Ordered 2 fenders from this place. Both came in damaged and they were supposed to be CAPA certified but were not!! Filed a claim 3 or 4 weeks ago & now they won't reply back to any of my emails. They never answer their phone. Buyer beware!! They didn't add any extra insurance...not even enough to cover the fender cost!!

Customer Service lady is very rude! My part has been in the painted area for over 3 weeks now. The desk clerk says I will get tracking information this week if I don't receive it soon I'm reporting this company for scamming I paid almost 500 for that part ! This is disgusting way to organize a company!

If they paint your fender the wrong color the only way you’re going to get your money back is thru your bank. Painted mine the wrong color. Filed 3 claims, lady I called told me none of them went through. Submitted 3 more claims on “correct” claim site. Called back after the given window of response , lady told me to file a claim after I told her my claims either don’t go thru or don’t get a response. I’m out $300 and have spent hours trying to get them to take their fender back and return my money but I’ve gotten nowhere.

if i can give this 0 stars i would, i ordered a passenger side fender for 2020 dodge journey. they sent me a driver side fender, i called them on january 21st no answers i filed a claim and according to the website i would be contacted with 78 business hours. over a week and no response. i tried calling again and no one picks up, they then send me a link to file another claim in the 27th and i do that and still no contact. from them, theyre completely unreliable. at this point i just want them to issue a refund and take their part back and ill go to parts geek.

This place is a joke. Ordered a bumper on there website that shows "in stock" over a month ago, before christmas. I have been emailing them for two weeks and them telling me that it takes up to 15 days for paint to cure, which is understandable. Then just last week they tell me they cannot find the part and it is not even painted yet! They wait a month to tell me this and just put me off for a month waiting for this part! Never order anything from this joke of a business! They show parts in stock on there website and they don't stock it!!!

If I was able to leave a zero I would. Let me first tell you I do not like to write negative reviews as I know if could hurt a business but honestly I am at this point only trying to help others from going through the same thing. I ordered a car panel from them and had it painted. I got the part and when I opened it was damaged had a crease in the part. The way it was packed was horrible and not sure how they would think that it would not get damaged. I will include pic in the review. Was not happy however things happen so I called the company and they were kinda snappy and rude to me. Said I need to fill out a claim for and they will get back to me in 48-72 hours, wait what. Ok did that even know that is nuts. When I called back to confirm if the received they told me if you got an email then yes. Ok I said, I called back after 72 hours as I never heard from them. When I asked what was happening the women answering the phone was clueless and said you should get an email soon. SO at this point I was getting mad. I called back literally everyday and everyday they transferred me to what they said is the manager. Left messages, each time never called me back, This went on for weeks until I decided to do a charge back. Even after the charge back I called and said I just want to make this right and I will take the chargeback off. Nope still no response. Bottom line awful company DO NOT USE THEM, AVOID THEM, It is not worth it. SHAME ON THEM.

Placed an order 12/5, was told it would be shipped by 12/18. Called the 19th and was told the part was damaged and wasn't shipped, but assured it would be shipped by 12/26, it was not.
I called 12/29, 12/30, 1/2, all ignored. I sent several emails, all ignored. Called today 1/5 and was given attitude and argument by the woman who answered the phone after I explained I wanted an update on my order and hadn't heard back in weeks. She then forced me off the phone and hung up.
This place is run by people who don't care, and are trying to scam you out of your money. They take in a new order, then try to keep pushing the date back until it reaches 60 days, meaning a customer can't dispute with their credit card company over it. I'll file a report with BBB and the attorney general's office today. I'm sure the reply to this review will be "reach out to Maria"(who is just an AI chat bot) as if I haven't done that already, repeatedly.

Absolutely terrible store don’t ever buy anything from these guys I paid almost $3000 for 2 quarter panels one hood and bumper for my 2016 Mercedes c300 and not only were they terribly mismatched by color but the two fenders had huge dents right in the middle of them when they came in and had several areas where the paint was peeling already The bumper was almost folded in half and several areas of the bumper where they paint didn’t reach and several Areas where Paint was already appealing as well, and worst part was the hood had two huge dents right in the middle of it. None of these things were fixable. or repairable, I had to wait a month for everything to come in, I contacted them several times they told me to submit a claim which I did and never got back to me complete rip off and stay away from them!

