Had a flat tire, called Tatman's. Dispatch was great and had service to me within the 20 minutes stated. Travis S was my service provider and he did an excellent job. Knew what he was doing. Took care of his business portion well with me. He was skilled in knowing what he was doing to take good care of my car and get the tire changed in a very timely manner. Very polite and professional throughout. Highly recommend! Couldn't have asked for a better experience!
Today, my husband accidentally locked his keys in the car while at a gas station. Our dog was in the car. He contacted Tatman's, and they immediately sent someone to open the door, which they did at no charge! Unbelievably good service. I highly recommend them.

My car battery was shot after this recent cold snap. After a short phone call and wait time, someone was sent out to help out. Despite having just sold the last battery type for my car, Travis was able to get my car going enough for me to drive and get a replacement. Absolutely fantastic service and if I have car problems again I will definitely be giving Tatman's a call!
Called AAA for what we thought was a dead battery. Travis from Tatmans arrived and correctly diagnosed that the battery was actually fine, but the positive lead was loose, causing intermittent connections and draining the battery. He fixed the issue quickly, tested the battery, verified it was A-OK, and we were good to go! Great service!
We love using Tatman's Towing. They are always prompt, knowledgeable and kind. On Sunday, Travis Simpson came out for a dead battery in our truck. He was such a nice young man and took care of the battery very quickly. We highly recommend Travis and the entire Tatman crew.
Great experience two days straight with Tatman’s. Car wouldn’t start due to the cold weather and Steven Hickerty came out and provided a quick jump and well as a battery health report.

I was staying with my granddaughter taking her to school while my son and daughter in law were at a wedding in Mexico. One morning, the car wouldn't start. I called Tatman's Towing and within an hour Travis Simpson was here to help. I couldn't have asked for a more professional and helpful service specialist. He immediately found the problem and replaced the battery. I would definitely call Tatman's Towing and their specialist Travis Simpson whenever I needed service for the car and I will leave all the information for my son when he returns so he will know who to contact in the future. I have had to call Tatman twice in the last month for battery service. Today was -30 wind chill and I thought I was going to have to wait. Travis Simpson showed up, ready to go. He was very thorough and professional and kept on smiling. He really was the bright spot of the day.
My driver was terrific! Timing is always a matter of luck when you’re waiting for roadside assistance; and I was just lucky that at 8 o’clock at night on Saturday, Tatman’s happened to have an off-duty employee living in Rantoul, IL, the small town where my tire blew out. But the great thing was his cheerfulness, as well as his desire to be helpful, and even for a simple task, his competence.
I had the tire’s lug nuts off of my car myself and had a full-size spare out and ready to go. The problem was just that no amount of kicking or shaking or wiggling would get the wheel OFF of its mounting. I wound up having to call AAA, and I’m glad they found this company since my wait was only about half an hour.
I guess my driver had a service van at his house for such calls, because the drive from Rantoul to Urbana and back would’ve taken longer. But he was willing to come out even though he was off duty, and he just likes helping people. He was fantastic, and I was grateful. Once he got the tire off, I was even ready to just put my replacement tire in the place and go, myself; but he sent me over the sixth of his van the heat on while he finished up the work. Did I mention the very cold cold? Fantastic attitude, and I was and I am grateful to it!
I normally don’t write reviews at all, or look for them, but I was impressed enough here that I wanted to give compliments to the man. I called his company back directly that evening, and I just found out how to create a review here.
Had a flat called triple AAA got a call from Tatman's probably less than a minute after. Lady on the phone was extremely helpful and delightful. I received a few texts telling me that my service person was on the way. By the time it took me to put on sweatpants and get maybe half of my trunk cleared out. Travis S was there. Really friendly, efficient, and gave me some recommendations on where to get my tire fixed. Awesome service!!!
It is the coldest week in January up to this point. My car wouldn't start, turns out battery was dead as a doorbell. Steven was my tech. He was fabulous. Polite, efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and fast! Installed a new battery in no time at all. I love AAA!

I really think my mom got AAA just for me... Steven remembered unlocking my other car a few months ago. Anyway Steven Hickerty was great! He got here in 5 minutes at 9pm! He was done in less then 10 minutes! And he's so friendly and explained things in a way I could understand.

