I've been going here for years. The people are always friendly and helpful. They usually have what I need in stock. I always go here first for auto parts before I go anywhere else.
Bought front and rear brake pads. Of course I find out the fronts were the wrong part with the car apart. Put it back together, go to the store. They claim they don't have the pads that I just checked were in stock online, so I had to upgrade to the more expensive part. Did not got any sort of apology for the mistake.....tried to keep business in town, but back over to AutoZone next time.
Roberto was TOP TIER when it came to replacing my headlight bulbs & provided the best customer service. I initially went to the 4719 South Cottage Grove location and was told to find someone to install. And I also found out they sold me the wrong bulbs. Which is annoying; I was expecting them to sell the correct bulbs & to replace them. So I came to the Oak Forest Location and Roberto replaced with the correct bulbs & did it in 10min! A LIFESAVER! Truly Grateful!
This O’reilly’s is the best in the area. Not too busy and the staff is extremely helpful. Roberto took care of me with such a positive attitude and smile. Made my day better!
Don’t call and say your in way for a battery in 5 minutes then get there so you don’t have to drive all over to hear oh my boss just sold it. My cards now cut up Autozone it is !!!
I stopped in to get some power steering wheel fluid. I had no idea what I was doing. Roberto hooked me up and even helped me add it to my vehicle. My car was so happy with the new fluid. It drove great. Thank you!
So going to O'Reilly's almost got me a visit to the dog house. Was on my way home from work and the wife text me where I was at. I told her I was stopping at O'Reilly's. She went ballistic. I couldn't understand for the life of me why. Got home, she started to tear into me until I was able to show her it was an auto parts store. Laughs were had at that point. And the store had what I needed. All was well. Update, still as good as always. Typical parts store. But they tend to always have everything I need. So I'm still ranking them 5 stars.
If I could give a zero, I would! My husband and I brought in my car to have the battery tested. If we needed a new one, we were going to buy one here. The associate that was "helping" my husband handed him the battery tester because he didn't want to come outside because it was "too dark outside". The parking lot is very well lit! We are NOT auto repair experts! Why would we be servicing our car? How would we know what to do? The associate never came out to help us, so my husband went back in and returned the diagnostic reader-battery tester..whatever it's called, and we jumped the car again, and drove to another place. Don't go here.
I used to go to this place all the time the staff was always so helpful and knowledgeable. Today, I would not step foot in there to save my life the staff is rude and not knowledgeable. The markup is just ridiculous on the items. They used to have such wonderful knowledgeable managers like Sam Scott the other Scott now they got guys like Angelo and John who would rather be more confrontational than helpful and are garbage. Steer very clear of this place.
I don’t think people like their job over there , no one greet you , price don’t match , you ask for products on the shelf they tell you we don’t have it . Very much they’re careless. One star it too much for this place
They sometimes have things AutoZone doesn't have and other car stores. Sometimes, the prices are a bit better too. You just have to shop around and ask for pricing. Pretty decent store and have good selections of autoparts and miscellaneous things you might need for your car.
I needed to get my car battery checked. Called O'Reilly about 9am and found that there was no need to make an appointment and no wait. Came in about 30 minutes later and met with Ivan. He had me pull the car to the curb, diagnosed the battery (which was bad) and swapped it out for a new one in minutes. Batteries nowadays are in a fixed price market. It wasn't a deal or overpriced. It was the same price as everyone else's 3 year battery. Best part was dealing with a really nice employee and getting great service.
Came in one afternoon and was interrogated and almost was refused to have my brake pad replacement warranty honored by an African American female employee. Don't know if she still works there or not but I would have never purchased the replacement warranty if I knew I was gonna be given a hard time in the future!
I put air in my tire and lost the cap . I went here to get another one. The salesman was very helpful and kind. He went above and beyond, in my opinion. He came to my car, took another cap off to check the size, then after my purchase, put the old and new one on. Simple process that he didn't have to do. My experience was wonderful. I will definitely go back.
If it wasn't for the phenomenal staff, I wouldn't have even left a review. Had a very I formative conversation with one of the cashier's here. It's people like the one I spoke with that keep me coming back to stores. Friendly workers are the key to success! KEEP IT UP GUYS!
Most of the time these guys r topnotch. Sam, Scott w/beard, Diane r the breast. But Sat morn crew jesus n other scott def 2nd stringers. I called other Scott in the morning ask them if they had extractors for a rusted stripped bolt he said yeah somewhere I said what I'd like to know how much they were he said they're like 15 25 bucks. I took uber there n cheaest set is 30 bucks. I axed jesus a question n he gave me attitude. I wouldve been nice if other scott had walked 5 feet to look at actual prices.
Great place for auto parts in oak forest scott is very helpful on getting you the right things for your car with fast ordering O' Reily auto is my number one go to local auto parts store.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Been going here for years and will go no place else. They honor their warranty's and try to push people in the right direction if they can. Price match any place around locally.
