I had my car break down and this towing company did an outstanding job. The whole process was smooth, fast, and very professional. I especially want to recognize Oscar, the driver he was extremely professional, friendly, and handled my vehicle with great care. He arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and made a stressful situation much easier. If you need reliable and trustworthy towing service, I highly recommend this company. Can I give 100 stars? There are no words to describe the incredible gratitude and relief that I felt when he was able to unlock door and help me get into the trunk of my Mercedes, which had a dead 12 V battery preventing me from using my remote unlock when I was told by the dealer that it could be days after it was Towed into the dealership before they could fix it I was told by mercedes that it was a “ difficult situation“ that would require further evaluation . this guy hung in there through a ridiculously complicated situation helping to snag my purse thru the backseat moving two heavy suitcases out of the way to reach it pull it forward through a small hole so I could get the keys . seriously a herculean effort ! the man is a god among men and stayed calm the entire time ! Oh also two OTHER tow companies cancelled on me when they heard that car was parked on 18th floor of very tight private parking garage

My son caught a flat in the city and needed an emergency tow back to the suburbs. Not only were they the best rate, but they had the BEST customer service and were able to get to us in less than an hour! So grateful good companies like this still exist. I felt so relieved to be able to handle things so seamlessly for my son and have a reliable company to lean on for next time. Would definitely recommend.

As a female, not knowing how to change a tire, I found myself stranded in my car on a cold winter evening not knowing what to do so I called H&S Windy City Towing, and I’m glad I did. Not only did Oscar provide great customer service ,he went above and beyond when I found out that my spare tire needed to be inflated before being used. He took my spare tire went to a gas station to re-inflated it came back and replaced it. Just when I thought I was going to be able to drive myself to a tire shop to fix my flat tire, Oscar asked me to test drive to make sure the spare was going to be ok, which it wasn’t because it was a very old tire. Oscar then towed my car to the tire shop stayed to talk to the tire shop employees and to made sure that I was going to be taken care of and actually use his own car jack to put car in position so the tire shop employee could easily and quickly install a new tire. I was pleasantly surprised and not expecting this level of customer service but I’m so glad I picked the right company to receive it. So if you’re looking for a company that is professional and provides a service experience that is seamless and thorough I would definitely recommend H&S Windy City Towing .

I got in an accident on the freeway in Chicago and required a tow. It was during that snow storm a couple weeks ago. I was on the side of the road for hours waiting for the state patrol. I called H and S windy city towing and they showed up fast. I'm from out of state and was just passing through, I was effectively left stranded but Huge Thanks to my man OSCAR. Not only did he assist me with the tow but he even dropped me off at a rental agency and helped me transfer my belongings. He drinks pistachio lattes but he's a pretty good guy. Again, thanks Oscar and H and S towing. You guys rock!!

My vehicle broke down in Lincoln Park and Oscar at H&S Windy City Towing came through big time. He provided clear communication throughout the entire process and even called the auto dealership to confirm that he’d be able to drop my vehicle off to the service center after hours — I broke down in the late evening within 1 hour of the dealership closing. Oscar arrived promptly and provided photo updates confirming that everything had been completed professionally. Excellent service — I highly recommend.

Oscar and his team are kind and very helpful during my urgent need for a tow when I was in town from out of state. This company was amazing! I was told I needed my car to be towed but they were able to get into it and jump it for me without needing a tow. They saved me so much time and they were so communicative. They got my key to a trusted source and I am so grateful.

Needed a heavy EV towed out of a tight spot with low clearance. Came out late at night and made it happen safely with care taken to my vehicle. Great communication across the board as well. Getting towed sucks, but it was a bit less bad with H&S

The driver Oscar remained in constant contact and provided updates on ETA, was very knowledgeable about issue I was experiencing and executed a reasonable amount of troubleshooting methods. Additionally, he waited while I test drove the vehicle and provided tips on how to avoid the same problem. I’m keeping H & S in my contact list!

Oscar @ Windy City is the best! He was on time. A kind man who went above and beyond in his service. When Oscar dropped my car at the dealership, I was pleasantly surprised when he drove and parked my car in the Dropoff zone; mind you this is around quarter to midnight. And then he dropped me off at my home, free of charge. Oscar is a professional with a kind heart!

