One of our trucks could not start in the scale house bay. Edington was called out to pull the unit out of the bay and place it in the parking lot. After arriving in site, the whole process was one hour from the time the tow driver showed up until the completions of his duty. They sent me a bill of $750.00 USD for the hour of the job. There is no other words to describe this but a complete fraudulent theft. Please watch out for misleading companies such as Edington Service INC. I would not even give them one star
I broke down called to see if they would come look at my truck 1 mile maybe and they wanted to charge me $400.00 just to look at it and tell me where my antifreeze was leaking from highway robbery if you ask me
Not sure which driver was coming thru West Union today but you sure made two little boys days when you honked at them! They are 3 and 2 and that makes their day! They also always say thank you when you do honk!
They came to my rescue when my car broke down in Marshall on our way from St. Louis to South Bend IN. Staff was super friendly and prompt. Towed my car to the Hyundai dealer in Terre Haute. Very grateful for their service.
My service with EWS was a 10 out of 10. Brandon was a great help. The freight on my flatbed had shifted and needed to be readjusted. Brandon went over and beyond by strategizing the safes and most efficient way to reposition freight. Brandon was professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Would I contact EWS for any other Truck/Trailer repair? Yes! Would I refer EWS services? Yes! To sum things up in a nut shell, if you need anything pertaining to Truck/Trailer services EWS is the place to go. Once again, thanks Brandon for your help today.
My vehicle water pump locked up. And I called Eddington and within an hour they were there hauling it where I wanted it. Very friendly service and quick to respond.
Hit a dear not to far from their tow yard. The responded as soon as they could and helped me get my truck off the highway and to a safe place. Super friendly and let me collect my belongings. Would recommend to anyone!
We needed jump start on a truck, called this guy's send someone in 10 minutes and start the truck right away. From my experience ill recommend them to anyone
Very nice people. We had a load shift on our trailer and wanted to get it fixed before it became a worse issue. We called and asked if they could help and they told us to come over. 30 minutes later we were rolling down the road good to go. If I ever break down, I hope I’m near you guys! LOL. Thanks again!
What a p o s ! Called for a car tow cancelled before they even got there, got charged 164.80 full tow price from IL to Terre Haute IN. They didn’t say before hand they that were going to do this. They charged my card as soon as my son called. Called Monday and asked / complained about, it did no good. Hope you feel good about profiting from a disabled old lady

My tire blew out on the interstate. I called and was told it would be a 45 minute wait as he was out on a call. Nick arrived in 44 minutes and towed us back to the shop. Nick and Brandon changed my tire and had us on the way. Nick even helped my elderly mother out of the truck. Great guys. Thank you so much!
July 1st we were traveling with our fifth wheel camper in tow and looking forward to a 4th of July weekend. We encountered some less than ideal road conditions through Indiana that I have no doubt contributed to the failure of my rear trailer axle. A passing motorist alerted us to our trailer having a problem and I then noticed I was missing a wheel. I had lost not only the wheel, but also everything that the missing end of the spindle previously held on. It was nearly 9pm and we found Edington's Wrecker Service listed on the internet. We called and explained our situation to the man that answered the phone and said he would be right out to see if he could help us. He arrived not long after the call and was very professional. He helped me to evaluate the extent of damage and what options I had to get back on the road. He assisted us getting our rig moved over to their facility to get it off of the road and we talked about a plan for repairs. I thankfully picked up all of the parts needed for the repair. We called and were on our way back with the parts in hand. In all of the chaos it wasn't until this moment that I realized that it was his name on the truck! We arrived back there the next morning with the parts and was met with great hospitality. In my profession I work frequently with towing/recovery companies and vehicle service companies and these guys at Edington's are wonderful! The best class act service I have encountered in a very long time! The two young men that repaired my trailer were extremely hard workers and did a great job with the repair! We were back on the road by closing on Friday. I cannot thank the folks at Edington's enough for getting us back on the road within 24 hrs. Thank you Kim!! OMG, NICEST GUY. We had a problem with a wheel on our trailer and was referred to this place. We got there and there wasn't anyone there, all at lunch. A guy showed up and worked on it even though he was still on his lunch. Very helpful and kind.
