Had my vehicle towed there 12-15-2025 the women on the phone as well as the workers there all seemed incompetent I asked them for an itemized receipt for the prices they wanted never recieved it I asked them to remove my personal belongings from my car they still refused I will be seeing this company in court soon they wanted to steal my vehicle so badly and they broke laws in doing so also office was locked 24/7

We had our Forte towed to District Recovery late on 12-7-25. We needed to go there the next day to retrieve items from our car. The crew was very kind and helpful, walking us to our car in a fenced secure lot. The young man waited patiently and was helping assisting us. Great place!
The person on the phone and the staff at the yard was very helpful and very friendly. Helped us get our car from impound on a Saturday instead of making us wait until Monday. Thank you again!

My car was towed here after a bad accident. Recovering my things was really simple and the guys helping me were professional, cordial, and very helpful.
The other night my truck started overheating & i was nowhere near home. I wasnt in the best neighborhood. I wasnt going to make it and not sure how i would get home. So i called these guys since the map showed they wete close to my house. I was very nervous seeing i drive a show quality classic. I didnt need some half ass tow company jacking up my truck cuz they dont know what they were doing. I was very pleased when a flatbed showed up within a few minutes. Loaded my truck very well. No damage and the driver was very knowledgeable on his equipment. Now i keep their card in my wallet. Ill never use another tow company again unless its this guy. Thanks District Towing.

My car was brought here after an accident which it will most likely be a total loss. They were already pulling my car to yard but stopped and put in a betterplace where I could easily access my car to clean it out and take pictures of the damage before picked up by insurance company. Very kind and helpful. Assisted so I would not forget anything in the car. Caring and respectful. Later went back to pick up my license plates. A worker got me plates then was on my way. Quickly received a phone call from one who initially answered my phone call to make sure I had received the plates and asked how I was doing after the accident. Kept me upbeat and definitely put a smile on my face!

Got stranded in Summit, IL on a Sunday and needed a tow back to Logan Square because all the shops in the area were closed. We called 3 tow companies and DR was the only one willing to take us that far north. The driver was amazing, we chatted all the way through the horrible mid day traffic. Price was very reasonable. So grateful they were able to help us out!
They were very helpful, but I hope I never have to go there again))))). Our car was totaled and insurance company didn't want to do anything for months. I'm glad we found a good solution with this guys.
There is no such thing as conscience or humanity in this company. They behave inhumanly. They charged $700 for 2.5 miles and charged $140 for each day they parked for another eight days, totaling $1824 for nothing. And they kept me in the cold for eight hours, didn't let me into their office, and they opened my truck and ripped it apart. Please be very aware of such unfair and despicable companies.
If your car is here just get ready to spend over $500 my car was towed not even total of 2miles and my bill was $532 bunch of scammers and it’s sad how they only tow 1-3 cars a week and they make there living of those cars! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE AND IF YOUR CAR ENDS UP HERE JUST PRAY TO GOD!
I was so pleasantly surprised to receive the treatment I received here! I was involved in a4 car accident on 294 and my car was towed to this business. It was nothing I expected! This is a family owned business that has been in business for over 40 years that actually treated me like family! They were so patient and accommodating! Dan even helped me carry most of the things from my car! I can definitely see why they are still in business! Definitely an unexpected pleasure! Keep up the good work!
Terrible place and needs to be shut down. I was hit by a semi truck and tried to come get my car and they tried to charge me $1000 just to get my belongings. I advised them that I was still hospitalized from the accident and they still junked everything in my car! STAY AWAY FROM HERE! The employees have the worst attitudes and act as if you’re inconveniencing them by contacting them. They’re disrespectful and disgusting!
Everyone was very nice to deal with, I called a few times to make sure I had all the right documents prior to retrieving items from my car (there are things required so call before showing up so you don’t get turned away) Very big shoutout to Keith who was extremely nice and went above and beyond with being helpful, to the staff in the office being courteous every time I called, they didn’t belittle me. Great experience dealing with them due to a not so good experience of a car accident.
Accident damage. Vehicle is a 2020 with 11K miles. District shoveled up all the broken parts and road debris and threw it all in the interior front and rear seats. The debris in drivers seat was piled so high you couldn't even sit in it. Thanks for NOT respecting the UNDAMAGED part of the vehicle. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
