Went there today. It was a great experience. Price was very reasonable. Staff was great. I had a trailer but only 1/2 of it was being dumped. I stepped out of the truck and pointed out what was not being left, tools and mower. The scale master looked it over and I was pleasantly surprised at the cost. I had read the other reviews and was expecting a huge price! I've been in the business for 30 yrs, we had scaled back hauling debris with all the other places closing over the years but now I wont turn anymore of these jobs away.
The facility is a little confusing but pay attention to the signs. They will direct you to the office and from there was directed up top to unload. The layout is great for dumping your load. I backed in where I could unload into both the trash pile and the metal dumpster. If your dumping both metal and trash, plan ahead and load/separate it for easier unloading. This facility will be in my wheelhouse from now on!
They make up their prices , so don’t expect price consistency , plus the unloaders are rude as hell, like they doing it for free or something. They better pay them good because they sure are charging good.
Prices are not consistent with loads. I was charged $95 for a fully loaded trailer of wood and a couch. The next day I had the same trailer with a load that had a 3rd of the amount from the previous day and was charged $60. And then later that day a load that was a full trailer , $48. The person at the entrance is guestimating and just randomly charging you. No consistency in pricing. This place needs a scale and consistant pricing. Unfortunately this is the only place a henry county resident can bring bulk loads. We are at the wim of what she feels like charging.

I won’t be going back here anymore, I don’t know what changed but I’ve been here on over 7 occasions with yard debris and I was charged more today than all those times combined. $70.28 is crazy considering I’ve brought more debris in a single trip before. All I heard was the 20 part, if I would’ve heard $70 I definitely would have left that outrageous for what I had🤦🏽♂️
Their business and operations give glory to God who created the heavens and the earth, which is the key to worthwhile success. They offer a service (waste removal, dumping, recycling, etc.) that can be intimidating to first time customers but they make it very simple, fair priced, and they make you feel welcomed and valued. They operate in a timely manner and are ready to help you get in and out, get rid of what you need to get rid of, in a stress free experience. They do take carpet thankfully and charged me $37 (visa) for a pickup truck bed full of carpet.
Best dump ever! Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Cheapest prices around! Wesley is so sweet and always helps me unload. I reccomend this place to everyone!
Really like having this place not too far from the house. We had a great experience getting rid of a few box springs, metal bed frames and a mattress along with other bedding stuff and boxes for our new bed frame. It was super cheap (half what the company we bought our new mattress from was charging to remove one mattress). Well worth the stop
This place is great. Quick easy access, and super friendly staff. Very reasonable prices, especially when they have to be the ones at the end of the day to haul it all away.
Let me share my experience. I've been in waste management over 15 years. I have been to every landfill in Georgia This one is privately owned but that does not excuse the unfair "PRICE GOUGING" that they do. I was driving a box truck The lady looks at what I have in the truck and quotes me a price of $243. I was shocked because I know at any other landfill it would be no more that $120 and I am comparing it to the highest priced landfill in Georgia because most of them charge by the ton/weight and what I had would be about half a ton. The lady then says she is cutting me a deal because she usually charges $375 for a full box truck and since I have less than half she is charging me half of that price. I'm not a teacher but I tried to inform the lady that half of $375 is not $243. She shrugged her shoulders and I got ready to leave but then I turned back around and went back in line and asked for a manager because she asked me if I want to speak to one. She goes and gets the manager and the manager comes out and looks at the inside of the truck and she says okay we will charge you $296. If this isn't already crazy to anybody reading this you can imagine the look on my face. I proceeded to tell her what my first price was so she agreed to honor the first price her employee gave me. Since I could not make it to any other dump or landfill I went ahead and used their facilities. So let this be a warning that if you are doing any work in Henry county you better plan accordingly and start early so that you can make it to any other landfill or transfer station because you will regret coming here and being unfairly price haggled. I hate to say that I have been here more than once to this facility and every time I come, they play this guessing game with the prices and it beats me up every time. If they had a fair and transparent pricing structure it would be no problem however what they do is just ridiculous to me as a business, private or not.
Sidenote! The 2 or 3 guys that work at the top where you unload your trash are super nice and helpful. You will only get attitude and rudeness from the men and women at the bottom when you come in.
On another note: Read the owner and managements reply. They edited it 2 or 3 times . They may edit it again but it does not deserve a response from me other than I just realized I have to go back to their city tomorrow and I will be avoiding this facility at all costs I have placed it as "Do Not Go" in my Maps. I have not edited my review once. It will remain as it is as to what my experiences have been.
Awesome and convenient business. The stay is very friendly and knowledgeable and has no problem helping you with directions on where stuff goes. I will most definitely be a repeat customer.
Super easy to get in and out. People there were friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable since it is privately owned. The girl in the office is hilarious.
This place is so awesome, if you need to dump stuff for a good price! The girl at the window is super nice and made sure I wasn’t over charged and the guy Mark up there is super helpful too!! I even bought wood from there when my power went out couple weeks ago from the snow and stuff!! I will take dumps here whenever I need to!
I've been coming here for a few years now. Best thing to Happen to Henry County, The prices are always fair. The girl in the office is always kind. She's always a joy to interact with.
Back at the dump today with Crib, mattress, wooden changing table, cardboard, old rolling trash can, rusty fire pit, old air fryer, and metal tiki torches, $30!! This place is so convenient too. Just minutes from the McDonough Square
2024-This is some of the trash we left. Also, 2 grills, vacuum cleaner, disassembled bball goal, headboard, rails, barstools, nightstand, electrical cords. Easy process, employees take care of everything, pull off the truck. $35- $10 for metals! So glad to know this business is here. Considered going to Dekalb Landfill. Glad I don't have to. The check-in attendant could've been a little nicer when asking move truck ahead.
I have been going there for some years now and I have never met so nicer people. Some places like this have an attitude but these guys are so nice and I thank them for their hospitality.
My husband cleaned our garage out. He said this place was great. We had a mattress, some old junk and a bunch of pieces of lumber. He was in and out. Prices were good, clear and no hidden fees
I have used this business multiple times to dump yard debris bags and other various items. I must say I am a repeat customer because the staff is extremely friendly, professional, and always helpful. Also the prices are really agreeable. I will definitely continue to use this business!!!!

