Never any issue there. It behooves me that others complain about the amount of money received for TRASH. It doesn't matter if I receive anything or not, I'm grateful to have somewhere to take it. If you're living off the copper or metal, considering purchasing equipment to refurbish it yourself.
This is the worst scrapyard I’ve ever been too if you expect help getting your scrap car off the trailer they will NOT help!!! Worst customer service I’ve ever seen! I would’ve left no stars but I had to leave at least one
I just went up there with 42 pounds of copper wire and they gave me 8 dollars . No receipt either threatened to call the cops on me because I wanted my copper back then.
6 cents a pound is outrageous on top of only selecting only certain things for scrap. 800 ponds of rust free scrap metal and I only got 50 dollars out of it never going there again
800 lbs of scrap for less than $50!! Worst scrap yard I have ever been to and they don’t tell you where to go they just honk at you and shake their head. Terrible place. .06 cents a pound is ridiculous.
Why would a business who's primary customers work during the week, only be open till 11am on Saturday? You understand most of us work during the week from 9-5. So maybe consider this and adjust your hours accordingly.
I’m a construction plumber and I do a lot of remodel jobs. I always pull out old copper pipe and brass fixtures. The only place I go to recycle the copper I demo is here where I get the highest price and the best customer service
The guys in the front are so helpful and informative on what to look for and expect I found this hidden gem and recommend all my family member. Prices are very affordable too junkyard heaven
I went to Southern Metals Recycling this morning 3.27.2023 for my first time basically because of the reviews on line I appreciate everyone’s positive views. Excellent service, friendly staff, fair pricing, total professionals and a clean yard they are now my scrap yard go to. I had Amanda at the window and she was extremely helpful. Everything was absolutely a great experience. We are Good To Go. If I could give them ten stars I would Y’all have a customer for life
Although their prices fluctuate with the market they're fast and efficient and get you in and out and it's an easy way to make some money for free cuz usually it's stuff you pick up or see and it's free money basically hey what's wrong with free money.
