Wonderful automotive shop. We live in Atlanta and our transmission went out on the way down to Florida. It was myself, my wife and our young daughter and Donnie and his team went above and beyond to help us. They provided fast and very fair service and were incredibly kind. Highly recommend.
My car broke down while on a roadtrip, just passing through. Thomas Auto took us in right away even though they were understaffed for the day. Everyone was so nice and easy to work with! Would highly recommend this shop!

As a single lady, there is no other place that I trust for my automotive needs. Thomas Automotive always gets me in, does the work quickly, and does not overcharge me just because I am a woman and know nothing about vehicles! Honesty and Integrity carries a lot of weight in business!!!
I dropped my car off last night my car was losing power and jurking and shifting bad. Told them about it and thought it was a O2 sensor. She told me it was 2 cylonoids that was affecting the timing. Today she says my car was ready and I would spend almost 400 to fix. When I picked the car back up I seen the check engine light was still on. Didn't think nothing of it because just left the shop. Drove for about 30 min and the car starting messing up doing the same thing I brought it in for!!!!!! After I have paid money!!!! Mind you it's Friday after 5 so they don't open back up until Monday!!! So I'm left without my money and my car is still screwed and can't drive. After this I will never go back to this place again. Leaving my family like this will never be forgiven. Will tell my family and friends to never come here!!!
The very best shop in town. They run it with honesty and integrity. The techs are very good. There's no other place I trust in the south to work on my car. I highly recommend Thomas Auto.
The woman was very nice and helpful throughout the whole process of getting my vehicle fixed. From finding a tow truck that wouldn’t have me waiting for hours to getting the job done! I was told my car would be done the following Monday but received a call telling me it was ready the next morning. They will definitely be my go-to shop from now on!!
We had car troubles on a road trip and happened to land at Thomas Auto. They squeezed us in, drove us back & forth to our hotel, and stepped to do our repair as quickly as possible. Couldn't possibly ask for more.
Took my car in about a month ago due to driving rough and brakes squealing they told me my brakes were fine and I needed struts, sway arm bars, rear suspension, and a steering bushing. I approved the repairs and paid. I drove the car for about a week and steering column shifted come to find out the mechanic left the bolt out of my steering column luckily it shifted in the parking lot at work and not on the road. I am posting so late making sure nothing else was left unfinished. My rear brakes still squeak which I will fix myself and it's still a rough ride so beware for major repairs. Another consolation is for a mess up that could have caused severe injury they did offer a free oil change.
My girlfriend and I travel in our van fulltime as musicians and had been having some van issues for the last month. We'd be in Valdosta for a couple weeks, so I made an appointment.
Our ECM went out once we got there, so we were stranded. Our little home on wheels is all we have and we were absolutely devastated.
The guys at Thomas Auto worked on our van for 3 days and got us back on the road in time for our next show in Nashville.
Can't even begin to thank them for their efforts, knowledge, and kindness they exhibited to us.
Had my car front end alignment done there reception is very nice they got me in and out of there. I still have a little bit of a problem with it car wanting to pull to the right so I'll put be taking it back there and see if they can fix it
We had trouble with our pickup truck and Thomas Auto took us in to fix the truck right away. They gave excellent service and went way above by offering his own truck for us to use to go to the restaurant to eat lunch while they worked on the truck. Outstanding service!!!!!
Most trustworthy mechanics in town with the knowledge you hope to find when entrusting someone to work on your vehicle. They keep an open communication so you know what is wrong and how much it's going to cost. No surprise charges. They will not take advantage of you and they stand behind their word. They want their customers happy when they leave with their vehicle. My experience has been A+! I will continue to use Thomas Auto from here on out. You want regret using them for all your automotive needs.
Saying THANK YOU to Donnie, (the owner), his wife and team doesn’t seem like enough. While on our way from Northern Indiana for vacation to Florida, completely loaded with a weeks worth of supplies, our truck broke down just outside of Valdosta, GA. We limped it to Thomas Auto. It needs a serious overhaul that won’t be ready for at least several days.
After striking out with all the rental car companies, Donnie said “just borrow my truck!” Seriously, complete strangers.. My faith in humanity is restored.

What can be said for an owner who gave up his personal vehicle so we could fulfill our vacation travels while he assessed and fixed our major engine failure. Great business owner and what an example of a Christian man!
They did work on an older car, had it in the shop for 3 months. Rechecked it twice not even a month later it’s going to the shop again. Slow service and low quality. Find someone else to do quality work.
Had a chilling experience in the shop. Going home from Florida on a Friday afternoon,in 90 degree heat,our car broke down and we asked Thomas to help us. I was wearing a mask,and have an accent. He was not wearing a mask,no one in the shop did so that might be the reason for not wanting to help us. He was condescending and dismissive.
After being denied the service,I exited shop,and came back to ask for permission to stay in the parking lot and check the car ourselves. He dismissed me in a very condescending way and did not let me even ask the question,so we left and went to Auto zone,where two black guys helped us with the car in Auto zone parking lot.
We had a 7 year old child in the car in 90 degree heat. No one ever treated us like that in the States or anywhere in the world and we traveled and lived in several other countries. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.
I cannot say enough good things about this place. Everyone was extremely friendly. We are out of towners driving thru and they immediately took the time to look at our van. No more than 2 to 3hrs later we were back on the road and good to go. Quality work and reasonable price as well. To top it all off they allowed us to borrow a vehicle to go eat lunch. Kindest people ever!!!!! My only negative is that we don't live close to come back. Thanks for all your help! We miss our kiddos.

Donnie Thomas and the people that work for him are the best mechanics in south Georgia! They are also the most honest. My family has been going to Thomas Automotive for over 20 years. My brother who lives in Tallahassee brings his vehicles to Donnie! He's the BEST!!!

My vehicle stopped running. Thomas auto worked me in the same day and helped me get back on the road to head out of town. Price and service was great. The lady up front was very helpful and quick responding to questions.
While Driving home from Disney, break light came on. Saw Thomas Auto had a superior rating so we stoped. They found that it was just an electrical problem and we could get home to Ohio without repair. Charged us nothing, not even a service fee. Very kind people! Highly recommend to anyone!
We are traveling in GA but AC in my car all of sudden stopped working. It was just unbearable to drive without AC when outside is above 95℉... I tried to recharge AC but it didn't work. I was lucky found Thomas Auto Repair by Google. Mr. Thomas and his tech did amazing job, even outside of normal working hours because he knows we need to get back on the road this morning.
