Glad to have a parts store in the area but if I have the time, I'd rather drive to Preston... Better prices and it seems like nearly everything I need, it has to be ordered and it's ALWAYS days out (even when they promise it will be there the next day)... That, and they rarely call you when they say they will.
I know there isn't much for immediate competition in the area, but the service leaves much to be desired. Somehow, you leave with the impression you're an inconvenience and should be grateful they bothered...
Shout out to Trevor for going above and beyond with great service! Knowledgeable, polite,helped with parts list to repair a broken coolant hose on my Kenworth. Thank you,sir!
Store was very well stocked and organized.
All around they made an aggravating circumstance almost enjoyable.
I used to love Nampa when Bill Harrison was running it. I was always treated good until recently. It's sad. I believe in treating your customers with kindness even through difficult challenges at work. Things has happened that's out of my control. I took my vehicle there to get fixed.
Unfortunately it wasn't.
I have a paper trail of documentation. Things happened with further complications. Instead of getting treated good i was treated very bad by the service department manager. So I got a 2nd opinion through Coles Chevrolet. This guy running it used to work for their company. I'm not gonna say which location..But he also had a history there treating customers badly.
I believe that things happen for a reason. And, I'm sad to say but I'll go up the chain in doing so. In getting what's legally mine & what's right.I don't want this guy to get in trouble but just know because I'm a women that you can't treat me unkindly. I went there today at 4:50 May 29, 2024 & he flat out told me that in order to get my warranty to get paid back I need to have Coles Chevrolet call the 800 # he provided me before that he was off the clock & in the back working on his own personal stuff. Mind you I purchased the part in Nampa in Malad & have the receipt. And paperwork from Nampa. The part did not work. I have been back and forth since August of 2023 & it's nothing but a fight and a hot mess.

We had a fuel injector O-ring issue (might've been my mistake). right when they opened Tim got us on the schedule as soon as possible and Dylan got it fixed right away! They were very fast. This was important because we were traveling on vacation with a lot of kids. Excellent service, considerate, and kind individuals. We are very grateful 🙏 thank you!
Napa parts are expensive and it is easier to get parts online from multiple places seven days a week, day or night. Save yourself some time, money, and having someone look up a part that may or may not be right when you can look up the part yourself. Shop around online and outside this area if you want to save money. Rock Auto, eBay, Amazon, and other online searches have better prices and you'll find out that the parts all come from the same manufactures, just in a different package/box.
Stopped here on our way home to get new wipers on the BMW. The gentleman working there, I believe his name is Nathan, changed out the wipers for us. We really appreciate the help. Happy New Year!
We were traveling through and lost a tire off our trailer on the freeway. All five lugs sheared off. The local shops were no help at all. Fortunately we came across Napa and they were extremely helpful. I didn’t get his name but the guy who helped out spent probably a half hour in the back with me rummaging through part to find what I could use to make the repairs I needed to get us home. Thanks for your help!!
Wonderful kind and extremely helpful people. They had everything I needed on hand to save me on my trip. Even came out and installed my serpentine belt just to help out.thank you guys so much. You really did save my day. 95 degree temperature outside and a very hot engine, but they came through and got me to my destination. I have never met someone from Malad that I didn't like. Great town filled with good nice people.so so helpful. A++
Mr. Mike took time to take us to town,and showed us around and dropped us off at the hotel, while they were waiting on parts thanks for fixing out truck. Great people!
We had a problem with our pickup truck when driving from Idaho to Salt Lake City.
We stopped at NAPA for some help identifying the error codes that popped up.
A guy came out with a code reader, helped us with decrypting the codes and gave us great advice.
We ended up not buying anything, and they never thought of charging us for the time and trouble!
This is what great attitude and service should be like!!! I wish everyone would learn from them!!!

We were traveling on a 15 hour roadtrip to a family reunion and the wheel hub assembly on our back left broke. We limped into a gas station in little Malad, ID. A local told us about Hess Napa auto shop and we called them. They agreed to help us and we dropped the car off at about 4pm. These guys are phenomenal!!! Not only did they fix our car by the next morning, they drove us to and picked us up from the hotel. They went above and beyond for us when we were in a major pickle. Bill and the other employees are really great guys and bent over backwards to get us on our way quickly. Our family (and my inlaws!) are so grateful to them. Huge thanks to them!!
Went to have o2 sensor replaced and timing belt replaced and mesh exhaust replaced spent over 1000 dollars check engine light was off less than a day now they want another 600 to replace catalytic converter, I won't be taking any of my vehicles there again spent three mornings in a row trying to get them to fix at something I already paid for needless to say I'm not happy
