This is the second time I’ve had to use AAA for a battery issue, and Travis from Tatman’s was the one to come out both times. He is so incredibly helpful, not only fixing my problem but helping me understand what is wrong so I can hopefully avoid issues or know what to do in the future. He was at my location extremely fast - less than 15 minutes - and had my car started in no time.

While traveling from NC to Iowa on August 8th, we had a flat tire along I-74 about 15 miles west of Champagne. We did not know where we were and the dispatcher was helpful in locating us. Donta Hicks with Tatsman came to our aid. We are an elderly couple with limited mobility. Donta was very efficient with addressing our flat tire and towing us to a tire repair service center. He was professional, polite and very respectful of our limitations. We are extremely thankful for his work in getting us out of a dangerous situation and ensuring we were safely delivered to a reliable company that could get us on our way. Today I came out to my car and nothing worked..doors wouldn’t lock, car wouldn’t start. Tried jumping the battery 3 times- no luck. James came out to meet me from Tatman’s and I was expecting that my car would need to get towed to the shop. James was wonderful- very respectful, patient and knowledgeable. He was able to get the car running again by moving some wires around and I was able to drive it to the shop. I truly appreciated his help in my time of need. Had an inconvenient flat tire on the side of the interstate. Travis came to my rescue, not only kindly explaining the process to me and efficiently putting on the spare on the shoulder, but also recommending a local repair place that got me on the road the same evening to get home to St. Louis. Called AAA for a battery jump start and Travis Simpson from Tatman's came to the rescue! He tested the battery, explained what the results showed, jumped the battery so that the car actually started and gave me tips on how to save and extend the battery life. Professional, courteous, and REALLY helpful!
Had a flat last week so I called.AAA and they sent 2 gentlemen from Tatman's. I had a spare I just needed to have put on. The guys were very nice, Travis and I didn't get the other guys name. Unfortunately because Ford uses crappy parts they couldn't change the tire (bad lug nuts, I had this problem before) so they called for a tow for me. 10-15 minutes later Travis arrives. He gets me settled in the truck (even gave me a bottle of water!) and quickly gets the car ready to tow. He gets me to the tire shop, gets the car off loaded and checks back to make sure I didn't need anything else. Needless to say, it was a crappy day but these 3 made it a lot better. Also, the lady on the phone was great, keeping me posted on when help would arrive. This has been the type of service I have received from Tatman's over the years. So happy they are in my town!
James from Tatman’s helped me out. He was so extremely nice and helpful during what is traditionally a stressful event. He explained what was going on and what could be the issue and gave me advice for similar situations. I would recommend calling Tatman’s for help when you need it. Bonus if you get James because what a delightful guy to have the luck to meet!
I contacted Tatman’s towing to tow my daughter’s vehicle and they arrived within 30 minutes. Within 45 minutes the car was lifted, towed, and dropped off at the shop of my choosing. Greg was amazing. Service 11/10
James was THE BEST!!We had been stranded on the side of the highway about 27 miles from home for almost 2 hours late at night (due to issues with AAA), and we were extremely frustrated. James showed up with the best attitude and quickly got our vehicle loaded onto the truck. We made it to the repair shop swiftly. Went for a running race in a near by town to find my vehicle completely dead once I finished. One call to TATMANS did it all, jumped my vehicle, tested the battery and found it bad and had a replacement on board. Who do you call when a kitten is stranded in the undercarriage of your Jeep Cherokee? Tatman's Towing! Not sure how a baby kitten from somewhere decided to hitch a ride. Friday evening we heard a kitten in our garage. (we don't have cats) We ended up backing our cars out of the garage and after crawling under the Jeep we saw the kitten but could not reach it. The only solution, safely lift the back of the Jeep. An easy call to Tatman's Towing and the dispatcher send Greg Fry and his truck. Talk about quick response, Greg was in our driveway within 20 minutes. Happy ending, the kitten is no longer trapped and miraculously no injuries! Thanks Greg & Team for your fast response!
Travis responded to my request for roadside assistance through Nissan Connect services. I had a flat tire on narrow road with little room to get over on the side. The time it took to respond was excellent. The link to track where he was very helpful and reassuring. He changed the tire in a very professional manner while having to be in the path of traffic. I cannot stress how much I appreciated the way he handled my roadside emergency. I highly recommend his service.
