This should be an open yard, people like to pull parts themselves. Just some feedback: be more like intermountain auto, have a pull it yourself yard, and then have a yard that only you can pull from, I've come in numerous times looking for very particular parts for a vehicle they have DOZENS of, and they wanted to charge crazy prices, for example, a starter with 130k on it for $75! That's crazy when I can walk next door and pay $30 for one with less miles. (Although I do have to pull it myself, but still not worth $45 extra). Another thing is, they only sell in sets, for example if I wanted a bumper I have to buy the whole thing not just the cover. This is just a frustrating experience when you don't have a lot of money and you are trying to fix your first car.

Called to have a PS pump shipped out of state. Seth was helpful and had the part shipped within the hour. Salvage parts can be a gamble but the pump installed fine with no issues.

Bought a motor to be shipped to Boise. We are a repair shop. We understand that used parts are used and do not carry a warranty. What we do not understand is why a business would sell a broken part to another professional shop in the industry. Now I understand that there are certain things that you cannot know about a part, such as internal issues. But we bought a motor that supposedly ran correctly at the time of removal. This is not possible because we immediately tested the motor compression on the pallet (as is our standard procedure) and found 0 PSI compression in cylinder 4 with 100% leakage via the exhaust valve. There also happened to be 60% leakage from both valves on cylinder 2. Here's my problem with this. There is no way that this motor ran correctly with 0 PSI compression and valve leakage from 3 valves. Therefore, we were sold a bad part, a known bad part. They partially refunded the price, but we're out $300 which they held back. I can understand that we would be liable for the shipping or restocking charges, or whatever the $300 is being held for, if we ordered a good part and they shipped a good part, but we returned it for some other reason. But in this case, we were shipped a known bad part, the proverbial boat anchor, and we are out the $300 which they held back and are not refunding for some reason. As other reviews have warned, they are not willing to work with you and will fall back on the policies of "NO WARRANTY" etc. Sounds a lot like we got talked into buying a junk motor, an intentional act and they're keeping $300 of our money rather than refunding the total price. I could be proven wrong immediately with a $300 refund and would gladly update this review to endorse their integrity. But at this time, I have no faith in ever getting our $300 back and no faith in their integrity as a business. UPDATE: Chase's reply states they have refunded us for the part. The picture below shows the invoice with part price at $1500, core charge at $150, shipping at $150, with a $25 processing fee. We have been refunded $1525 to date. If $300 is being held back for shipping, please refund $150. If the the full price of the part is being refunded, then please refund the remainder of the core charge, which is $125, which would make our total refund $1625, i.e. $1500 for the motor and $150 for the core charge. We will accept either solution.