Ordered a front panel. The day I received it I reported the damage. Was told to submit a claim. When I call they put me on hold and never answer. Have been waiting for two months writing to them and calling. Getting nowhere. They're customer service sucks. Don't buy from this company.

Extremely poor customer service and unresolved refund!!!!!
I had a very disappointing experience with this company regarding order.
They sent me the wrong grille. The part delivered did not have sensor holes, even though the item ordered and paid for was specifically the version with sensor holes. This was confirmed by both a professional body shop and Lexus technicians.
Because of their fulfillment error, I was forced to purchase the correct grille from another supplier, which caused significant delays and additional costs. The grille alone cost $500, and this order was part of a much larger purchase with multiple parts.
I provided all requested photos and documentation multiple times. Despite this, the company continues to ignore my emails and phone calls. There appears to be only one person handling returns, who was unprofessional and used inappropriate language during communication. I was repeatedly hung up on or unable to reach anyone else. Emails go unanswered.
This is not a complicated issue — the part they sent does not match the part number ordered. I am simply requesting a refund for the incorrect grille, which has been unreasonably delayed for weeks.
The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer respect is unacceptable. I would strongly caution others before ordering from this company, especially if you may need support or a return.Dec 15, 2025 -

My boyfriend ordered a front bumper for his car. They sent the wrong one. It is nearly impossible to contact them or to get a return lable. There isn't a phone number listed and emailing them is a nightmare. It has been 2 weeks and nothing has been sent to him on how to return it. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. If I could give negative stars.....I would.

Called MULTIPLE TIMES WEEK AFTER WEEK, sent in MULTIPLE emails about a bumper i ordered having a defect. got NOTHING back in return except getting transferred to a voicemail box (which i left MULTIPLE messages at).

First photo was my old satin black mirrors. Every photo after is with the new ones.
I ordered these Rivirside Blue Camaro mirrors to match the body color of my Camaro. I was worried based on the reviews it was a big mistake. But the price was too good to pass up. I waited almost two months. Which they were upfront about.
I have to say. The paint match was perfect. The quality of the paint is really good and I could not be happy.

I saw the bad reviews, but decided to take a chance and save some money. The fender arrived very poorly packaged and had been severely bend in shipment. I called the company several times and someone was supposed to call me back - never heard from them. I registered a damage complaint on their website and again heard nothing. My money is down the drain.
UPDATE: Chicago Auto Body Parts read my review and contacted me. They had found my emails in their spam folder. They offered to ship me a new painted fender ASAP. I replied that I'd already bought a fender from another company. They then refunded my money. I'll add that the fender they sent me, although bent in shipping, looked very good. After hitting a deer, my insurance company said my car was a total loss because the damage was more than they valued the car at. I refused to accept that and fixed the car myself. I ordered the new hood and lights from Chicago Auto Body Parts with a color match paint job. The shipping was fast, the products arrived without any damage, the repair was fast. Overall I'm 100% satisfied! And now my "totalled" car is back on the road for a fraction of the cost.

I would put a 5 star but the package was a damaged a bit. I got a front bumper painted for my car and the paint came out great and matched! The bumper was not harmed in shipping it was wrapped up good but box was beat up though. Other than that it came out great. Thank you!

I am now leaving a review for this partner company to painted auto body parts. Horrendous customer service. I was assured they would match the bumper to my VIN and they simply didn’t do that. I have a 2022 Kia stinger GT2 and I was given what appears to be a front bumper cover for a GT- Line, a completely different body line to mine. The bumper doesn’t fit. I gave up weeks ago and just fixed my old one because I have parts waiting to be installed. I have called everyday. I have made claims online. I was told one time that I would be contacted by a manager, I wasn’t. I will keep calling and review-bombing. You need to correspond with your customers.

