My Ford E-450 turbo diesel school bus had the batteries die. Some idiot (me) left the key in the acc position prior to going to bed. After occupying the time of security where I work for 45 minutes with no result, I decided to reach out to a pro. North Shore was polite, helpful, educational, and well worth the money. They arrived quickly and got the job done fast. Got an education in modern vehicle electrical systems to boot. Great company and nice people in general. And they didn't talk my ear off for three quarters of an hour like the security guard. A++!
Not happy with the way the operator behaved. I came from Detroit to have lunch in a restaurant located in Devon. Not even 30minutes after I parked, they towed away my car. I agree and I am always delighted to solve the issue. I went to the towing office, and there was a guy who was working there today 28th July Sunday around 230pm, he first refused to shake hands with me and then behaved rudely. I was like it's okay I made the mistake, I apologized and I paid the fine as well. I don't know why he is angry. When I was about to leave, it took some time for me to remove the sticker they placed on my glass, the same guy came and was shouting Go away, I have to close. Please do see to this matter. The operator's number was 1171.
Daniel, the truck driver who helped me, is AMAZING! He went out of his way to he kind, he was very courteous of my time, and he was lovely to speak to. If I ever need a tow again, I know who to call.
Noel and Bill and his team are true professionals. I had a nightmare situation where my old BMW M3 threw a rod and couldn’t be started, or even put into neutral. The technician Noel who transferred my vehicle took EXTREME care, worked very hard, and treated the car as if it were his own. They were on time, checked in often, and went the extra mile. Going forward I will exclusively be using North Shore Towing. Noel was funny, kind, and sincere, but more than anything else, he was extremely careful and used unique solutions to move my car. It was lowered and couldn’t start at all, so trust me when I say it required a LOT of creativity.
If you ever need your car moved and want it to be treated with the utmost care and respect, I would recommend you do the same.
When I used them the first time, it was for long distance towing across state lines. They could do it next day, when I called at 5 PM. Extremely accommodating team!
Luis came out to jump start my car and was so nice and understanding. It was busy in the parking garage but he still made it happen. Thank you guys so much. It was a little steep on price but it is what it is when you’re in a jam!

Responded and arrived quickly. It was a tricky problem and the guy had to figure out how to lift & move the cars. Both cars were drivable after being separated, so no actual tow, but great service.
You were particularly prompt in dispatching a flat-bed truck to “rescue” our disabled vintage car. Only 20 minutes! Remarkable! Your equipment looked well-cared for and clean, and made a very professional impression upon us. But most impressive of all was the driver, Juan, who was cordial, efficient, helpful in demeanor and sensitive about the way he attached our car to the flatbed. Juan is a wonderful representative of North Shore Towing. North Shore will be our favored towing company should we ever need to be “rescued” again.
The man who answered the phone the first time wasn’t nice. I called back after them needing more info on my vehicle, and the 2nd man had much better at people skills… They towed the vehicle within the hour as they said they would

On sunday, June 13, we first contacted our regular mechanics at Heart. It was great that, being closed, heart had an emergency number for towing. We were immediately connected to Northshore towing (spoke with a human Dan (I think). He answered all of my husbands questions in a professional manner as we were stuck on the roadside with groceries. He said we could expect a tow in 15 min. In that time our driver Luis came by. He could have simply attached the truck to the car but his kindness and knowledge took over. He thought a simple mechanical problem might be the issue- but it wasn’t. As he suspected our fuel pump died. The whole experience from heart to Northshore towing in a ho Sunday was exceptional. many thanks.
Our car failed to start. I tried to jump it with another car but it was not working. The next day I put a trickle charger on it over night and the indicator lights on the charger showed the battery was charged. So we broke down and called North Shore. The truck was in excellently maintained condition and looked very clean and safe. The driver was courteous and professional. We hired them to tow the car to the dealer which would probably have been a couple hundred bucks. But the guy got out this massive portable battery and hooked it up and kept connecting and reconnecting the wires until the car finally started. So we were charged for a jump start and he went on to the next customer saving us well over $100. I recommend North Shore.
I used North Shore Towing a couple of weeks ago when my car broke down after a transmission failure. They picked it up from my house and took it to the mechanic, and then ended up bringing it back when the mechanic wasn't able to fix it. Both times they were on time, very communicative, and professional. I would highly recommend them for your car/vehicle towing needs!
The driver was prompt, very friendly and tried to assist with starting the van. Although it didn’t work he was careful loading it and got it to my mechanic quickly. Exactly what’s needed when you’re in a jam.

Fast, friendly & safe service. Driver arrived within 15 minutes of my call, his first question “is everyone ok?”, very considerate driver. He hooked up, he made sure the ISP didn’t need anything else from me before removing the vehicle and towing it to my residence. Thanks again! I was originally told on Thursday afternoon someone would be able to jump my RV around mid-morning on Friday. When I hadn’t heard back by 11 am, I called again. Finally after 1 pm someone showed up. He was courteous and professional but unfortunately we couldn’t get the RV started.
Driver took super cautious care of my Porsche after key loss lock out.
Additionally dropped me back off at home when dealer had to m no loaners.
Very professional, courteous and careful.

Salvation Army Parking Lot

Our car got stuck inside the Salvation Army Thrift Store parking lot at around 4 pm. We cannot explain the problem, but it was something about the axel with the left tire (?). We had no other option but to call a towing company thru my car insurance agent. When the towing truck got there (coming from Wells Automotive Service Towing) at 5:30 pm, we were so disappointed because the tow driver couldn't help us because he didn't have the lift jack equipment to move our car. To make our story short, we called our car insurance again and sent another towing driver. This time, the towing driver was coming from North Shore Towing Company.
When the second tow driver arrived at 6:37 pm, the parking area was already closed, so we directed the driver to go around the alley. All right, to make the story short, Sal (Salvador), which is the name of the driver, was very friendly and extremely helpful. He didn't have the lift jack equipment, but he tried his best to do the technical things to solve the problem. Sal was very experienced; he was an expert and did his job with expertise and technicality. He did such an outstanding job. By this hour, around 7 pm, I was already shivering from such extreme cold weather. We asked Sal if he could give us a lift traveling to the mechanic place at a BP Gas Station, located at 5156 North Broadway Ave & W Foster Ave, Chicago 60640.
Sal didn't hesitate to say "Yes". He commanded us to jump into his truck driver set, and my cold was immediately relieved. He was such a wonderful man, and despite such circumstances and ordeal that we had gone through, we were still happy to meet a man like Sal, who made our evening so grateful. We are so pleased to meet Sal and being so satisfied by his service and friendliness.
We want to recommend him to anyone, and we will guaranty that he will do a fantastic job. We will also give Sal this commendation to the North Shore Towing Company's management and his boss Bob for such a tremendous job that he did for us. Thank you so much, Sal, from the bottom of our hearts!
