After waiting over 3 hours for a tow from a place that my insurance company set me up with, I decided to start calling other places. Area Towing came up on the map near me so I called them first. The customer service experience could not have been better. Michelle on the phone was very nice and helpful. She was able to get me towed within 20 minutes at a very reasonable price. Felix, the driver, was also very polite and friendly. As far as towing experiences go, this place can't be beat. Thank you!
They were sitting around watching the parking lot just waiting to tow trucks. We park by the Aldi all the time & have never seen any signs that say no tractor/trailer parking. That’s because there are 5 entrances to the entire parking lot & they only have one sign. They claim there are signs everywhere as if you can’t see for yourself. Scammers is what they are. 5 minutes in the store & towed. $700. Bs.
Craig handled my tow this morning and was very polite and professional. He even walked me safely to my car since I was stranded in the middle of the street. Great service and very kind.

I would highly recommend area towing. They were fast and Ricky spoke to my father in Spanish and walked him thru the entire process. He was professional and answered all of our questions which was probably 100 of them. Thank you again you made us feel so much better

After a morning of placing calls to multiple towing companies and recieving ridiculously priced qoutes to have my vehicle towed 4 miles I finally had the pleasure of speaking with Ms. Lisa.
Ms. Lisa was beyond helpful and empathetic to my unique situation. Speaking with her put my mind at ease, I was no longer stressed about how I was going to retrieve my disabled vehicle.

Ty very much it's not the frist I use this towing company, from the dispatcher to the tow men they are very nice. My car would not start this morning so I called and in less then 20 min they were hear, but my car is crazy and it started with out them, but I asked to cover their trip but they said no, I have to say most will take it but not them they are for there customers I will recommend this thing service to everyone. And thank to they're employees for being so nice.
Had a problem with my car and since I’m new to this area I didn’t know what company to go for and I went for this one. I have to say that I had a great experience with them and great customer service from Michelle. Fast and smooth process. Totally recommend.
junior came to the rescue and he got here really fast, i was at work and got locked out of my car, it was easy to call them and no damage was done to the car window, also the lady on the phone was really nice and helpful, thank you guys so much! it was only $60, happy thanksgiving! i highly recommend.
Parked semi truck on Melrose Park to get a sandwich for 10 min with flashlights ON and the engine still running and they towed right away… Predators thet get rich from hard working people. Ended up with 1400$ fine for a sandwich and 10 min parking. Even the Police if they showed will not tow right away but this people dont care. All they see is $$
This company is predatory. They tow vehicles of customers doing their grocery shopping at Aldi. They illegally lifted this vehicle while the owner and their dog where inside the cabin, which goes against every safety tow protocol (They should lose their towing license just for that). This entire company is trash if I could give it zero stars I would. I could understand if the person left their semi there unattended for a few hours, but they were literally inside Aldi for 15 minutes.
Their pricing is not reasonable at all, and on top of that, their communication is terrible. I asked a simple question about when my vehicle would be released after payment was provided , and the operator’s answer was just, “I don’t know and we waiting for the driver” How can someone tell me they’re waiting on something but have no idea when it’ll happen? It left me completely confused and questioning their professionalism
Tuesday 09/30 while picking up my car around 8pm the front desk “lady” was what I can say had provided the worst customer service I have ever received in my life. She was nasty, rude, unprofessional and had body language that mirrors her lack of respect for her role at Area Towing. My dad had 460 dollars and the fee was supposed to be 445. She looked at us and said we don’t give out change so you need to go and get the exact amount (even though the place is cash only) she refused to give us change. Of all the signs that are posted inside of this place - not a single one mentioned - EXACT CHANGE OR NO CHANGE GIVEN. My dad and I went outside to try to get the money and were able to gathered the exact amount but one dollar was all coins. She said we don’t take coins (with a nasty smile) . She was obviously making it hard just for us for absolutely no reason. I asked why she was doing that and she kept saying she was doing her job and threatening to retain my car another day if I would continue to argue and question her. Sad to think people live their live’s this way, by making it hard on people without any reason. I was not able to get her name but she was on shift at this time - in her 50s and large. This has nothing to do with race/identity/belief system but I don’t have her name so I wanted to give out her description and hope the message gets across to her. Do not go to this place if you don’t want your day ruined . I hope management can see this and address this lady’s lack of professionalism, courtesy and education. It’s unfortunate that during bad times you meet or encounter bad people.
My car broke down in a busy intersection on North Avenue and fifth in Melrose Park on 8/18/25 . Police officers came to my aid. My insurance company was unable to send me a tow truck as soon as possible so the police officers called area towing they were within 10 minutes I was helped and my car was told to my mechanic in Westmont thank you area towing. I would’ve given a better rating however I have been asking for my bill to submit to my insurance and I have not received any callback or anything mailed to me
