So, got myself into a pickle yesterday. Such nice weather, I had to get out in the backcountry for some fun. But, had to leave The Buggy up on a steep hillside overnight East of Boise. Andy, with ACT, bailed me out this morning. He had the stones to drive it out and up the hill when I did not. No damage. I learned from a master. Great dude! Great service!
Jason with ACT showed up within an hour of my call. He gave me instruction ahead of time so that I could attend a work meeting uninterrupted. Once I could get out to speak with him, he let me know my car started up just fine and that I could drive it over to the shop myself to save on tow costs, which was so transparent and awesome. He went out of his way to get over to my place right away and then assisted me when I didn’t even need tow service after all. This is the best customer experience I’ve had in a long time and I’ll be referring Jason and ACT towing to everyone. Thank you!
I was charged almost 600 dollars to get a tow from about 22 miles from Boise. In between here and mt home. The guy was good enough but drove an extra 30 miles to get us which in my opinion was just gouging the price up. I will never use them again.
I had to call this towing company when my vehicle became stuck on a rock on a narrow sketchy dirt road and they exceeded my expectations. Jason is a miracle worker and rescued my car when I was sure it was going to be down there for good. He was also very gentle when handling my vehicle, let me know what damage had been sustained, and helped keep the situation calm, cool, and collected. I highly recommend this company to any adventurers or if you just need help getting your car from point A to B. 10/10 you guys are amazing!
Tremendous service! I could not have had a better experience. They were FAST, responsive, and friendly with my towing experience. Paid contactless on the spot with a card. It was a huge relief to go from calling on the side of the road to problem solved in minutes. They should write a book!
ON 4/9/25 A ACT towing truck passed me on Americana boulevard going at least 50 miles per hour. While towing a 3/4 ton truck on dollies. Almost clipped my front end While passing on the corner going up hill. He immediately hit is brakes at the top of the hill and turned into a auto repair shop. I stopped and asked him if he was in a hurry. He ran up to my car and told me I didn't like it to get out of the car. I refused and left deciding not to call the police for his reckless driving instead called his dispatcher and reported him to them. I asked him his name and he told me jason. I am retired and don't want to fist fight over someone's stupid employee willing to put the community at risk while trashing the company’s reputation. I was going let this go until I read the recent review. Basically pointing out the reckless behavior. Apparently you have a completely different story from your driver. I intently told dispatch I was going 30 miles per hour. And when he passed he Was going at least 50 miles per hour. And in a turn only lane. Which detours to boise Ave. And yes I wanted to get his story and ask his name. That's when he became confrontational. My posts stands as is buyers beware. Same behavior as mentioned in a recent post. And then I have my dash cam footage and my witness in the car.
Furthermore it's not a mile and a half from where this happened, even if you add in coming from the bottom of Americana boulevard. Which in reality happened at the top of the hill at the divided lane. What you call the left lane.
You can take your drivers side, next time I will just call the police.
Josh was remarkable! He was super transparent with my drop off time, parked my car perfectly in the spot I wanted, and even got my keys out of the car (that were stuck for months). Would absolutely use ACT towing again!
Josh towed my Wrangler last night in the spur of the moment and was so kind and professional!! This company rocks! Car wedged down deep in a steep meridian. They did an awesome job using their expertise and leverage with snatch blocks to get the car out and up onto I-84 east of Boise Idaho.

ACT came to my home to tow my vehicle back to a repair shop that just completed work on it. Turns out it was just a dead battery. They gave me a jump and tested my battery and refused to take any payment for their services. Incredibly kind of them. Great service, I definitely recommend them.
I just wanted to highlight Jason's attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for my neighbor and I yesterday evening. He was willing to tow both of our vehicles, although only knowing about one tow until he got here. Each tow was only a couple hundred yards with both going to the same spot and Jason didn'teven bat an eye when asked about the second tow. He was just really awesome and friendly. Very much appreciated.
Outstanding excellent service all around. They also coordinated with my insurance company making things much easier as well. Very kind thru all steps. Way nice.

Had called a few days in advance for a schedule tow and the man I spoke to was very friendly. However, the tow driver (Josh) did not come at the scheduled time. I had to call him and then he came. Didn’t speak all but a couple words to us, and didn’t take the car to right spot originally despite me telling him where to go. Pretty pricey for the service we received.
Edit: Jesse the billing specialist was very friendly and fair and immediately spotted a mistake on their part and refunded me for part of the bill. Thank you

If you need a tow that for some reason they aren't able to do (rare) they will refer you to another reliable, get it done, company. ACT is very easy to work with whether you're stuck, had an accident, or had the misfortune of getting your car impounded. If you have the option to choose who to call, call ACT!

These guys are awesome! Two times in the last 5 years I had a vehicle of mine break down outside of town. My first one was my Blazer about 4 hours away from anywhere and today my f-150 45 minutes away from anywhere up in the foot hills and these guys were quick to respond and also had great conversations each time with each of their drivers on the drive back. Which made a not so great of a day not as horrible as it could have been. They keep their trucks nice and clean and also pay attention while they drive. Thanks again guys! Stay safe out there I know how dangerous it can be to do what you guys do. Your definitely under looked and under credited public service emergency responders.
Started a great day headed to Snowmobile park on Middle Fork Road.
As we turned up-hill to the parking lot we encountered glazed Ice. We slid backward down hill, across Middle Fork Road and over the edge. This put
our enclosed 4 place trailer completely over.
We called ACT towing. They estimated a 60-90 minute wait. Only 30 minutes later they were there, fully equipped and with a tech that knew every trick in the book. He Chained his rig up, drove up the icy hill to a tree where he secured the front of his rig and then ran his back winch cables to my truck.
HE took great care to ease the rig forward and retrieved both truck and trailer.
Once on level ground he did a quick safety check for me and helped get the rig turned around on the narrow road.
The customer service was first class. The skill set that he had was up to the task. I recommend ACT and their great team to anyone that needs the areas BEST towing/recovery company.
(After all was done, We had a great day snowmobiling!)

I initially spoke with Andy and we spoke about my job. My project pickup needed to be moved from Meridian to Eagle. No problem.
Shortly after my call with Andy, I was contacted by Blake. Blake would be handling the tow...this went perfectly.
Communication, Competence, and Service was among the best I've EVER seen.
The icing on the cake was the cost. The price of the tow was well under my expectation; and for a flatbed tow was a great value.