*BUYER BEWARE* Order bumper for a vehicle. Received bumper on 4pm on a Fri. Dropped it off at the body shop at 5pm. Body shop said first thing Monday morning bumper was too rough to paint. I sent email to Chicago auto body parts initiating a return stating that. They asked for a picture I provided. Then they asked for the body shop’s phone number I provided which they never called. In the meantime, I ordered a replacement bumper from another company, which I received. Also, in the meantime, I pointed out more damage on their bumper and also sent them a picture. And they advised to let the bumper sit up for one to two days. And of course, I don’t have one to two days because I’ve already ordered another bumper. I requested a return/return request via email 10 times. And they would not provide. They advised it would be at my expense. I stated that is not what their policy says via their website. And as you would imagine, I received no response after that email. And of course I placed a phone call to the returns department, but the voicemail was full. This has been ongoing for three weeks at this point and my last email I felt that they should pay for the return shipping per policy on the website because I felt like it was only fair because I paid for shipping originally to have my part shipped. I have emailed Maria per the previous Google reviews and she said she was going to check into it. Still waiting on that response.

Never ever use this company. I ordered a front fender for my Buick encore from these guys. They sent my part in bubble wrap and some cardboard so when it arrived it was severely damaged. After spending days calling the company on repeat (Over 20 times) I finally got an answer and was told I should have made USPS wait while I inspected the part and made them take it back if I wasn't satisfied and since I had signed for it, it was my fault. I never signed for the package and told them that. They offered to give me a discount if I made the part work but told them I couldn't as it was too damaged. Then I was told to fill out a form, after filling out the form and sending it in I was told that a manager would soon be in touch with me. After a week and a half of no response I called on repeat again (no answer until I had called 30 ish times) After finally getting a response I was told they would send me a new part. After receiving the new part (also not signed for just dropped off) It was in almost the same condition it had less bends in it but this time had dust in the paint. At this point I'm not sure what to do. They are simply an awful company. I attached photos of both fenders I received. They are somehow in worse condition than the pictures can show.
I have now contacted the email left in the response to my review and received no answer. This company is incredibly hard to work with and I would never recommend them to anyone.Nov 06, 2024 -

I ordered a replacement bumper for my car and from the start there were issues because the part took two weeks longer than expected. But I was okay with it thinking they were getting it painted properly. But no the item to me is the complete wrong shade of blue. I ordered B637P boost blue pearl metallic from honda but I got a lighter paint resembling ford or toyotas similar shade of blue. Not only that but the paint looks like it’s starting to bubble in some areas.I’ve tried to get in contact with them for two weeks since I received the part but no one seems to be willing to help. I was given an email to send the issues I waited a few days with no response. I called back on Monday this week and was told to expect a response the same day from the claims department but no one responded. I waited until today wednesday to call them back and i’ve been on hold for half an hour now. Overall horrible customer service and the paint work appears to not be much better.Sep 19, 2024 -
Do not do business with this company. They are scam artist and liars! We ordered a hood for our car Nov 2023, they shipped the wrong part. They asked us to send side by side pics via email to show that the part was wrong which we did. They did not respond and ghosted us refusing to return our calls. We are still trying to get a refund via attorney general and they are still disputing the matter claiming they sent the correct part as was ordered. They lied in their dispute rebuttal and said they offered to accept a refund. They have perfected making money getting away with these scams. They WILL Rip you off, believe the reviews!!!! I waited a month, and the wrong parts arrived in the wrong color. Please be aware of doing business with this company. You'll pay your money, and they will forget about you. I waited over five weeks for my order, and when I reported the issue, they told me that I made a mistake in the order. It's not worth dealing with this company. Businesses with this level of service should be off the market.
You claim in public responses that you will gladly accept returns, but in emails, in which I have to wait several days for a reply, you tell me that it’s a final sale and no longer your problem.
My order also included a grille for the SE bumper. I’m attaching an image. The color was specified as 040 Super White, but you sent just plain white. It took you over a month to fulfill my order, and you’re also behaving shamelessly. When I requested a refund three weeks after placing the order, you said the parts were already being painted, and then it took another two weeks.
Additionally, don’t believe their public responses where they blame the customers. I hope to prevent someone else from doing business with you and losing their money.Aug 19, 2024 -
Update below: DO NOT ORDER THROUGH THIS COMPANY. SCAMMERS THROUGH AND THROUGH JUST TRYING TO STEAL YOUR MONEY. I ordered multiple parts for my BMW X5 and was sent broken/damaged parts but the box perfectly intact. I immediately refused the delivery, as their website says to, MULTIPLE attempts were made via phone and email to contact the company to make this right and still to this day was never sent replacement parts or a refund. This was back in September 2023.
Not only am I a Registered Nurse but I am an Active Duty Officer in the Air Force so I’m not someone looking to lie, cheat, or steal from people like this place clearly does.
Now hoping my bank will hold them accountable.
Based on how I am unable to respond to the reply to this message I will clarify the scammers. I am SHOCKED you’re able to respond because you have not answered and calls, voicemails or emails. Also shows how much you are aware of your own disputes because my bank is looking into the dispute further after they saw you provided fraudulent receipts of my purchase (not my signature, address or even the parts that I ordered but I’m sure you knew that). I have attached my receipt to show proof I did not sign for anything but rather refused the shipment. A claim against the BBB is the very least in your future. Better luck next time.