I’d love to give huge praise for H&S Windy City towing. While I was having trouble, figuring out my AAA sitting in the cold for bit. Oscar from H&S called me back with accurate and fast ETA. He got me over my place of choice with ease and provided a warm and nice environment while riding with in the truck. I put in a service request to have my car towed due to a flat tire and was initially told it would be about an hour. That was the only update I received. After an hour passed with no communication, I called to check the ETA and was told it would be at least another 30 minutes. When I asked why I hadn’t been updated, I was told their system is automated and that I should have received notifications. They also reminded me that the times are estimates and can’t be controlled—something I would understand if their system actually updated me in a timely manner. It wasn’t until after I called that I finally got an automated message saying the tow was on the way, and even then, it only said “arrival soon” instead of giving an actual time. Overall, I ended up waiting almost 2 hours for the tow to arrive. The lack of communication made the situation more stressful than it needed to be and the lack of accountability was disappointing to say the least.

I requested a tow through State Farm, and after another company had failed, H&S came through. When I explained my location, the driver Oscar knew exactly what service station I'd described, got there quickly, made great time getting to my destination after, and was smart and friendly throughout. I am so relieved to have made it home safe tonight thanks to H&S.

Wow! Exceptional service from Oscar at H&S Windy City Towing. Oscar’s proactivity and professionalism from the beginning of my call about needing a last minute towing service done to get my car towed from a car impound about 30 minutes away was phenomenal. Right away Oscar asked: 1. How Can I help you? 2. What Service are you inquiring about? 3. Where is the car located 4. Make Model Year 5.Where Car needs to be towed 6.Upfront towing cost. 7. Time and date for schedule towing preferred and listed availability on his end as well. Oscar met my expectations with his transparency , communication, and direct knowledge and insight on how the towing process works which are values I respect as a customer(Personal preference) Second, flash forward to the day of towing today November 25th, 2025; I did my due diligence to text Oscar ahead of time to let him know how far I was from the designated location and Oscar exemplified quick efficient and clear communication on how far he was and showed up on time a little earlier to be exact to make sure pickup went smoothly. Oscar transported my car to my residence and managed to get the car in my delegated spot with the car not being drivable. Oscar even showed my fiancé and I some knowledge on how to get the car into the spot with low power steering wheel. I’m always appreciative of new knowledge. Highly recommend!!! They quickky respond to calls and give accurate time frame of when they will arrive. This is my 2nd time needing their services. First time was due to a flat tire on the highway during rush hour. They were there in 20 minutes. 2nd time they jump started my dead battery and made sure I got home safely. And, they are reasonably priced.

Broke down in the wicker Park area vehicle is having transmission problems. The driver Oscar was very professional and punctual. He gave me several ETA updates! I would recommend this company to anybody great fast, reliable service!

Very highly recommended! I had a very frustrating and complicated situation with a dead EV in a low-ceiling parking garage where my insurance kept re-assigning to me different tow companies. Oscar worked with me every step of the way, navigating the insurance, special equipment needed for my situation, and flexibility to try some different things when it seemed like the EV chargers were part of the problem. Great communication, great service, so patient and friendly, such a help in a stressful situation.

Great service! My Rivian was totally dead on the fifth floor of my building’s garage — tight space with low clearance. Two other tow companies came out, and said they couldn’t get it done. Oscar showed up with two different trucks and made it happen. You can tell he really knows his stuff and actually cares about doing the job right. Super professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy — I’d 100% call them again. If you’ve got a nice car, these are the people you want handling it.

Oscar is absolutely Amazing. He did the impossible. We arrived back from a trip to Florida to find our car completely dead. We couldn't even get inside to get our parking ticket out. Oscar spent hours at the Airport in to the late night trying to recover my car. Sercurity would not allow him to take it. After many phone calls, Oscar was able to tow the car out of the garge the next morning. Absolute A+ service from a reaaly nice person! I hope I don't need to get towed again but I would not think to call anybody but Oscar.