Not only was they extra fast they did a wonderful job. Helping with insurance company so I didn't have to drive 2 hrs I would highly recommend them to anyone
From the first of many calls, Lisa talked me through the scary blowout on the interstate to the quick arrival and professionalism of Josh at the site and finally the nice group of people at the shop where a new tire was installed at a great price, the service was Excellent. They were professional and personable, as well as timely and reasonably priced. STRONGLY RECOMMEND this company. Thank you.
I don't even know where to start with this bunch of guys!!! I called for a tow from tire blow out on my truck, I told them on the phone to bring a bigger truck because of the weight of mine and they did! On the way to their shop Bruce was on the phone calling multiple places looking for a replacement tire to get me back on the road, unfortunately they couldn't find one locally but that didn't stop them form solving my problem! Together we found one in Terre houte and they were able to get it transferred to their shop and I was back on the road inside of a couple hours! They treated my vehicle and myself with the up most respect and were there not just to make a few dollars but to also HELP when I was in need.
Thanks Bruce and the crew for what you did today! If anyone need roadside assistance give them a call you won't be disappointed!
I got a flat tire whilst driving from Massachusetts and they not only replaced it, quickly and efficiently but they also took their time to find me a replacement for a great price. This will probably be my only time going here but I highly recommend Edington’s Wrecker Service for any of your mechanical needs. I’d rate this place 10 stars if I could.
EWS saved my bacon after i broke a ball joint on grand turn rd, on a sunday night nonetheless. They also help to train the local first responders on how to properly address incidents involving large equipment.
I was towed in to their shop with a blown turbo. The staff was great all the way around. The tow truck driver was polite, professional, and took care with my equipment. The mechanics were thorough, knowledgeable, and worked hard to get me on the road as fast as they could. The owners were also very friendly. The pricing was good and I would recommend this company.
Worst service ever in my life. Overpriced and disrespectful workers. They towed for one mile $350US pick up a part $300US. When you ask questions they tell you get out. And also racism is still very much alive I had no choice but if you get stuck have a truck tow you further these people are thieves and probably the worse people Ive ever met in my life. However they did complete the job 4 days later a job that should have been $600 cost $2600. Oh yeah tack on my $200 hotel bill. Heartless and immoral is this establishment. I gave 1 star because I cannot give 0. Completed May 22 2017
UPDATE: 5 hours later after paying this incompetent company thousands my truck shut off. Stopped at the dealer, dealer confirmed real problem was never fixed by EWS. Problem is still ongoing. The dealer showed me the problem and I can only hope to make it back home. Do not go to this business they don't know what they're doing. These truck fixers are guessers. They tell you what they think it might be
UPDATE 05.23.17: one day later brought to an electrician and problem was one loose ground wire which caused a short from my ECM. Total cost to fix this $150 CDN. I paid over $3000us to this wrecker for a fuel pump that I didn't need installed to be put in and on top of that kept my pump refusing to give it back to me
I got jipped big time but I'm warning future people that may come across these guys don't waste your time. And if you happen to be a minority and not white like them good luck because they will talk to you as if you're dirt.
They have no respect no morals no business skills. Worst customer service ever and worst of all they no nothing about repairing trucks
Perfect service on very nice equipment. They must be doing something right. It was a little expensive but the service was tremendous! I rode in the cab and he made me feel very comfortable. He said a big thank you for calling us and a firm hand shake. I'd recommend them to anyone, any time. Thanks guys keep up the good work.
I found them to be over priced on towing $500. To tow my truck 25 miles down the road. Also asked them for repair estimate it was way more then the place I eventually found to tow my truck and do repairs.
Wanted to see if trailer tire had a slow leak or needed patch. Was told to go to marathon they have air. All marathon's hoses were broke. Really rude so guess go down road somewhere that has customer service. Not recommending
