My dad has been doing business with Bill Crabtree. He has restored a 1968 Camaro and Bill was instrumental in working with dad on a couple of part related issues. That car was completed and came out very nice. He's now in the process of doing another one and is again, asking for Bill's expertise and will be moving forward with parts orders to complete his next project.
I had a question on one of the many part I have gotten for my 1968 Hurst Olds Car #2 that I am restoring. I stop by and Bill and Frank where a great Help. After working with them they where able replace the part with a new one. Now it fits and looks great. Thank You for all the help and the great Customer Service. I will see you at next years AMD car show.
I have been doing business with AMD for quite some time now as a builder and the owner of a Muscle car, Hot rod and Restomod shop.
Since 2017 I have been dealing direct with Bill Crabtree, because I know everytime I call in for parts or advice regarding a certain build, he is right on board with me trying to meet our needs.
As an assembler in the passed for AMD as well he knows the parts and how to work with them.
This to me is huge.
I don't want to talk to someone that just types in a number and sees a part. I want to talk with someone that has experience working with the parts and knows the way around any issues if any occur.
AMD has the best quality parts in the industry in my eyes, and as a builder I have used quite a few good name brands, but when it comes to fitment there is only one name.

The customer service was awesome and would give 10 stars if possible. I bought many body panels and miscellaneous pieces from AMD. All of them fit as they should, however I did have a problem with some large components. The fit was fine but a major body line did not match up with other parts on the vehicle. I talked with Seth in their customer service dept and after providing documentation of the problem he was able to fully refund my money. Needless to say, this is excellent customer service.
I would easily recommend AMD to all my colleagues.
Employees were very rude! If they don’t like their job, they should quit. Their attitude is a reflection of the company they work for. And them being jerks makes the company look bad.
Corey Reagan was able to assist me in the return of a product that had a minor flaw. He was more than helpful and all-around great customer service. I’ll only use AMD. Great job AMD!!!
Bought the AMD upper and lower cowl for my 71 Torino GT and installed them and have to say the parts were spot on and fit flawlessly!! I'm in amazement at the quality of the cowl and fitments. I'm hooked. Now I have to save up and get the two rear quarter panels for my GT Torino. Please keep up the awesome work!! Edit**. Just stumbled upon a YouTube video with a tour of factory and the guy (Walt?) in the "broom closet" R&D area lol... The companies dedication to making an awesome product shows in the R&D !! Awesome!
I recently visited AMD as I was in need of a fuel tank for my classic. As fate would have it, a few weeks prior to my visit, my classic unexpectedly became my daily driver! I live within 2 hrs of AMD, so I chose to go there to pick up the quarter panels for my '69 Firebird, instead of having them shipped. AMD was very accommodating when I asked to open the boxes to inspect them before loading on my truck. All in all, good pricing, professional help, and a nice experience.
Had a 1969 Ford Ranchero with some severely rusted out torque boxes. AMD had perfect replica replacement parts at a reasonable price. High quality, perfect fit, excellent service. It was hard work, but having the right parts made it as smooth as possible. I appreciate this place being around.
Absolutely love AMD. We’ve ordered whole bed kits from this company and everything has arrived in perfect condition. Also, the quality is amazing. Thick gauge metal, just as heavy as OEM ford panels. I just installed the steel grille and chrome bumper on my 1976 F250 and the fit and finish was fantastic! Just received my 4 inch cowl hood. Took about a week to get it from the purchase date. Not a big deal, especially with everything going on with the world. I'm very happy with it. Would definitely order again from AMD!!
This is a great place if you are restoring a car. Stopped by their headquarters on a trip just to see the Ford Galaxie in their showroom. In process of restoring one and needed to get some details. Let me look all over the thing, take pictures and ask questions. Very friendly and helpful. Have ordered parts on line from here with no issues.
A little disgruntled with AMD’s customer service. Contacted them regarding a 1968 Dart left front fender I purchased. It is off by 1”. I ended up having to cut the front lower part of the fender lip and reweld. Paid way too much money for it not to be right and to not get better customer service.
Ordered a new hood for my 68 Torino.
Refused delivery because of 2 dents in hood. They shipped me a new one.
It took 2weeks to get it. It also is damaged! Corner is dented in.
Delivery driver left without me signing for it and inspecting completely.
Called AMD now waiting for return call.
Not happy! Waiting to see what's going to be done about this . Packaging of their product is terrible.
Ordered a roof skin late one afternoon. It arrived in perfect condition 4 days later. Even the trucking service that delivered the part was very understanding and professional. Keep up the good work AMD!
Thank you Dustin for all your help today. He was friendly and very helpful. We got all the needed parts for the 69 fastback Fairlane .The price was lower than expected. We were striving from the long drive Dustin recommended a great Mexican restaurant when we got back it was ready to be loaned. Thanks again !!
I kept hearing nothing but good things about AMD, but be aware!!! their packaging for shipping is the worst! Everything... Everything I've ordered showed up with shipping damage. Fenders, Hood, Trunk lid, inner fenders, even patch panels. All ordered at different times, all had damage.
