After picking up my car from this shop 2 weeks prior, I had to clean my car thoroughly inside and out. There was dust and white specks all over the interior and exterior. In cracks and crevices. They left my doors wide open while sanding other vehicles in the vicinity of my car and got powder, specks of white paint and dust everywhere. They even got dust in my trunk. When asked what reason someone had to go in there, they had no clue. The bumps on the roof of my car the shop was supposed to fix twice has started showing up again. The shop guys or whoever worked on my car also scratched up the rear driver's side of my car trying to clean and wipe it down. I was blown away at the poor quality and workmanship that this shop had performed on my vehicle. It looked like someone worked on it in their home garage and didn't care about scratching it up or how good the quality of work was. Unbelievably, I gave this shop 2 chances to rectify this situation. They failed epically. They had to redo the driver's door that was originally replaced because of the poor job that was done the first time, repaint it because of the missed spots (failed) and had to remove all the excessive scratches done on the rear door and roof while it was at the shop). Twice (the 1st and 2nd time) they told me my car was ready just to get there and have to wait because it wasn't. And because they could not resolve the problems when I took it back the first time, I had to reschedule with them to get these issues resolved. They had my car for another 2 weeks and when the shop was done, it was barely any better. My car was filthy, and this time scratched up on the passenger side rear door area. SMH. This shop cannot be trusted to return your vehicle back to you in better shape than when you gave it to them. Learn from my mistake and GO ELSEWHERE.

E&M repaired my chewed up front bumper. I would say I have the “eye” for body work and can easily spot shotty work. The fit is great, the match is spot on, and the orange peel is OEM like.
Dropped the car off on Monday and picked it up Friday. Brandon texted me updates the whole time and gave me an awesome price. I think I found the only body shop I’ll ever need.
E & M did a wonderful job on my daughter's SUV. The job was completed quickly and professionally. Mr. Ramos was very professional in providing me a quote for the work. The quote was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to refer E & M to family and friends.
The people here are kind, attentive, and, most importantly, very proficient. They pay attention to every possible body detail on cars. I have come here twice (most recently 3 weeks ago) and overall they did not disappoint.
To err is to be human, and humanity they showed on my most recent visit. Nonetheless, they spared no expense in making right on their pledge to their customers when getting my car ready. They even cleaned the inside thoroughly! Not more could be asked of a fine place.
Update: It has been several years since my last review. One thing I have to add after my most recent visit is that it takes an exceptionally high level of skill and experience to charge so reasonably and to be this honest not just in the auto body repair business, but in any business. They are indispensable. We drive several miles each way for their service because it is hard to trust anyone else. We recommend them to anyone and everyone.
Avoid E&M Auto Body at All Costs – A Brutally Honest Review
I had one of the most unprofessional, frustrating, and disrespectful experiences I’ve ever encountered with a service-based business at E&M Auto Body. Here’s exactly what happened—read this before even considering handing them your keys:
1. Bait-and-Switch Pricing & Broken Agreements
We originally agreed—in person—on a full inspection and a final quote for repairs to my 2016 Chevy Suburban. There was no mention of an upfront payment during this inspection. After I brought the vehicle in, they tried to tack on an additional $500 claiming they “didn’t see rust” the first time. That’s impossible, as their own estimate photos show they clearly inspected the exact areas in question. When I refused the new terms and held them to the original quote, the owner backpedaled and said, “Fine, we’ll go with your original terms—but only if you pay half upfront.”
2. Deliberate Communication Failures
They emailed the invoice to an address that landed in my “Promotions” folder—and never followed up with a phone call or even a text to confirm that I received it. I assumed everything was on track for work to begin. I called on the scheduled completion day—Wednesday—only to be told they hadn’t even started because they didn’t receive payment. Zero courtesy or professionalism.
3. Holding My Vehicle Hostage
My car sat on their lot for three business days with no work done. When I asked how they would compensate me for the delay and inconvenience, I was met with sarcasm, deflection, and accusations that I was “harassing” them simply for asking legitimate questions. They offered a refund and asked for my Zelle info multiple times—but never addressed the core issue of wasting my time and disrupting my family’s transportation and work obligations.
4. Impact on My Family
During these three days, my wife and I were forced to rely solely on her vehicle. She had to walk our children to and from school in terrible weather because I had no car to get to work. The shop clearly has no regard for the customer’s time, responsibilities, or needs.
5. Physical Damage to My Interior
When I got my car back, it had clear shoe scuffs and a puncture inside the driver-side door—evidence that someone had mishandled or damaged my property while in their care. My vehicle had just been professionally detailed before drop-off.
6. Licensure Issues
Their business license posted on the wall was over four months expired. When I brought this up, I was told, “We just didn’t post the new one.” That’s illegal. It raises serious questions about their overall credibility and operational compliance.
7. Pattern of Behavior
This isn’t an isolated incident. My wife previously filed an insurance claim with E&M Auto Body and they took over two weeks to complete basic repairs. Delays, excuses, and lack of accountability seem to be standard operating procedure.

Let’s start with the obvious: when the police arrived, the owner suddenly had a “family emergency” and disappeared. Instead of facing the issue, he had his manager speak for him. That’s not leadership — that’s spineless.
You also conveniently ignored the fact that your posted licenses were expired, which I’ve already reported to village authorities.
I didn’t demand anything for free — I offered to pay for expedited service because I needed the vehicle for work. That’s basic customer service, not entitlement.
The only reason law enforcement got involved was because of your sudden price hike, poor communication, and failure to start the work. They gave me documentation on how to proceed legally, and I’m prepared to use it.
This response only confirms everything I experienced.

These guys did a repair on my show truck, had to fill some dents and paint door/front bumper. And my gosh, they do phenomenal work. I have a very high standard when it comes to this truck. We had a paint scratch on the passenger side of our newly purchased car. Emil and his team charged a fair price and did the work quickly and professionally. Since day one, Emil was very nice and professional. He kept me up to date with calls, letting me know what was happening with the parts; parts are delaying a lot now, but that was nothing he could change, Orta just aren’t available. But he was very diligent about letting me know.

From the moment I contacted Emil I was impressed. He got me a quote within a few hours. I was a bit busy with other things but he followed up but was not pushy about bringing me in which was amazing. He answered all my questions and scheduled me in very quickly. Took my car in after work on a Monday and he was just such a great person to talk with. I was kept updated with pictures and suggestions. My car was ready that same week Friday and let me tell you my car was clean inside and out as if I had just purchased a brand new car. I had a few tire questions and Emil was super helpful, I requested another quote and again was given the quote within just a few hours. I am just beyond happy with the work that was done on my car and enjoyed having a great person like him to work with. Although I don’t wish for any more scratches on my car if ever need to visit a body shop it’s going to be here.

From the moment I received my estimate the staff at E&M was very kind and very knowledgeable about what my car needed to get fixed. I was in a hit and run while driving and just wanted my 2017 Honda CRV to look brand new again. Emil looked at my car and wrote me an estimate. I also spoke with Alexandra who helped multiple times along the way. The staff at E&M did an amazing job on my car. My car needed a new fender, which meant painting a new one. One thing I was most worried about was the paint matching my original color because my silver has a bit of sparkle in it. It now matches perfectly! I am so impressed!
