I have been going to Garry's for 20 years and have never had a bad experience. Honest, direct and provides free oil changes for veterans, just gives me a warm fuzzy feeling every time I come to the shop. I want to work at Garry's when I grow up!

These guys always have great service and they are always transparent. I’m able to get our vehicles in quickly, they send me everything they find wrong and what their recommendations are. When I call the service advisor, they take the time to speak with me and answer all my questions, which I greatly appreciate. It’s comforting to know that when they find things wrong, I will receive pictures and an explanation of why it needs to be done. They are not pushy on minor things if you’d like to wait, but they do recommend more urgent fixes. Overall, great service and we have always had good experiences. Prices seem to be on par with anywhere else and the turn around on repairs is prompt. I recommend them to friends and family.

Garry's Automotive is the most honest mechanic shop I have ever been to! I have used them a few times with a couple differant vehichles. They have never tried to exggerate an issue. I have always come out spending less than anticipated. All of the guys and girls behind the counter are allways polite and knowledgable. I reccomend them to all my friends and family.

Made me aware of dirty air and cabin filters and dirty brake fluid. So I had the filters replaced and brake fluid flushed and replaced in addition to an oil change and replace missing clips on my skid plate that were taken off by another shop. They accepted the $50 in "Garry cash" I had accumulated and gave me a rides between their shop and my home which is a half hour drive. Great service, reasonable prices.

First time bringing our Jeep to Garry’s and it won’t be our last (it’s a Jeep after all - and the service was great!) They were super nice and helpful. Up front about expectations, on time with every estimate, no pressure to complete every possible issue found - they even categorized them by importance. And she’s running great now!

Emma, our service adviser, immediately understood what we needed and reassured us it would be simple to take care of. True to her word, she made the process quick, easy, and hassle-free. I live out of the state and was needing a vehicle inspected before I purchased. Thanks to the team at Gary’s it all worked out. The photos they took and information they shared about the condition of the vehicle was everything I needed to know what parts to replace, and what to look out for in the future. Great job replacing front struts in my 2019 Ford Ranger. Completed work same day as appointment and at slightly less than the pre-installation estimate. Very easy to schedule service. Will definitely continue to use Garry's Automotive in the future.

We had the absolute BEST experience with this establishment. Jarod worked with us and our car, and he was so honest and trustworthy which is what I value most in a mechanic! It took quite some time working with our vehicle and they were extremely patient with us and did not over charge us at all for the lengthy stay. I can not recommend this place enough!

Took our pickup to Garry's Automotive recently. They have done over $10,000 of work on it previously. They said the fuel pressure regulator/IPR solenoid needed replaced to start with. They had replaced it already less than 10,500 miles ago. If quality parts are being used, as they continually say, it would not have needed changed again. Which they came to the same conclusion AFTER in fact changing it again. But this was just the beginning. Fast forward and they wanted over 5K to get it running, but stated it could go higher. They apparently operate with the notion of changing out good parts to keep the cost climbing. Their prices on parts to labor are definitely inflated as others have recently stated. Not to mention their invoice also said the front brakes needed changed and they could do that, of course. However, Les Schwab took care of the brakes less than a year ago and it's been driven very few miles since! Who looks at this stuff and determines such nonsense? We chose to remove the pickup from this business. Not affordable. Began to lose trust in what they were doing and saying. It doesn't matter what comment you have to this statement, Jared. Really let down in your way of doing business and the honesty was certainly a factor for us. Guarantee we would not ever recommend Garry's. No star is what should be given.

Finally! I found a shop that's straight up and honest about turning wrenches on my car. They went through diagnostic and pinpointed the problem, turns out the car is mechanically solid, just needs an update. Jared explained everything in terms that was easy to understand. Gary's Automotive are the "honest, look you in the eye, firm hand shake" kind of business that we so desperately need in today's life. They're " old school" I will return and highly recommend them!

Want to thank the Team for taking care of me and my family today. A few months ago I had spend quite a bit of money on car repairs only to have the entire car break down less than 15 miles later. A good conversation later and Garys team took care of it and helped make a human decision to credit our account for the money spent as a huge help to me and my family. Excellent customer service. As a lady taking my car to the shop can be a concern but they are not trying to sell unnecessary repairs, listen to your concerns and in my situation put in a significant time and effort into hearing a concern I had regarding my new brakes/rotors they had installed. They investigated and took the steps to correct the concerns free of charge. So thankful and would recommend and do business with them in the future.

