This is a predatory towing company in partnership with the sheriffs department and Columbus police department. Recently, I was in a car wreck on I85. While, I was taken to the hospital for treatment Columbus police department officer contacted griffin and griffin towing to come and remove my vehicle from the side of the road. Upon being discharged from the hospital, I contacted the tow company to retrieve my property(truck) and was told when I asked what are the fees so that I can come retrieve my property. Not, one but two reps told me that due to privacy laws they can not give me that information. Knowing that this is illegal I reached out to Columbus police department were I was told to contact the officer who responded to the wreck. That didn't help as Columbus police department stopped answering the phone lines. So, I failed 911 and had Decatur police department contact the Columbus police department and guess what... They didn't answer for them. So, Decatur police department contact the sheriffs office of the county Columbus is located. The Sheriffs office told me that the tow company says that's their policy and there's nothing they can do. Well, I reached out to the FTC(federal trades commission) to file a report and when I told FTC they immediately took the report and submitted it to consumer protection lawyers, stating that Griffin and Griffin towing is partaking in predatorial and deceptive business practices. That by law they cannot withhold information such as fees storage fees or towing fees information from a customer. They cannot require you a customer to verify that you are the owner of your property if the property was told without your consent. Beware this company and call the proper authorities now reach out to FTC
Great experience. Receptionist was so nice and kind. Registration was in truck that they towed for me, so she got a driver to take me to truck to retrieve it. Every so friendly

There services is excellent. They were on time and the driver Kevin was great with communicating with me on what time he was arriving to tow my car. The customer service was excellent also.
Over charged me. Sent me a certified letter with one total due. When I got there they were charging me $600 more than they quoted. Took me over an hour to get car. They were really disorganized and rude.
Got my tow in a matter of minutes, the guy that helped me was pretty chill, and helped get my car to where i asked him to put it in a fairly tight location.

I had my car towed to this wonderful establishment and their customer service was top tier. They were patient, professional, and provided all the information needed to ensure my wrecked vehicle could be picked up timely by my insurance company. Antonio was very pleasant and he escorted me where I needed to go and was very patient with me when I retrieved all my items. Had to come back on a later date cause forgot to get my license plate and Antonio came to the rescue and recovered it for me so I wouldn’t have to go back on the yard. Definitely recommend Griffin & Griffin.

If I could press charges and had proof of my belongings I would. I assume responsibility because my father always told me not to leave things in my car just in case. I was involved in a horrible car accident and this towing service was used. Upon getting out of the hospital and returning to my vehicle to collect my belongings, I noticed my gold ring was missing, my smith and Weston knife was missing and two bottles of prestige cologne were missing. The only reason I’m not giving a 1 star is because the lady that was at the service desk was helpful and polite. Words can’t describe how betrayed I feel by towers who share the same skin color as me. It’s sad out here.
Kevin’s service was outstanding. His courtesy alone is what made me feel comfortable. He got me there in a timely manner as well. Anytime I need a tow from now on I know who to call!
Car was towed by Griffen and Griffen Towing,Inc . After paying the tow fee and dropped off by their attendant in the yard where the car was. Attendant left immediately. Car would not start the flashers were left on. Went back and talked to the receptionist and was told immediately that the flashers were not left on and they had pictures of the car. Ask if she had pictures of the dash to show they were off . No response to the question. Next words out of her mouth was we will jump it off but it will be a $99.00 fee. Customer service is terrible. The only reason I gave it one star is because that’s the lowest you can give them. Very dissatisfied.Would never recommend this company.
I recommend Griffin to you without reservation. I called at 7am on a Saturday morning, and Jasmine politely answered, asking the right questions. Within 15 minutes Kevin came with his truck and was exceptionally courteous, professional, and caring in how he handled my daughter's Hyundai. I went to the shop to get checked in and he arrived shortly afterward, and even when there was a small online issue processing my credit card, Jasmine was once again very helpful. All in, to get my car towed and processed, it took a touch over a half an hour. I'm not sure how they can be this fast, this good, and this professional. It's for all these reasons that I recommend Griffin to you when the unexpected happens - they made it easy! Jasmine and Kevin have my sincere thanks and appreciation!!!
All I’m going to say is Ms.Brenda makes that company a 5 star !! Yes the ladies who answers the phone have great customer service as well but Ms.Brenda is a problem solver. I would use this towing company again
Kevin ,the tow truck driver was very professional .He placed my car in the perfect spot and rolled my window up. All tow truck drivers should be like Kevin. Will recommend Griffin and Griffin to everyone.

My truck was towed to the yard and when I went to get it the lady upfront did her best to get me in and out fast as possible which worked well for me. She was very courteous and the manager was too. I was scared to go because I thought it would be extremely expensive but to my surprise it was reasonable for the amount of time my truck was there. If you ever have to go make sure you have everything you need in order for things to go smoothly and they will definitely try to get you in and out as fast as possible.

The company caused damage to my vehicle during a service appointment and has since declined to accept responsibility for the incident. Despite providing them with detailed information and photographic evidence from the mechanic's assessment, they have still not addressed the issue. I documented the damage and the mechanic's findings thoroughly, but my attempts to resolve this matter have been met with refusal to take accountability.

Mr Kevin Williams was amazing. Such a nice man. I was stranded on the side of the road by myself and I have never needed to ride with the tow truck driver to my destination. But I would 10/10 recommend him again. He made me feel safe. Very nice man! Will be requesting him again if needed.

Great experience,I want to thank Mrs Brenda so much. My car was stolen and my family and I were sadden. I had personal items in my car given to me from my father before his death that ment a lot to me she went above and beyond to help me.
