We have been a customer of Chancy auto service for the past forty years. They always been up to the task of keeping our vehicles in great shape. They are honest and fair and will get the car repaired the first time with no come-backs.

Friendly and professional staff who stand behind their work. Seems there aren't many mechanic shops around like this any more. When I was new to the area and needed work done on my truck, everyone I asked at the office recommended them. Have been impressed.

Chancy recently diagnosed and replaced a bad engine in my wife’s car. The mechanics were very good about explaining what went wrong and what they would do to fix it. They had the car fixed and back to us in a timely manner and were very fair with the price. Overall the whole experience was very pleasant and I would recommend them to anyone needing vehicle repair or service.

My grandparents have been using Chancy for years and recommended them to me. I've moved down into the area a while ago and needed my transmission oil changed. While I was there, I asked if they could do a coolant flush. When I went to pick my car up, the gentleman stated that, however, you asked for it. The coolant flush was not needed because it looked clear and clean. I appreciate the honesty when they could have said we did it and charged me. They will continue to have my business in the future! Instead of taking my money and doing it, they look at whether I actually need the service before just acting on it for the money.

My husband brought my (very rusty) 2005 car to Chancy's for some brake problems, and I will admit I was nervous! The mechanic who spoke with us was incredible and explained the risks and reassured us about the service. My car has never run so well since I've owned it! I am so happy that I get to keep this car alive for a little while longer. Thank you Chancy's Auto!

Driving back home from FL to Ohio on I 75 vehicle started doing weird things and engine died. AAA tow driver Bo suggested Chancy Auto and I am glad he did. They started on our van as soon as Bo unhooked. Found problem within 10 min, previous shop in FL did not lock down connector on TIPM. Thank you Chancy Auto back on the road within 1/2 hr.

My adult (22 yr old) daughter took her vehicle here and they took a look, diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it in the same afternoon! She felt safe (which let’s face it is a difficult task these days) and was certainly fairly priced. All employees we came in contact with were respectful and kind!! I would most certainly recommend them!!

Chancy was highly recommended by many people so when my handicapped mom (80 years old) took her car, a Subaru, to Chancy to have an oil leak looked at, we figured she was in good hands. They didn't find an oil leak but an issue with the upper radiator hose. They let her know about it but told her that they couldn't get the part to fix the radiator hose because the local Subaru dealer wouldn't give them parts. They wouldn't fix it. Pay them $70 but take it to the dealership. We called Subaru and they said that they hadn't been called by Chancy in 2 years and that they would happily provide the parts. That Chancy was calling Gwinnet Subaru. Macon Subaru called Chancy to fix the problem and somehow the problem got worse. Subaru wanted Chancy to be able to get the parts. We wanted to know why it was so hard for Chancy to get parts. They are a good garage according to everyone we talked to, so of course they could source parts. My mom called Chancy this morning frustrated but hopeful. Subaru could get the part to them. She was very concerned about her car overheating and killing the engine (now we could smell antifreeze) and didn't want to chance driving it to Macon. Chancy said he will not work on Subarus anymore. This, he says after charging her $70 to diagnose a problem on her vehicle, i assume to repair it. It makes no sense to take a vehicle to diagnose that you won't fix. Mom then tried to get an appointment with Subaru only to be told that Subaru won't serve her now. They are mad that she had questions about parts getting to other garages. We are confused. We were just asking questions. We took it to Raffield and they were more than willing to fix the radiator hose. No problem. We still have an oil leak problem and Raffield said they can't do that because it's a big process. It IS a BIG process. Now, we still have a problem that is unsolvable because we have somehow made everyone mad at us. We don't want a discount, we just want the vehicle repaired by someone. And we don't want any business to lose business right now, we just want a resolution to the engine problem we have.

If you need anything done to your vehicle, done right the first time and at an affordable price..... Chancy's is where to go. I've taken my vehicles and my children's there for going on 10 years now. Most of the time they are easily 20% cheaper than anywhere else and almost always give me a final bill under their quote. They don't upsell or try to sell you what isn't needed. They speak simple language in facts. Honestly it's a HUGE breath of fresh air compared to a dealership garage.

Cory was recomended by family. He explained the problem with my wife's air-conditioning and gave us a fair price. Then I left my van for new breaks. We trust him and are very grateful

Can't say enough good things about Chancy Auto! They do excellent work, and rates are MUCH more reasonable than any dealership. No upsells, no unnecessary "while we're at it" work. Best auto care place in town!

