these guys were outstanding and had my part nobody else had. excellent customer service too. Im not the smartest car guy but they had me leaving feeling confident.
This may not be the newest flashlight parts store in town but it is my favorite by far. When other stores didn't have the parts for my F-150 or I was told I needed to go to the dealership, these guys had what I needed. Not only that, they walked me through how to install the parts I purchased. The service team collaborated and gave me simple instructions to follow. I had never worked on my truck before and had zero knowledge in automotive repairs. With the staff here I have now successfully replaced the alternator, serpentine belt, u joints, and gear shift cable. They never made me feel stupid for asking questions, they are there to teach and give expert advice.
helpful even though i already know what i am looking for. their site is not helping, i just wanna look up parts and we can’t even look it up on their site. better to see what part they have to match up with part i need. they need a site like O’Reillys and AutoZone, now their sites is really helpful.
Absolutely, so friendly.Everybody here is extremely knowledgeable. Was super worried my car's ball joints were going out., Lyle explain to me how my assembly works as well as the knocking. Noise that I was hearing was just my strut. Boot wearing out and metal hitting metal and there was no danger to it. Just an irritating noise. Look no further!!! Best place to grab a part you seek. Bruddah LYLE was the center register today, he seen me walk in the center isle and he said, " can I help you ". I showed him list from the last purchase to have oil change items needed. 👑Lyle searched for oil filter on his computer screen to locate part, went to grab fluids I needed , by the time I got back to Lyle's work station. I walked in just after opening and went to the parts counter. I told the woman I had a Frankenjeep. It is a 97 with 96 parts. I brought the bag in with the 2 parts I needed. After looking them up, she went and got them, took them out of the box and I inspected each part. They were exactly what I had brought in. Reasonably priced! I'll definitely go back

called a lot of places looking for a very specific part at the time is very hard to find. Called here and they where able to find this and get it to me very fast. I ordered from Maui because nobody else was able to get it to me this fast. Thanks to Gary this process was very easy, would recommend to anybody looking for auto parts even if you aren't on the big island

I Use them a lot. Knowledgeable staff and they almost always have what I need in stock. They usually have the best price to. My only complaint Would be that They close too early. Keep up the good work guys!!!
Very accommodating on a Christmas Eve morning, knowing they will close by 12:00 noon, and I arrived (+)11:30...in, sanitized, got my 2 purchases, and out with time to spare.

Always go here to get my parts. Sometimes get small stuff for cheaper elsewhere but these guys always have the best price on the good parts. If you are like me and want the best replacement parts for your vehicle ASC is the place to go.
I had really bad service on two different occasions. My wait time to be helped was 30 minutes at the beginning of store hours when i was one of two customers there. The second occasion was when Richard assisted me, he kept answering his personal phone while i was explaining what i needed. He had also tended to his wife a few times who was waiting on the side of me as if I wasn’t there.
The lady was super helpful and found the wiper blades I needed at a fair price. I enjoyed my experience but make sure you grab a ticket because its like the soup Naze experience from Jerry Seinfeld, "no soup for you"! There was no one in the store and she was adement about grabbing that ticket. Grab the ticket or you will get a scathing retort about your inability to follow suit... Kind of reminded me of Hannah Arendt and "The Banality of Evil".
Best parts house on the island!!! They have the stuff chain stores don't have.... Like knowledge of automobiles... All the people there are weekend rod warriors and can answer all your questions.. these guys/gals are great... Support local small business and get the best service and parts!!
I asked them three times if they had the correct part for my car and they still sold me the wrong one. Almost destroyed my engine. When I went back to return said part, they told me that their computer said it was the correct part. Yeah well not according to my engine. Instead of trying to fix it, they said it was the manufacturer's fault and told me they would give me a refund and then I needed to get out. Tried to make it my fault that they sold me the wrong part. I wasn't even mad I just wanted it fixed, but when they started saying the sold me the correct part "according to their computer" and telling me to "call the manufacturer" things became a little unprofessional. Go somewhere else for your parts. These guys aren't worth the amount of time you'll waste trying to get any easy job done.
I go here to get all the parts that I need. The are usually always busy. Not bad selection. And most times they have the part that you need, if not then they find you the right ones. They have quite a bit of aftermarket parts as well in stock. Their paint selection is off the charts and they definitely know what they're talking about. The only downfall is that they close on Sunday, when usually that's when cars start to break.
Often find most of what I need at the best prices in Hilo. Good helpful local braddahs running this shop. No wait time for personal service. Workers are helpful and give good caring advice. They not always trying to sell you something, and sometimes give good tips. My favorite auto parts store in Hilo.

Whenever I need a vehicle part I end up checking Automotive supply center, napa, o'rieleys, and carquest. 9 times out of 10 automotive supply center has the OEM spec part at the best price. Great return policy on tools to boot. Never had a bad experience with them.
I do not care of what other people says! Automotive Supply Center is the best auto parts store on Hawaii Island! I been shopping there for my personal auto parts for over 30+ years. I prefer to support "local" business because the money stays in Hawaii.