Absolutely fantastic service (would give 10 stars if possible)! Travis from Tatman’s Towing showed up within 5 minutes of putting a request through AAA. He checked the health of our battery, explained all details, and jumped the car. He also advised us to drive it directly to a Ford dealer for a free battery replacement as it had less than 36 months (unfortunately Champaign Ford city is not Tatman, I already had bad experienced in the past, and they refused because the battery receipt did not have the SN, another story). We had a second AAA service need. Travis waited patiently that we placed the request in the portal, and moved to help with a flat tire in our main vehicle. Replaced tire in a record time! He also helped to find the microscopic but deep culprit, for which he needed to pump the old tire. He was fast, efficient, and truly friendly. I learnt quite a bit from him today and he managed to bring me back to a great mood! Amazing experience!! With or without AAA, I will always rely on Tatman's Towing from now on.

On New Year's Day, Steven (Stephen?) provided me with excellent service when my car wouldn't start. He got the car to start very quickly. He was even ahead of the time frame the text system said he's arrive in. I'd absolutely use Tatman's again.
My battery died, I called AAA. And they out Steve with tatmans. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He took his time and checked the whole system. He was able to jump my car, but the battery was bad. So I bought a battery from him. Which he installed. And made sure everything was working properly. Five stars to him.
Travis Simpson showed up within 15 minutes of calling and got our Subaru Hatchback up and running immediately. He also did some diagnostics and pinpointed the problem to our battery. Very thorough and professional. Thank you for your excellent service!
My car died at a busy intersection and I am thankful I called Tatman’s. My tow truck driver, James prioritized my safety as well as other drivers. He quickly got me moved out of traffic and to our chosen repair shop. He was extremely polite and helpful. I would certainly call them again.
I’m giving Tatman’s Towing five stars because the customer service was wonderful. Our car died in Champaign, IL at night on our way back from Chicago and AAA got us in touch with Tatman’s Towing to drive us all the way home to St. Louis, MO. Thankfully we made it to a gas station. We got some sleep in a great Hampton Inn close by. Tatman’s Customer Service let us know that no one was available to tow the car and us until the next morning. Customer Service kept in touch with us about when they would be there, etc. Dante, the driver, came and drove us home safely. He was wonderful and made the debacle a little less frustrating for us. My car did not start in the evening of Nov 14, in the Meijer parking lot. I called AAA, which dispatched Ray of Tatman to come to help. It did not take long for Ray to call me, perhaps 15 min to less than 30 min.
Ray was courteous. He diagnosed my battery, and tried to recharge it. After some 15 min, the car started again, allowing me to drive home. Ray recommended getting a new battery.
Ray then called to check for the availability of the battery service to purchase a new AAA battery, and said that I needed to call AAA again to make another appointment. After I got home, I called AAA again, and learned that the battery service for a new AAA battery started at 7 am and ended at 7 pm.
Overall, I give Ray 5 stars for his service and courtesy displayed during our interaction.

On Nov 15, I called AAA before 7 am with the idea that I would have to purchase a new AAA battery.
Around 8 am, Steven from Tatman came to service my car battery. He was courteous. After taking pictures of my AAA card and driver’s license, Steven took pictures of my car before servicing the battery.
He cleaned the battery terminals with a metal brush, checked the cold-crank amperes, which was above 12 A, near the level of a new battery, even after six years. The problem was that there was not good electrical conduction at the battery terminals due to rust or dust. All other measures for the battery were good.
After Steven cleaned the battery terminal, the car started without any problem.
Steven said that the battery can still function for a while, without a need for a new battery at present.
I gave Steven 5 stars for his professional integrity and courtesy throughout our interaction.
My technician today as a result of my call to AAA was Steven from Tatman’s Towing. He came quickly- ahead of schedule- and was polite, professional and efficient. He had the problem diagnosed and fixed in no time, and a clear plan for further service at the dealer. He is an asset to Tatman’s, thank you for your service. EDIT: Google does not allow for 2 reviews but I also wanted to give a shout out to Travis. He arrived to jump start my battery (this is the 2nd time I used AAA for a battery issue), and Travis from Tatman’s came out the 2nd time. He was helpful, polite, friendly, and got the car started in no time, allowing me to make it to the dealer safely. Thank you Travis, you are a credit to Tatman's.
James and Noah completed my towing today. They were both very nice and helpful. They were also patient in explaining to me exactly what they’ll have to do. I appreciate that and will be using Tatman again as well as referring my friends and family. Also, they got here pretty quickly. I wasn’t expecting them to arrive so soon. A pleasant surprise.
