Got in an accident, thought that was the bad part. Nope — the real wreck was dealing with this tow company.
They slapped me with an $850 ransom bill for my truck being there basically a day (maybe two if you’re generous). Somehow, they called it three days — guess they’re using dog years for their billing system.
When I tried to pay with a card (machine sitting right there), dude goes “Cash only.” So now I’m running around town like I’m on Survivor: Bank Teller Edition, hunting down $800 in cash.
Here’s the kicker: the sales guy, whose job clearly wasn’t billing, tried to start an argument with me over how I paid. I basically told him to know his place — he’s just been sitting in that chair doing nothing, and he was gonna stay sitting in that chair because he sure wasn’t about to stop me from laying down legal tender. And that’s exactly what he did: sat there. The person who I assume is the owner, was just their smiling the whole time, happy to rip me off.
This wasn’t a tow — it was a heist. If you enjoy donating your wallet to people who contribute nothing but attitude and chair dents, this is your spot. Otherwise, avoid this place like a porta-potty at a chili cook-off.
I was interested in a very sharp looking 2005 Chevy 1500. I found the truck on Facebook marketplace and was flipping through the pictures and noticed that had not pictured the passenger side of the truck at all. So I messaged Travis asking for some more pictures Or a walk around video and he said he could do that tomorrow morning. Well tomorrow came and I was getting antsy so I checked their website witch had one picture of that side of the truck and you could tell the body lines were off then after zooming in you could see the dent near the rear tail light so I messaged Travis again and asked if that was the case being nothing was in the description about it and his reply was " no why?" So I sent a screenshot of the photo and got no reply and within the hour they had removed that photo from their website. I'd expect for a private party to try and screw someone on a deal but a dealership that's just so wrong.
Well beware if u happen to fall 3 months behind 75.00 on a stoage unit and some one comes in posing as a close friend to pay up your storage he will not qution when they go cut the lock and start robing me
I never got a call and have had the same number for 19 years was 3 days after I moved from savanna there's lots of mixed storys but me and I've fallen behind becasue I'm a truck driver and I've allways payed up so he says he called nope no address to send letter to and he never sent text messages so beware if u Eben kinda fall behind your stuff will be gone and he don't care I lost all my childhood stuff and most of all my kids childhood stuff alog with 70000 dolers worth the semi parts pick up parts and tools and tool boxes and just makes me sick and hole f250 pick up
My friend and I had a tree come down on our car 6/24/23 and no hotels had any room available and they were able to tow the car at 2am 2 hours away and let us ride in the truck with him! He was a life saver!!!
Contacted salesman and even put in an application for a truck. Never heard word from the salesman when trying to find more about the truck. Non-professional and awful
I spoke with Travis the salesman on a Tuesday around 2. I live over an hour away and was able to see the Jeep that evening. Travis informed me that he would be gone at 3 and would be at auctions the next day but I could come on Thursday to see it. He also mentioned that several people were interested in it, so I put $500 down as a deposit to come see it. Travis never once mentioned that the deposit was non-refundable. Every dealer I have dealt with the deposit is refundable, so it never crossed my mind to ask. In fact, I even upped the amount, which would have been a good time for him to mention it. Nothing was given to me in writing saying so. When I test drove the Jeep it wasn't what I wanted. It doesn't matter why I was purchasing the Jeep, I didn't like it and asked for my deposit back. Travis told me that I was not getting my $500 back. The only way to get that back was to purchase the Jeep. I even offered a re-listing amount of $100 and he wouldn't accept, said it would take $500 to relist even though it was still listed the next day. The whole conversation with Travis he used profanity. When I asked him to stop cussing at me, he told me to stop calling him bro which I did. I had to ask him at least 2 more times to stop using profanity. Travis asked me what I did for work and when I didn't tell him, he went online and started stalking me. Even asked me if I owned a Happy Joes pizza. I had no choice but to buy the Jeep. I called the owner, Brian (Travis's dad), the next morning to voice my unhappiness with the transaction, he told the same thing about it not being refundable and didn't offer any help. I told him about calling on Tuesday to come see the Jeep and he informed me that he was there and would have shown it to me. He then said, "oh, Travis wanted the commission on the Jeep." That is why he lead me to believe they weren't open after 3:00 on Tuesday. If I had know that they were open on Tuesday, I would not have put down a deposit. I would have gone and seen the Jeep and not purchase it.
Awful unprofessional place. Eric is a punk kid who wants to throw you in a car they just get in a trade with a bunch of people's items still in the car. Travis sells unsafe cars. His exact words about the car are, you were a new customer and we didn't know if you would make payments. They sold a car that wouldn't have passed an emssissons text. It had a broken e brake. A bad rim which after a couple times of a bad tire they fixed the rim, and the whole entire break line was rusted. Not something that could happen in a few months. In in the 3 months the car was driven maybe 6 week's total due to issue after issue. They knew it had issues and was not forth coming. I knew a person I worked with that forked out $2000 in the first few months buying a car from them with transmission issues, brake issues, not from them having the car. I would highly advise against buying them. It's a complete buyer beware. You can look at ratings for places, but ask around before you buy from them. They are not professional about anything. Just a couple of punks who think they own the town. Travis also refuses to let anyone talk to his father, the guy who actually owns the place. Make sure you do your research anywhere, make sure you have your mechanic check out the car before you buy it. Well worth the money to have your mechanic looks it over than trusting what some car salesman tells ya.
Absolutely love all the guys here! A friend and I got into an accident while visiting from Colorado and Travis and his team got us a great deal and an amazing car! Not to mention they threw in a FREE tv! I definitely will be back to get my next car from them! Thanks guys 🙌
