Upon separation from military service, I was instructed to submit my transportation packet to the designated transportation office. I am attempting to contact the office via the provided phone number, but I have been unable to reach anyone. I require clarification regarding the mailing address for the packet and have specific inquiries about the packet's contents. The lack of responsiveness is proving to be a significant impediment to completing this process.

Someone came out of one of the offices to help me. I haven't been in this building since I retired. And I guess they had changed where you go for for you ID card. And I was going there for my uncle so that he didn't have to drive for two hours to make an appointment. And they also had changed the phone number. The person was very helpful in helping me and my uncle who was on the phone.

I recently did a DD move to fort stewart and financially I was worried I wouldn’t be reimbursed but Mr. Parker and Ms. West made sure that I would get reimbursed in full. They answered all my questions and gave solutions to my financial problems. I recommend to always ask for them if you have any financial issues

I was still marked as Active duty months after I ETS. This lead to a whole host of issues with the VA disability compensation, GI Bill entitlements, and trying to receive Healthcare through tricare. Because of the transitions office incompetent handling of my ETS , making me inelegable for VA disability and educational programs, I had to empty out my savings just to keep a roof over my head. I have made multiple visits to the soldier service center to rectify these issues only to be told that they didn't serve retirees by apathetic staff. If given the option to give out negative stars I would give a rating of negative 5.

This is the only hearing clinic in my 20+ years that has refused to discuss my test results with me. This renders the results useless. They also lied and claimed to have sized me for ear plugs.

I came in with my marriage cert, social security card, Drivers license, birth cert, power of attorney and my DD214. I also brought my deers paper work that they did previously showing that they already had me in the system as his wife. I gave them my active duty ID and they kept it which i expected butttt guess what they cant give me a dependent ID because my maiden name was changed ? and they need me to go get a new DL with my changed last name. Im 4 states away from my home town. This is my 3rd time coming up here tell people everything they need to know in one visit. At this point it feels like a personal agaenda.

After waiting the 6 weeks I was told to in order to receive my passport, I still haven't received anything. The women who work in the passport office do not seem to care or be concerned in the slightest about me not being able to travel on time despite me explaining to them I will have NO WHERE to live in Georgia on May 20th because we must vacate our apartment on post. There have been no efforts made to try and locate or check the status on my application. Now I have no where to go and still no news on my passport.

3 years and running and they still haven’t fixed the phone number issue! The number listed for the soldier service center is the CAC card office. Which in theory shouldn’t be a huge issue since It’s in the same building. The person who answered my call stated this is the “cac card office”. I asked for the general customer service or an automated switchboard number. The lady responded “ this is the cac card office, I don’t know anyone else’s number. ??? How?? Is it so crazy to assume that you might be expected to assist Soldiers since your literal job description is to assist Soldiers as the transition to and from post?

Worst place I have ever been to. The civilians will give you the run around all day and won’t really help at all. I was supposed to PCS 2 months ago from now but i had to defer my orders because of their lack of work ethic.

Website not working to book appointments. Called to schedule appointments and they would not help me set up our Contractors to get their CAC cards. I was told they could not set up the appointments over the phone to do it online. Even though we tell them we have been trying for 2 weeks and unable to get it done online.

I have utilized thiss facility for the past three years. I,have not had any issues I have been a bit frustrated at times but I have had to be humble and understand and accept the processes and rules that have to be followed. I have asked my questions calmly with precise details in order to achieve positive results a little honey goes a long way.

It’s great to see reviews from 1 year ago are still accurate. Called 4 times today and had no answer. I used the number listed above on the page. Left my phone on speaker while driving. It rang the entire ride to work with no answer. You don’t want me to do walk ins, but you don’t answer your phones to schedule appointments?

I’ve called 12 times today nobody answered at all I went up there because me and my husband need to get in rolled into deers and get everything done and we can’t till January 7th so now we can’t mive in our house or get anything done till then they need to try harder they have really upset us today

Ive called 8 times today, not a single answer, why havnt i gone up there? Well for one, the system seems to always be "down" and i also cant seem to get any help while ive been sitting and waiting just to be told later that i have to make an appt. Which is damn near impossible to do because the number to DEERS is never connected, beep beep beep, all you get after first ring, someone show these people how to run a SERVICE CENTER! Maybe if the military paid people they higher who actually have to work for there paychecks this wouldnt happen, guaranteed paychecks for civilian workers was a huge mistake, atleast in the Army there was punishment, these people have absolutely no want to be there and its all over there faces and attitude at work.

Trying to clear post while on holidays is extremely frustrating, with employees being unhelpful, vague, or even condescending, while offices have been on multiple occasions closed or unresponsive via phone, despite being contacted during December's adjusted operation hours. On a positive note, however, the installation clearing instructions are concise and understandable after a careful read, and having some offices cleared digitally even before one receives one's forms saves valuable time.

Wal-Mart has better service than this place. Once you walk in the door they do not even greet you. You must wait until the employees are done with their own conversations and THEN it's "what do you need?". This is a service center and has absolutely no SERVICE. I've never been more disappointed. I really hope whoever is in charge of this place can put some kind of respect in their employees. Everyone in the DEERS department need retrained.

There is an issue every time my dependants and I go in to get our ID cards. Outside of the two or so reps who are kind, helpful and professional, there is an overall negative attitude in this office.
