Have been there a few times in the past few years and went in today 15 minutes before closing and got a bunch of dirty looks from people outside and in the office. The office told me they would take my truck cab but leave the rest of the junk on my trailer since they were closing. That was fine but the operator took everything off even after I told him what the office had said. The people in the office refused to give me my ticket until next monday when they open and wouldn’t let me take my junk back because i “took too long in the junkyard” even though the operator took a long time and took more than what the office wanted. Nobody told me I wouldn’t be getting a ticket today UNTIL after I weighed out. Very ridiculous and rudeness in that office. will NOT be coming back after I get my ticket on Monday. Very Disappointed
First and last at this place. I've had a truck load of half scrap and half cast aluminum. Bc they are so lazy to weigh it separately they said everything was scrap. If it's all junk why didn't you lazy ppl mixed them together instead they had it in 2 different boxes. SMH. I've rather took my junk home and got paid for my cast. I've spent an hour removing those things to make it clean
These guys are awesome. They were very helpful when I dropped off some scrap metal. They must have a lot of staff because of all the activity going on. Very worth the effort to recycle things here.
Quality, professional service! Absolutely impressed with the personable staff, always knowledgeable and more than willing to help. I Couldn't speak more highly of them, I will drive past any other similar business, just to give them mine!
Mack's recycling had been a favorite for me to scrap my recycles. Been coming here for years. Never had an issue, and the staff have always been fair and friendly. I'd recommend twin city recycling to anyone who has scrap metal and wants to earn a little money.
Great place to find old and retro computer parts. I even got an entire 386 desktop pc(not including hard drives for security reasons) It's a little sketchy getting to the pallets though, but it's expected.
Prices for parts are reasonable- considering getting second-hand elsewhere like ebay- starting from $5 upwards.

This is a place you either know and go to or you don't. As a first timer I was really confused, went inside to ask about things and they were kind of like well drive through duh. So he did point out the entrance to me, but I wasn't sure if I unload they unload etc. They eventually came over had me move then unloaded and walked away. I guessed that was the end of it. If you want to go here find someone who does and ask them to go with you.
Friendly, helpful staff go out of their way to help you. I have always received fair pricing and honest deals. Will definitely continue doing business with Mack’s.
Stopped in for the first time, to offload a bunch of household metal items (curtain rods and tracks, hinges, light fixture parts, etc. It was an easy and fast drive-through operation, with friendly folks to unload. If you donate your proceeds, they match that amount in support of a local food charity,
Have been taking my scrap here for about a year and had good service until recently. I was treated very poorly and even had money taken from me by them. I took in some air conditioners and showed them the lines were cut but when they saw it drip a little they charged me 40 for both air conditioners even though I showed them I cut the lines. When I asked about it in the office i was ignored. Will not be going back
A great resource! Off and on for over 30 years, making yard "art" from scrap metal has been a part time hobby of mine. Mack's is the only scrap metal dealer left that I know of that will allow me to roam their yard and sift through their piles of stuff to find interesting pieces of scrap. They've always been very friendly and accommodating; for example, I am perfectly welcome to disassemble a junked piece of farm equipment and take only the parts that I want.
They take all kinds of equipment for free (like e-waste!), which is an outstanding service. We showed up 5 minutes after close (accident) but they still let us offload some stuff, and even had people to help. Good folks.