Special thanks to Kevin and the crew for repairing an electrical issue on my 2018 Dord Fo us. I was also very appreciative to find that they had moved the driver's seat all the way back. As someone who is 6'8",this is very welcomed! D J Martin

Recommended to Chancy by a friend. We had a breakdown nearby and considered towing to Chancy for repair. Chancy was responsive and helpful via Facebook messages when we had questions about their services and work hours. They responded even though they were closed and it was after hours on Christmas weekend. They even recommended a 3rd party repair shop since they were closed for a few days around the holidays. Luckily, we were able to fix the car ourselves and avoid the tow, but we will definitely use Chancy in the future. 5 stars for their responsiveness and communication.

I have taken my stuff here for several years. I also consider myself mechanically inclined but I just don’t have time to work on my own stuff and some of the new stuff is complicated. They stay busy so if you need work done call ahead. I miss the in house wrecker service they use to offer. Great work and communication. They’ve always taken care of my stuff

When the check engine light appeared on the third day of my cross-country trip, I found the good reviews about Chancy Auto and drove out of my way to get there. This business is worth going out of the way for! They diagnosed and repaired the problem immediately for a great rate. Wonderful group of people!

The old saying "Good, Fast, Affordable;" you can choose two options of the three when getting your car fixed. Years ago Chancy was the place you got Good and Affordable, but you might wait two weeks before they could look at your car do to their backlog. The last time I went there about a year or two ago, after moving back here, I was shocked when they said they could get me in the next day. I have no complaints about the quality, but they swapped out being affordable for being fast. When I started comparing prices for future work I could not do myself, they never had the lowest cost, not even close. Places like Tires Plus on Russell is open on weekends and was quoting the same work for hundreds of dollars less.

We're in town working, so finding a reputable mechanic can be scary; especially after the nightmare we had at Jeff Smith Commercial buying a truck (that'sa different review)... Chancy has worked on both of our vehicles, Ram truck and Chevy SUV, we have been highly impressed with their service. Definitely recommend!

I was concerned when moving back to Middle GA about finding a good place to take my vehicle for repairs. A friend recommended Chancy Auto. I tried them and I'm super glad I did. They have been honest with me at every turn. They've honored their work as well when I had a rear bearing in my Tundra that needed to be taken back for a venting issue. They don't try to tell me what other unrelated things need to be repaired. They don't ask me for a bunch of useless personal information or try to set me up with other promotions. They've done what I've asked them to do and nothing more. That I know of, this company doesn't advertise (maybe a sign at a baseball field or something) they don't even have a sign by the road indicating where they're located yet they are busy with a wait of a few days before they can look at a vehicle. My truck is there now for a drive shaft vibration and I expect no less than what I've been talking about. I will always use them and recommend them to anyone I can. Thank you Chancy Auto.

Have used Chancys for all my auto repair for 20+ years. Have always found them to be honest, courteous, and reasonably priced, but most importantly they do good work. The only drawback is because they are so popular you might have to wait a few days to get your vehicle worked on.

This business is the first place choice for our auto repair needs. Not only did they professionally fix multiple problems with my vehicle, they repaired a few factory parts that weren't addressed. This improved the overall performance of my truck. I am so grateful for this business! I would recommend anyone to stop here first and get it done right the first time!

I've used Chancy Auto for all of my automotive repair needs. I've had major engine work, AC, tires and just oil changes performed by them. Their prices are fair and usually less than others. They are honest with you about what work needs to be done and upfront about the pricing. I highly recommend using them.

Very happy with the service here. Much faster then I expected it to be. They were very thoughtful of the expenses, very methodical in their approach, and very honest about what needed to be done. They worked on my 2006 F150 and fixed an engine tick, suspension issues, and a 4 WD problem. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them again in the future.

Unsolicited Review: Highly recommended, great staff, work done was as quoted and on time and, very fairly priced. I had quite a bit of engine repair done. New timing chains, water pump, gaskets replaced, and more. I'm very satisfied and will come back in the future for any work that is needed. You'll need to schedule an appointment for an estimate in some cases but the quality of the work is well worth any wait. Great job!!!

Have taken my vehicles to Chancys for years. Always great service. Always call me with an estimate before they do work. Work has always been excellent. I never have to worry about them doing unnecessary work. Everyone is always very kind and helpful and happily explain things to me.
