We had a check engine light come on in our Nissan Armada while on vacation. Shane fit us right in and was able to run a diagnostic. It was a non-issue so he explained what was happening with the vehicle and didn’t charge us a dime. Extremely good man, and great service!

Needed help on a Saturday with a quick repair to a tow bar. They took the time to help me complete the repair! Thanks so much.

We got a flat tire on our way out of town. We stopped by Shane’s. He got us in very quickly and also repaired our tire quickly as well. He then charged us a very reasonable price. It is hard to find quick and fair car services these days, but Shane is one of the good ones! Highly recommend!

Just wanted to say Shane was a very kind and helpful person. My car slid in ice and hit a barbwire fence which caused the front bumper to fall off and was dragging. We got here and Shane helped us out without expecting anything in return. He was extremely helpful and did it fast and very good. Couldnt be more thankful for him. :)

Frome one Shane to another Shane's Service was great. We were on a family trip and got a flat. He had a full schedule but got us in, fixed it and had us out quickly. The tire is great. Price was beyond reasonable.

Shane is a Great mechanic and really knows everything about every car out there. I bought a Serpentine and Timing belt for my Honda Civic and the Honda mechanic in Pocatello wasn't even sure what each belt was...as compared to Shane, who looked at the belts for 1/10th of a second and said, "Yup, these are what I need to fix it". Meanwhile, the price Honda in Pocatello wanted to replace my belts was $1600.00!!!, while Shane did the belts for $300. Shane also changed my transmission fluid which took him only about ten minutes, and he warned me that I had a bad tire that needed immediate replacement. I would strongly recommend Shane to repair or fix whatever car issue you might have--he can do it all. The only "problem" with Shane is that he's always booked out at least three weeks; however you won't find a better mechanic and you certainly won't find a mechanic with his low prices. Going to Shane's Service is certainly worth the trip. Then go to the nearby Hot Pools and relax, knowing your car is in good hands.

Shane was highly recommended to do my brakes. I had a quote of over$1300 from another place so went to have Shane check them. His estimate was less than half that, but when he finished the work, he only charged $430. He was able to turn the rotors on the front brakes and passed the savings on. Was very pleasantly surprised. Brakes work great and saved money. Great experience. I would definitely recommend Shane.

Shane is the only person that I will allow to do any kind of work on my vehicle and that includes changing the oil. He's polite, peofessy and reasonable. That all matters in my book.

I was having trouble with my Diesel Exhaust System that was preventing me from getting my family home after our vacation. I tried to get an appointment with the dealerships in Pocatello and Logan and they couldn’t get me in for weeks. Both said I would have to leave it there so they could do full diagnostics. I figured I would check with Shane’s to see if they could check it out since I needed to get on the road. Shane was able to reset the system in 10 minutes! BTW, I’m not sure he wants this advertised but….he didn’t charge me anything. Thanks for bailing me out Shane!

I needed a new AGM Deep Cycle battery for my RV. I thought about making the 40 minute drive into Pocatello and buying one at a big box store. But, I was referred to Shane's Service Station. They had them at a very reasonable price. Shane was helpful and even charged up my other AGM battery for free.

Shane is the best mechanic I've ever come across. Always fair and honest. He treats locals like friends and does his best with the workload of tourists through the busy season. Anyone who says otherwise must have some entitlement issues.

Woke up with a flat tire next door at the KOA. Shane gave me an air tank to take over and fill up the tire so I could get my van to his shop. He was able to get me on the road in less than 30 minutes despite his crazy workload. Thanks, Shane!

I had very good service ! I had just arrived from salt lake city and discovered I had two damaged tires that I could not drive on . Shane luckily had a used tire that worked for my car and repaired the other tire well enough for me to get to Pocatello to get new tires . He did all of this in a timely manner and for an unbelievably low price. I'm so grateful for his help !

I couldn't agree with George Green anymore. I grew up here and have seen first hand Shane’s reputation plummet. His willingness to advantage of travelers who are out of options is surprising. Simply bad business

Awesome! Honest, GREAT value, good work. My truck broke down on I-15 and I had it at a different shop. Shane warned me that that other mechanic was dishonest, and I learned the hard way he was right. I had Shane do my timing belt instead and he gave me a great deal and worked quickly. He even went out of his way when he noticed my thermostat needed replacing! I was so happy I had him around.

On a recent vacation trip from Phoenix, AZ to Lava Hot Springs, ID, my '95 Mercury Grand Marquis developed an engine misfire -- # 7 spark plug was the culprit, and Shane took time from his booked-solid schedule to get me going with a new set of spark plugs. Shane's friendly and courteous service was a blessing, and his skill as a mechanic left my wife and I feeling confident that our 900-mile trip back to Phoenix would be worry-free. Shane's prompt and courteous handling of a walk-in customer was a big surprise -- and an even bigger surprise was the REALLY reasonable charge for both parts and labor. I'm a 77-year-old automotive hobbyist and vehicle restorer, and have driven in all 50 states -- never have recommended a mechanic before, but Shane comes highly recommended to any and all who need a competent, courteous, and skillful mechanic.
