I have done business with millcreek for many years. I lived in Blackfoot I did business with them. Always polite and right to it.
Nothing different in Idaho falls. Except. They are more... personal I guess you could say. They talk to you they get to know you. I show up and it's a welcome back, even if it's been awhile. I rate them high. I ran over there candle stick and where still nice. Haha
I have been a customer with mill Creek metals for awhile now and I have felt like they have not been good to me they have cheated me on the weights and kinds of metals I have brought in took a bunch of stainless steel in and instead of paying per pd on the stainless it weigh 186 pds and they payed me it per ton with should have paid by pds and same time they payed me for 187 pds on same receipt and called talked to them and never got anywhere with it and they claimed dirty stainless witch was all clean the same stuff and tried to say this one piece was dirty heveist one I had and why I got pd by pds on every thing but the one batch of stainless steel when it was all the same and they decided it up in two things it all should have paid out the same and they went with the lowest price witch was not the same as the recyling price was all clean they took me for over 80.00 by doing it buy the ton .and cheeting me on prices and I feel it because I'm a girl and I walk in front office and see the man that helped with my stuff was whispering to the office girl when I walked in now I know why was having her change it to ton then pounds witch cheeted me a lot of money that way and this has happened before they lost my business
They were quick and treated me with kindness even though it was my first time and I looked like deer in headlights..To the guy who has to empty the trucks in these heat I hope they are paying you good..
It's not the same as Interstate. They are rude and sloppy about the weight. I will never go back and encourage anyone thinking about recycling to look elsewhere !!!
I went back again thinking that things may change. Not a chance. Tuesday morning was a cluster #### the guys just stood around before they were told what to do with the cans,they loaded them on the scale and it read 67lbs. Then I presented a coupon and the guy wondered around to find out what to do with it. When he came back I lost 17 pounds he was only going to pay for 50. I will NEVER go back again and would strongly suggest that any one looking to recycle to use Pacific Recycling !!!
This place rocks. Very good costumer service. It was my first time there and I didn't k ow what to do, or where to go. They came outside and up to my truck without having to be asked. Helped me with what I needed to do and was there to help every step of the way.
This place is great they pay more than other recyclers in town, I'm in an out of there quick and if idk what type of metal I'm recycling.thwy will educate me on that as well as payme in cash, I will for sure recycle there as often as I'm able to.The employees there are very helpful helping to unload the vehicles onto the scale,.that reminds me they have a new drive on scale.that makes it easy to be in m.out of there.and on with my day.
These guys are amazing, they always go above and beyond! Eli is a great manager there, and always makes sure I get the most most possible cash from my scrap.
I've been coming to this location for years. They are my one stop shop for recycling. After dealing with some other recycling centers in Idaho Falls, I was impressed to be treated with some fairness and dignity.
I would say they r great but being a very loyal customer for yrs and and have a 30 mile commute to get to them. And because we were 1 minute late they tell me no. It wouldn't have been that hard to do 2 rims. Now I have no way home because I of having no gas and are not able to feed my kids. I guess I will just go to pacific from now on. Thanks guys for always thinking of yourselves. Maybe your company should think about being open all day on Saturdays since the demand is so high.
So this trip I gathered I was ripped off about 25.00. They only gave me 2 lbs for my copper when I weighed it ahead of time and it was just over ten pounds. On my cast aluminum they were leaning things on the scale, but not actually making sure it was all on and properly weighed. The guy kept arguing and saying oh ya we weighed that and that already when I saw those items never actually touch the scale. I will take my business to another recycling center from now on that was ridiculous. I feel they were personally treating me this way because I am a female.
Love this place! The crew here are so helpful and willing to jump in and help unload whatever you bring in. We don't plan on going anywhere else for any reason. Millcreek metals has our business for good!
The folks here were so helpful, I had a very large load and not a lot of time. They accommodated me and my schedule. Allowed me to drop off in Idaho falls instead of Blackfoot and even helped me to unload. 100% will be back
I always choose millcreek over pacific recycling. They are always so welcoming and know me by name. They've stayed late to help me out and treat me like a friend not just a customer. Always a great experience. This place is my second home.
This place will rip you off especially if you are a female. Old time scale may give proper weight but they hide that from you and claim it is lighter than what it really is. Then pay you below market. It's funny also that for my friend's boyfriend, he gets 40 cents more per pound of copper. Owner SEEMS nice but I think that's to distract you from what's really going on. Go ahead. Take the challenge. See what happens to you. Maybe the company will see this review and start being honest.
This place straight up rips people off. I did a experiment today and preped and weighed out exactly 16lbs of #1 coper and took it in to see if they would internationally rip me off. Sure enuf. I looked up today's market price 2/7/18 and was $2.50-$2.60/lb. The employee weighed my product and without showing me said I had 11lbs. That's 5lbs less than I weighed it at with my digital scale 20 min earlier. I said nothing then he rang me out. $23 bucks. I then asked what todays market price was and he told me $2.10.
He ripped me off a total of $18.60 that's a 40% loss
I can only imagine all the people this happens to daily. Business that has to ripp off its customers don't deserve to stay open.
Customers be ware. Bring your own scale to verify and always have them show you on there system what the metal price is that day. NEVER TAKE THEIR WORD FOR IT.

Take your business to somewhere else like Pacific steel.
To start off with, I have to admit that I'm a newbie when it comes to recycling, especially on an interstate basis. But when I brought in Jessica, a 2,700 lb. beluga whale that I had raised in my indoor aquarium these past years, did the friendly folks at Interstate Recycling say "no way, Jose!"? Nope. Instead I got a big "No problema, senora!". Oh, I should hasten to add that "Jess" had died a few weeks earlier, being as the so-called experts at Interstate Feed in I.F. were no longer able to supply the amounts of beluga feed needed to keep a mature whale going. Jerks!
In any case, Rob (I think that was his name) at Interstate Recycling explained that they would strip Jessica down to all her salable components and snag a better price than any other recycling outfit in the Eastern Idaho region could hope to achieve. Hey, how was I to know that there is still so much demand for horse harnesses and machine belts made from beluga skin? On the other hand, it appears those idiot Aleutians have the blubber market cornered; Rob could do nothing more than dump Jessica's fat into the Snake River. So, all-in-all, I left with a hefty $200 and the knowledge that beluga products were being recycled throughout multiple states; Interstate Recycling lives up to its name!