Panel was packaged horribly and came damaged. Reached out to them and they offered me a discount to order another one instead of sending a new one. Just find some one local these people are criminals. When you call they force you to email someone and then that person won’t respond when you ask questions. Seriously stay away from these people I have now reached out to my credit card company and they are working on getting my money back. I will be reaching out to the better Business bureau as well. I normally don’t do these it’s just their lack of communication and just straight thieving when I found out it looks like they did a claim for the shipping damage and they’re just keeping my money on both sides.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY--We ordered a 2013 BMW painted bumper. Order 6012621. We we told it would be shipped with a signature required. The bumper was left in our driveway. The box was damaged and inside was a cracked bumper wrapped in bubble wrap. The paint is terrible along with the damage. Not even sure it is the correct bumper. We have called and left voice mails, sent countless emails, sent Facebook messages. No response. WE ARE OUT 546.66

I purchased a painted bumper. This bumper was a few shades too dark and was already chipping upon installation. The bumpers paint job is the worst. It is one coat. No sealant and doesn't adhere to the bumper like this was their first day on the job and didn't know how to paint! The bumper material is soft and had a crack in it. When contacting the company they said they would give me a partial credit. That credit was near nothing to the $1000+ price tag. The customer service rep and email Maria stopped responding to emails and acts like she can't read or see photos.

*DO NOT BUY FROM HERE - When things go wrong, they disappear*
It's been 2 months since we ordered some parts from Chicago Auto Body, and they are no longer responding. We selected them because they had the best priced items, but had we seen all the bad reviews, we would have went somewhere else.
It took 5 weeks for parts we ordered to be shipped (almost 2X the 3 weeks they advertise), and when the parts arrived, they were damaged. This could have been from the separate shipping company, but when we reached out for a claim, they responded with unhelpful 1 liners or not at all. It took spending countless hours on the phone to find out that the shipping company destroyed the parts (cheaper to claim them vs. ship back), but Chicago Auto Body still didn't respond. I've written ~10 emails and called about ~20 times, and there has been *no* offer to refund, resolve, or help with situation. They have just stopped responding.
We did speak with Maria, who did her best to be helpful (thank you for trying!), but not being part of the Claims department (which doesn't answer the phone + rarely answers emails), there's a limit to what others can do.
Now we've been left with no car for 2 months and no recourse aside from a stopped payment via our credit card company.
The company either does not invest enough in claims / returns or simply doesn't care if customers are unsatisfied.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. THE LOWER PRICE IS NOT WORTH IT.Sep 27, 2023
