While we were parked at Pearlridge (near the Macy’s parking garage), our pastor’s car door wouldn’t open because the driver’s side door had been damaged earlier in the week and the key fob battery had just died. We were preparing to call a locksmith when three members of the Waipio Auto Repair team happened to walk by and offered to help. One of them, a master mechanic, quickly used his tools to safely open the door for us something they absolutely didn’t have to stop and do.
Their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help complete strangers really stood out. It’s clear they take pride not only in their work but also in helping the community. Highly recommend Waipio Auto Repair!

I had my first visit with Waipio Auto Repair. First time, I ever brought my car here. I made the decision to do so, based on their yelp reviews. I dont want to say too much of a novel, I am going to do my best to not make this great review too long. I would like to send a shout out to Irene at the front counter and Luzcille. They were both so sweet, kind and accommodating. Times have been very emotionally heavy for me personally, and i had a melt down emotionally, did not mean to. Irene was so kind to help me out at the front counter. She was so gracious, generous, empathetic! Luzcille, thank you so much for also helping me with along side of Irene, also for shuttling me home to my parents and back to the shop once my vehicle was ready. Both of you ladies, are such blessings and I am grateful!
Work is done by a Mercedes’ experienced mechanic. Personnel here are always friendly and courteous. Service is done professionally and at reasonable pricing compared to dealers pricing. Shop also checks with you periodically to see if you’re in need for any services. Also checks to see if service performed was without complaints. Highly Recommend this shop without reservation. Comments are based on doing service here on my Benz for almost 5 years. Service has been consistently great. I’ve used the dealership service also. No comparison as Waipio Auto provides much better customer service, and quality technical service all at seasonable prices.

Luzcille was super accommodating, being able to take me in on a holiday so that I didn't need to take a day off from work. They shared with me everything that they recommended to be done before starting on my vehicle so I could pick and choose according to priority, safety, and cost. They called every step of the way, even just to let me know that because it was a holiday, one of the parts wouldn't be in until later. Super happy with their service, friendliness, and reliability. Definitely will be my go to place for anything dealing with my vehicle!

I found Waipio Auto when I needed a simple oil change for my 2005 Scion xB. Five years later, this is my only “go to” for my car’s needs. I’ve come back for my oil changes, new engine mounts, and even to fix my door actuator. Their location is perfect and not in a busy area, got lots of parking too. The staff are experienced, friendly and easy to talk to. The receptionist/front girl, Luzcille, is super friendly and extremely thorough. They give it to you straight and don’t overcharge you just to make an extra buck. The customer service is top notch, you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend you check them out for all your vehicle’s needs.

I needed a battery change as quite a few service shops don't offer this option. Not a problem with Waipio Auto Repair. Jesse & Luzcille and their staff took care of it in the minimum amount of time required to do this. Make sure you call to reserve a time slot before you go in, - at least 1 day ahead. BTW, - their follow-up is very thorough and consistent.
I have taken my vehicle to Waipio Auto repair about 3 times now and the service is excellent every time. I have an older Nissan Sentra and it is needing more repairs these days. I recently took it in because it would turn on but stall out. I called that morning and they were able to get me in same day! Luzcille provided excellent customer service and answered all my questions in detail. I’m happy with the work done and would recommend this auto repair shop to others!
This shop is absolutely amazing. Ive taken my ford to them twice and each time they finished it quickly, kept me in the loop, and wasnt outrageously expensive. I highly recommend them for anything you need done on a vehicle.

This was my second visit for an oil change. They found one of my belts was worn so they ordered it and it was delivered and repaired in an hour. They gave me an update on what might be due next visit with a price estimate. They texted me a few days later to make sure everything was working well! If you want to take your car to a local shop that is family owned and run, fare prices with knowledgeable mechanics and a friendly atmosphere, this is your shop!
I highly recommend Waipio Auto Repair. I have depended on them for routine maintenance as well as AC and brake repairs on my Tacoma. From intake to mechanics, the shop is staffed with professionals. Excellent follow through on every job, they always checked in after work was completed to ensure I was completely satisfied.
Luzcille, Jesse, and their crew are always very professional. For the both times that I needed service on my Tacoma, they were very efficient in scheduling an appointment and communicated what needed to be repaired and offered other options if they were available. Best mechanic shop around. I’ve been to 3 different mechanics on island & they are the best ones I’ve been too! They always get my car in & out in a very timely matter with everything fixed. I know mechanics tend to have the reputation of overcharging but not Waipio Auto Repair. They’ve always been very transparent with everything and always allow me to review the prices before they proceed with the solution they recommend. I’ve taken 2 different vehicles here and have had great experiences both times. 10/10
I have serviced my car here three times, two oil changes and a transmission flush and I never had issues. Luzcille is very friendly and polite. She even give suggestions where to take your car for services they don’t provide. Their price is competitive.

Great and honest service! Easy to work with and very communicative. We originally took our car to another mechanic on the island who charged us a huge amount of money only to find out that they had installed a faulty, after-market part. Though it took some time, Waipio Auto was the one to discover this and fix the problem at a fair price. Highly recommend.