DO NOT GO HERE! My family just moved to the area and we have a tone of boxes that needed to be thrown away. My wife called on Friday Saturday 10/9/2020 to inquire about the pricing. She was informed that the cost would be a flat rate of $5 and any other papers/trash in the boxes would have to be removed from the boxes. We spent all afternoon removing the paper from the boxes and putting them in separate trash bags. We also condensed the boxes down to make it easier to dispose of. When I arrived at the establishment with my Uhaul, I was greeted by a woman named Jessica. It was a COMPLETE bait and switch. She told me that she would “give me a deal” and then charged me $90 to dump my condensed boxes and trash bags filled with paper. This was considerably more than we were originally quoted when we called the first time and considerably more than the other Waste and Recycling places that we had priced out. Since we were in a hurry and had to get the truck back to the rental company... I reluctantly paid the extremely jacked up price. When I got home. My wife explained that she took detailed notes on the call with Jessica and that we did exactly what was asked. There was no reason we should have been charged $85 more than what we were originally quoted. When we called to ask about the questionable practices, Jessica said that she charged us more because there was “trash” in the truck and that’s what caused the price to be more. Jessica didn’t even have me open the back of the truck. She just looked at it and gave me a ridiculously high price. Had she opened the back, she would have seen that it was only boxed and bags of packing paper. I prefer not to be confrontational, but as a senior member of leadership for a large company, I understand the importance of ethical business practices and based off of my experience with this company today, I will not be recommending it to my friends, family and business colleagues. I will also NEVER return!

It was my first time coming here and had a wonderful experience, especially the front office woman. She was very friendly and carefully explained how it worked here. It was very easy to dump my stuff(Old Deck Wood). The only thing was I had went to another dump and they had people ready to help unload my things. Yes this load was easy enough for me to unload myself, but if I am paying something I would mind a little help to get out faster. But overall I had a great experience, would definitely come back and recommend to others
I’m so glad there is a fast, friendly and reasonable place to dump all household goods however I was baffled by how we went on a Wednesday with a small bed pickup truck and they she said we had over a 1000lbs ( the heaviest thing we had on it was a 40in old TV) we questioned the lady that was working and she said she going by the scale ( which is understandable) but then went back on Thursday (very next day) with a loaded 15foot uhaul with deep freezers, mattresses, small appliances, etc loaded from front to back and it was cheaper than the short bed?? Overall Great experience! Thanks
