As long as Jon is there I will never do business here. Won't give my money to someone who feels the need to send abusive text messages to a job applicant who accidentally double applied. Unprofessional, unethical, and flat uncalled for. Would rate 0 but that wasn't an option.
Always good service and always able to find what I am looking for. Is worth the 3.5 hr drive from salt lake… and rather do that than deal with the useless Rocky Mountain

I am trying to track down a door for my motorhome, and it was suggested that I try Holst Truck Parts. While I didn't find a door, the customer Service that I received was outstanding. When I mentioned my dogs were in my Jeep, Richard Blake offered to make sure that Jeep stayed running while I walked the yard looking for a door. Richard went above and beyond trying to help me out. Great place for salvaged truck parts and new accessories. They seem to always have what I need. Prices are high on some items, but sometimes they'll give you a break if it's not in high demand. I keep going back if that says anything.
I found this place while searching for a refurbished DT12-OB transmission. This specific spec was very hard to find but hey had one with all OE parts, a warranty and best of all... the lowest price on the net! How I found this place all the way from SC, I don't know but I'm glad I did. Dane was awesome, he went above and beyond to help me, was prompt with his responses to every question that I had and was very transparent. He made my experience seamless and I would definitely refer anyone to this gem!
Used to be my go-to parts place until I bought a rebuilt diff from from them that lasted 16 days and they refused to warranty it. It would be better to take your money and burn it, at least you know where it went then. Buyer beware on anything they offer with a "warranty", bearings are straight off the boat from China.
Working on a 50 year old Ford dump truck and most of the parts seemed impossible to find but Holst had them and at a decent price. Thanks to Holst I was able to get the PTO operational again. They even had a heater box for it
I was there about 3 yrs ago and was satisfied. Bought a replacement slider for my trailer. In a few days the job was done and with little down time I was ready to roll thus making back some of my lost wages. The men that worked there at that time were priceless. All of this was before Covid so I hope all are ok.
This place is excellent. I go here for parts for my motorhome. They have many wrecked and fire damage RVs that you can pull your own parts from. It is a great savings and able to find parts that are very difficult or impossible to find new. Their prices and service are great and allowed return of parts that did not fit with no problem. They will also pull parts for you but much cheaper if you do it yourself.
I bought a 70 gallon Tuff Tank for my 2016 F350 in January 2017 from Holst and last week had a mishap on the farm and tore a brace off that created a hole in the tank. Called Brad that afternoon and he went to work on getting me a replacement. Tuff Tank out of business and he arranged to have a 65 gallon Titan Tank shipped to me in South Central Alabama. Great service and Brad treated me like a customer that had been doing business with them for years.
What a pleasure to do business with this company. I know now why they have been in business 80 years.

Bought a roll over 2018 M2 Freightliner to repower my 2004 Mt55 Freightliner to meet Ca. emmisions regulations. The unit was perfect as it was described and the price was quite reasonable. This business has about anything you can think of for diesel trucks and semis. Very reasonable priced and they will go out if there way to find the part or put you in the right direction on where you need to go to get that part. The dudes up front are rough looking but super friendly and knowledgeable. You can’t find a part better call these guys.
AMAZING SERVICE !! These guys are incredible. I'm in Miami and found them online in Idaho and they saved my butt. I had been looking for a pulley for an air brake compressor for an '89 F800 grapple truck for months online and around town locally with zero luck. Not even the FORD heavy truck dealer here in the city could help me. I spoke with Richard Blake at Holst Truck Parts and within 24 hours he had sourced the part, pulled it, sandblasted it and inspected it, and sent it on it's way to me all the way across the country. Highly Recommend these guys! I was stuck looking for a 1988 Ford F700 clutch linkage, an obsolete part with Ford. I contacted several companies in hopes of finding something, sadly nothing came up. These guy though were the ONLY ones that took the time and effort to really look for me. I spoke with Shane Piquet who did everything in his power to try and help. Fantastic company. Purchased an ISX engine and a rebuilt transmission for a custom build on a peterbilt. Dane has been an asset in this build, making sure we had the right parts and equipment throughout. Would definitely come back for any future truck part needs.
I bought a wrecked pickup and worked a deal to get all the parts to fix it from them also. I got a great deal and I now have a low mileage pickup for half the price. The staff is great and are always willing to help with any need I have.
Holsts are always great to deal with and their prices are awesome. They have the biggest inventory of truck parts in the region and they almost always have what I need. If they don't have it, they can get it. I do business with them daily and I recommend them to everyone I know.

My husband and I have used Holst Truck Parts and their other divisions for over 10 years. Their prices are reasonable and customer service is outstanding. We asked them if they could build us a custom horse trailer divider so we could safely transport a mare and filly. (I don't believe this is something they normally do.)The Holst boys went above and beyond and even improved our design. I highly recommend Holst Truck Parts and their other divisions.
These guys are as honest as the day is long. We bought a used CAT motor from them to put in a toterhome, and it runs great! They did the install and everyone was wonderful to work with!
Bought a Chevy 6.0 "low mileage used engine" with 63K and 120 psi on all cylinders on it for $1350 with a $350 core charge. After installation upon startup it ran poorly. Compression test showed cylinder 7 had 0 PSI all other cylinders were above 150 psi. Obviously they didn't pull compression. Cylinder leak down test indicated it was due to bad exhaust valve. Also discovered oil pan cracked. They did send a replacement oil pan and sealant free of charge but I lost the 6 hrs labor to replace oil pan that is perfectly acceptable to me and is industry standard. As for the head repair the Parts dept agreed to pay estimate $430 to repair. Once head removed repair cost was $180 more than estimate due to bent pushrods, some lifters worn, broken valve guides. I faxed all receipts in and received a call they were upset it was more than the estimate. I explained all costs and was treated poorly and rudely. He said he would only cover half the gasket costs because I only pulled one side. After several calls we agreed on $500 reimbursement but I was instructed that the core charge was $500 so they would let me keep the core. I told them I was instructed it was a $350 core at time of purchase and he said it does not that in the receipt. I was left with $611 in parts and machine shop bill and over 15 hrs of extra labor. Be very aware when dealing with this salvage yard. Have EVERYTHING in writing even core charge.
I have bought a few used parts from holst and the first time I did, it went well after i badgered them for a few days. Since then i have tried to buy several parts from them. I have talked to Richard, Dane, and several others. I have called every day of the week. Different parts of the day and get the same excuse every time. "The phones are ringing off the hook and we will call you back." No calls. No response. I call later. No response. I do not believe for a second that they are so busy every day, at all times of the day that they cannot check for a part. If i would have had any other options, i would have bought my parts somewhere else
