After hitting a buzzard and shattering my windshield, a local deputy called a tow truck for me. This was great and within 30 minutes they arrived. However, they told me bc the deputy called and took them out of rotation, it would cost me $200 in cash to have them tow my car about 10 minutes to my home. There were two guys and one took my email address and said he would send me an invoice so I could claim it and get reimbursed by my insurance. I gave them $220, including a tip, and went upon my business getting a rental and whatnot. I never received an invoice, after calling and leaving a couple messages with no response, I feel that I was taken advantage of by these guys. All they needed to do was send me the promised email and they apparently couldn’t be bothered to do so. I also feel like them demanding cash that they were pocketing it. Just really frustrating…$200 is a lot of money.
I called to get towed to a dealership. The owner was concerned with what was wrong with my vehicle. He said he was confident he can fix it and he did. Great prices. Great family. I will highly recommend to take your vehicle to them. They really care about getting u back on the road.
I can’t say enough about how helpful Kell at Dixon’s Wrecker Services was for me and my family. Enterprise left us stranded without a vehicle for about 14 hours. When Kell came to retrieve the vehicle he went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and could get to the nearest enterprise branch to get a replacement vehicle. We would’ve been stuck for much longer without Kell’s help.
