Great place questionable staff. Some of the best finds ever. Good prices. Fun place to shop. BUT damn do the women working here need some manners!!!! They cough all out in the open most never cover their mouth. When they do it's with their hand and then they are stocking or checking you out touching everything. Blughhhhh it's gross. I had to disinfect stuff when I got home, she just coughed all over it while ringing it up! Most are so incredibly rude. God forbid you get in their way. They will cut right in front of you with zero regard that you are the customer, no excuse me, no sorry. Just walk right in front of you. My wife won't even go in here anymore. Great place BAD etiquette!!!!

DO NOT SHOP HERE IF YOU ARE IMMUNOCOMPROMISED OR HIGH RISK. I went in on Tuesday 2/11 and half of the employees who were stocking shelves were coughing, no face mask in sight. One employee with shoulder length grey hair walked past me in an aisle coughing the entire time, right in my face, seemingly unaware that I was even there. I am 17 weeks pregnant with twins. I woke up the next morning, 2/12 with a cough that has quickly progressed to the flu. It is now 4 days later and I have been bed ridden with a fever since. I am still astounded at the amount of employees openly coughing with customers present — STAY HOME IF YOURE SICK, think about your community especially the elderly and at risk individuals.

Around two weeks ago, I bought a mini fridge from 129 salvage store. Before leaving for vacation, I unloaded it and left it in my garage. When I opened it today, I noticed the top edge was crushed. I figured it wasn’t a big deal and assumed it would still work, one of the risks of buying from a salvage store. But once I fully unpacked it, I saw the bottom, where the compressor is, was completely out of place, and the base was crushed in. I still decided to plug it in, hoping it might work, but unfortunately, it didn’t. It’s frustrating because the store only has a 2-day return policy with a receipt, so now I’m out $100. Lesson learned, I won’t be buying large items from there again. It seems they don't check items when they come in, so please check them as soon as you get home.

It's always fun to go in and see whatever they have at the moment. So if you go get the item now or you will lose out .Great ladies up front

I’ve been coming to 129 Savage J for years, spending hundreds of dollars without any issues—until now. I went to buy a tree for over $150, paid with no problem, and everything was fine. But when I went back to make a $50 purchase, this older lady (who I’m guessing is the owner) had the audacity to demand my ID, claiming my debit card didn’t match. Are you serious? My wife and I share a joint debit account—why the hell would I need to prove anything? Her attitude was beyond rude—absolutely disgusting. She treated me like a criminal over a $50 purchase. This is not how you treat loyal customers who have been supporting your business for years. And to top it off, there’s no posted policy anywhere about needing ID, so how are people supposed to know about this ridiculous rule? This was a humiliating, infuriating experience. I don’t trust them with my information, and I’ll make sure everyone knows how poorly they treat their customers. I will be writing more reviews and posting updates. Stay away from this place—save yourself the frustration.

Great place to buy the thing you want but can't afford at full price. They are always rotating items, and their hard work pays off immensely. Very clean place. I always love that they start trickling seasonal things before the season begins so I can get ahead of the crowds. They were very nice to hold my items when I had an emergency and had to vamoose. My items were still there when I got back, so I ended up buying even more! Kind people, great workers, hard-working people who treat you like an old friend. You'll feel right at home in 129 salvage. The two young ones who somehow loaded a 7.5ft tree in my tiny sedan are true pros! I still don't know how they did it.

My FAVORITE place to shop when I come home to visit my parents. My family has been enjoying 129 Salvage for MANY years. The owner is a wonderful, generous person who has done a lot for the community. The store is always organized and tidy, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I specifically recommend 129 to families who are struggling to make ends meet right now due to inflation. I'm able to buy many grocery and household items I wouldn't normally purchase because of the price. There's no telling what kind of bargain you might find at 129, but it's ALWAYS worth the trip!

It’s always an adventure to go here. You never know what you’ll find. I don’t go very often, but when I do, I usually get a cart full of things (some that I didn’t even know I needed). I always find bargains on cleaning products, cosmetics and food. They have good prices on cases of energy drinks and unusual items (cheap sample sizes give me a chance to try new products). The selection of goods is incredible, but you should grab it when you see it, otherwise it may be gone when you return. Stock is constantly changing and being replaced. They have a little bit of everything in household goods, tools, pet supplies and gardening. From light fixtures and faucets, even paint, to car parts, fans and lawnmowers, you’ll surely find a bargain on something useful.

This place is no longer a local secret. It has been very busy, especially on Saturdays (closed Sundays). Seems to me that the best time to go is when it first opens. UPDATE: They have rearranged and organized the inside. It's definitely an improvement! Don't miss out on the great buys!

One of my favorite places to pop in on a Saturday after payday. Beware, you might blow your whole paycheck! I've been shopping here since I was a kid. Like 30 years ago I saved my birthday money and bought a pair of roller skates from here. Now I'm buying discounted pull-ups, stuff to stock my first-aid cabinet, fishing lures, and snacks for my kids. My, how times have changed!

I’ve enjoyed shopping here the last few years but lately I’ve been disappointed in the staff especially when checking out. There’s one girl that always friendly & that’s it (wish I knew her name)! Today I was overcharged $17 and when I questioned the price she said the $20-original priced snow pants were $19.99-NO! They were $3.99. Watch and check your receipt! I’ve thought several times I was overcharged and today I knew I was as I only bought a few items so there was no way. Not sure what’s happened to this place/staff but I hope it changes.

Has some good deals. Found some bird seed. They say it gets new items weekly. So you never know what you will come across. Plenty of cleaning supplies. Grills, cereal, drinks, tools, clothes, diapers etc. Lot of stuff cheaper than a dollar store. The cashier, Katie, was very kind. But, I do know her. So I just thought I'd mention her.

I love this store. I find great deals on lots of things. From batteries to makeup to animal needs..lawn furniture , shoes , jewelry, tools, kitchen wares. Gotta check it out! Its also pretty well organized and prices on everything to be this type of store which could be in caos. The staff is doing well keeping maintained while so many people are in and out.
