by the way he treated me. Im hopping it was just a bad day for him and he wasn't being racist or judging me. Never had that kind of customer service in my life.
These days we're there more for wiper blades and air filters. They have a few different brands, but not always the sizes we need. Still the employees are always very helpful and friendly.
We needed a power steering pump and pulley for our '99 Corolla. No one had it in stock. Couldn't even get one from the Toyota dealer. Called O'Reilly's and was told if you ordered it online you might be able to get it faster. We went to their website, and they had the pump and pulley together for over $100 less than buying them separately. Ordered it that evening and it was at my front door by 12:30pm the next day! Free shipping and a 10% discount by ordering online. Amazing! Their staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely where I'll be buying my parts!
Came in for an emergency battery replacement, and Johnathan did an amazing and fantastic job at replacing and helping our car out. Highly recommend this location and props to Johnathan for doing an outstanding job and helping me out at almost closing time. Highly recommend
Ignacio and his co-worker were awesome. I came in with a CEL during rush hour, far from home with 4 daughters in tow. Out came the scan tool, luckily it was misfire in cylinder 1. They handed over a socket wrench so I could swap a plug. Misfire code is gone and she’s purring like a kitten again.
Had an unfortunate accident on the way into town and needed some minor repair items to get us by. Miguel went above and beyond being helpful and ensuring we were ok. Highly recommend this location. Staff is amazing!!
Went in to pick up towels. Very slow, i was the only customer in there. The only guy they had upfront was on the phone taking an order and didnt acknowledge me the entire 5 minutes i was waiting in front of him. Didnt say he'd be a minute and didnt ask for backup. When he was finally done, i didnt notice for a second, and he acted like he had been waiting on me the entire time. Not helpful, friendly, or even remotely nice. Just plain and monotone. Yikes.
Had a great experience yesterday at O'Reilly Auto Parts. They were busy with multiple customers, so they gave me the tools I needed to remove my old battery. Once it died down a few minutes later, they then came out to help me install the new battery, plus I received a rebate for a $25 gift card towards future purchases at O'Reilly. All around great experience! Alyssa was awesome!
My mechanically inclined friends shop here and tell the less knowledgeable girly me that this is the place to go for good quality products, so here I went!
I went with the hubbs, who knew exactly what oil we needed so we walked straight to the back wall to get what we needed & basically just get out as we were in a rush. The employee behind the counter greeted us with a quite friendly demeanor, and offered to help us look for or look up anything we needed, we politely declined because we knew what we wanted...but I feel like I would have had knowledgeable assistance at my disposal if I need it.
They had what we were looking for, and a reasonable price, and we checked out with no line to wait in, and were swiftly on our way. Speedy, with good quality kind service, exactly what we expected and needed, and were glad when it was painless and fast.
We will be returning here for all our auto needs!
If you see my pictures, you'll see that they also do free wiper installation too! So helpful, especially useful for us girls who are sometimes less mechanically inclined than our male counterparts.
I went to buy a light bulb for my 2001 Toyota Sienna. My front light bulb was out and I am not handy with cars, I asked the worker MARIO!!!!!! If he can help. He was very kind and helped me out.

Great store, with great workers. Mike went above and beyond when I was in an automotive crunch. From picking up the phone before business hours, having everything sorted and ready when i came in, and most important was helping me out with a pulley swap on an alternator. There are many parts stores in the area, but few have the quality people working for them.