If you've ever questioned why the automotive repair industry is often viewed negatively, consider bringing your vehicle here—they practically wrote the manual on dishonesty. If you want a shop that will keep replacing parts on your vehicle until they stumble upon the solution, this is the spot. However, if you're seeking a shop with genuine mechanical expertise, look elsewhere. I have serious concerns about your business practices. When asked about your hourly rate, I believe a prompt answer should be standard. It’s troubling that the total labor hours nearly doubled, yet the amount due remained the same, which seems like an attempt to make your rate appear more favorable. Additionally, your hours were significantly higher than what AllData and Mitchell estimated, and your hourly rate exceeds that of the Mercedes dealership. The nearly 100% markup on parts is also alarming. It feels like you and your team took advantage of a college student in a tough situation, especially with her parents being so far away. Regarding the warranty you mentioned, it raises questions. Does it cover parts and labor, or just parts? A warranty is of little value if it requires paying for labor twice for the same job.

Check engine light still on after replacing both fuel pumps on my car, waiting three weeks and being told a different day my car would be ready EVERY day, and being overcharged for a grand total of almost $5,000. But, thank you for the $60 in “Garry’s Bucks”. Very disappointing as someone who had been the shop before and trusted it.

My backup camera on my car failed. The expert automotive technician that serviced my car quickly determined the cause. I was provided with a repair cost quote that was very fair. Once the repair parts were delivered it took only a short time to remove the failed camera and install the new replacement camera. I was kept informed on the diagnostics and repair progress. Excellent service all around! The team at Garry's were efficient from the start and got my vehicle taken care of on time! After the visit I received an email with photos of my vehicle that they worked on along with some notes about upcoming routine maintenance to be prepared for. No pushy sales tactics!

Gary's service advisor was very professional and accurate in estimating the needed work on our Gmc Acadia. Photos of the worn parts were sent to my email. The work was well done and finished in one day. The final cost was less than the estimate. All of the staff there were courteous and very professional. I am pleased with the experience at Gary's and will go there in the future when our cars need work.

Great customer service, great prices, great timing. Garry’s always gets my vw serviced in a timely manner and their employees have been extremely helpful and nice in every interaction I’ve had with them. I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else (for any non dealer mandatory services).

Took my car in to get a fuel tank connection fixed They found leaks in my oil pan gasket and radiator (didn't leak beforehand) Quoted me $800 to replace an oil pan gasket...yes, $800. Got home and the radiator was dropping 1 quart of coolant a day, which would have been impossible to miss beforehand Cleaned the oil pan and tightened the hose clamp on the main radiator hose and parked over some carboard No leak from oil pan gasket or radiator, seemed fishy.... Finally, turns out the fuel connection still leaks pretty bad after being fixed. Would not recommend as they are expensive compared to other places, I am suspicious of the leaks, and did not end up fixing the issue. They were nice and did the work quickly and did the work that we had agreed on so they have that going for them.

Took our 2013 Ram (We got that Ram luck) for a second opinion. We purchased it from Lythia in Boise & shortly after purchase it started making a clunking under the drivers side. They graciously got me in same day, didn't even charge me for the time to took to get it in the air, show me what they saw, and give me their advice. I left feeling very grateful and educated. After much discussion, hubby and I took the truck back to the first shop to have the work completed. Unfortunately the noise remained. FFWD a couple weeks and the truck broke completely broke down! 5pm on a week day. I immediately called Gary's. They had taken such great care when I was there the last time, I knew that's where the truck needed to go. We had it towed by A1, recommended by Gary's Automotive, to them after hours. The process was so easy. Rich had it diagnosed for us by noon the following day. This is where it became clear that we had that Ram Luck, it's bad luck, if you haven't figured that out by now! Motor was severely damaged when the valve spring broke. We had barely put 150 mi on the 137k it already had. No warning. Ran perfect. Then BAM! Rich, Cody, Jared, and the gentleman at the desk with the healthy beard, they all were so kind and comforting. Jared and Rich both suggested we contact Lythia. It was the right advice because in the end Lythia proved themselves a company with integrity. While this entire experience with that Ram Luck sucked, it was a blessing to have this team at Gary's Automotive in my corner. We didn't spend the $14k to put in a new motor. Lythia gave us a full refund & Gary's Automotive charged us less for the diagnostic than originally quoted. I appreciated being able to prepare for the worst & in the end have the total be less than what was quoted. Jared has been the person I've had the most contact with through this entire Ram Luck experience. He's like the "I'm having a $!@% car day" therapist! Genuinely the most caring and honest voice of reason when dealing with a really difficult situation. I'm grateful to have had his support, personal experience and guidance through this. Needles to say, we will be coming back, and recommending Gary's Automotive to everyone we know.
