Robert is a hero! He saved the day when my friend ran out of gas and drained her battery in a dangerous spot on the side of the road. He pulled up behind us with his lights on and helped us get her back on the road safely! When my friend asked him how much she owed him, he told her to go get some gas. Best Group of people ever. I own a business just down the road from Hulsey's towing. I was a moron and ran out of gas. A lady from my shop came to help me, as we were putting gas in Robert happend by and stopped his truck behind mine with lights on. He didn't want us to get hit. When I tried to start my car he said sounded like my battery. Jumped my car and it started right away. Robert said, "Now go get gas!" He stood in the road till I got out safely. Would NOT take any money for his help. Thank you Robert you're my Angel.
I want to personally thank Hulsey Wrecker Service and especially Robert. I was driving my husband’s Ford F250 in Gainesville, where it went completely dead in the middle of Jesse Jewell & EE Butler at the turning light. I had waited patiently for Robert to come and jump the truck off to where I could it too a safe location for him to tow it. If it wasn’t for his kindness and expertise, the experience could have turned out to be different. Thank you Robert!
Would not recommend. After a week of being patient and trying to communicate with the office to try and get a proper receipt they refused to send one with the information we needed to get reimbursed through our insurance company . Not only over priced, but unprofessional. She told me to just "write it on there" and I'm not typically in the business of forging legal documents. I've literally wasted over two hours of trying to figure out how to get the insurance company what we need to get a refund. Hulsey already got their cash money, so who cares?
I had a flat tire, and called with no expectations to have my problem addressed until the next day - they were there in 15 minutes! I was so impressed with them!! Thank you so much for making our tire issue not an issue!

These guys came through for me on a Friday night when I had a flat tire (and no spare!) about 30 minutes from Gainesville. Freddy was great -- he had left to go home for the evening and turned around to come get me when I called. Great wrecker service -- highly recommend.
I’ve gotta say I’ve had many experiences with towing companies and I just can’t believe how good this company is. Robert arrived within about 3 minutes after I called. He was very cordial and friendly. He had my car up on the rollback quickly and got it off the rollback just as quickly. Friendly and professional the entire time.

We were visiting our son, daughter-in-law and new grand baby, coming from Jefferson Ga going through Gainesville to get back home in Hayesville NC this past Saturday when our truck broke down. It was late in the afternoon. We found Hulsey Towing on a website and called and the nicest guy named Robert came to our rescue, he was there in no time!
There were four of us including two small dogs. Luckily he got us to the Honda dealership before they closed at 6pm. We didn’t know if all of us would fit in his truck so we told Robert that two could stay behind until we could find a rental car, but he said he would not leave us behind, he went the extra mile to see we all fit in his truck!! Unfortunately the rental places were closed. The dealership loaned us a car to get back home, amazing luck we had meeting Robert! If he had not been on time no telling where we would have been! We had to get a towing service when my husbands car broke down and we reached out to Hulsey Towing. Robert was our driver . Super nice guy , he immediately made us laugh even if it was in an unpleasant situation (no one likes car trouble) but his smile and personality made it feel less stressful. My truck broke down so I called hulsey. 1st time using. I had to wait a little while for driver to arrive but I understand that they are busy and I had to just wait my turn. Once the driver arrived everything went fantastic. Robert was about as professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I will always try and request Robert in the future if I need another tow. My car broke down at Kroger on Thompson Br. Robert came to tow us, but instead found the problem, fixed it and followed us to AutoZone to get the battery and alternator checked out. He could’ve towed us and charged us, but instead he helped us. Yes, we had a small, small fee and a cost of a bottle of Coke, but after that we were set to go. Thank you, Robert for helping us! Robert came to get my car to take it to get repaired. He was AMAZING! Not only was he on time, he was super friendly. Most importantly, he was so careful with my car. He had to get two boards out to make sure my car didn’t rub when it was loaded. Excellent service!!

The service was beyond expectation. The driver of the tow truck, Robert, arrived promptly ready to haul our car for repairs. Instead he took a look under the hood and fixed our problem. Very helpful and a great sense of humor.
My daughter and I got into a little accident on Sunday, 04-27. My daughter got her arm stuck in the steering wheel and panicked and instead of pushing the brake she pushed the gas. We ended up jumping a culvert and driving up a very steep embankment where her car rested. It is a miracle we didn't flip but God was watching over us. I called Hulsey because they were the closest to where we were. Robert showed up first...in what seemed no time! He looked at how the car was positioned and admitted he didn't feel comfortable with the way it was sitting on the hill. His main concern was that he didn't want to flip it. He called another driver that had more experience and he was there within 20 minutes. He jumped in and was able to back my daughter's car up enough out of the ditch and another driver, who was just was riding by and just stopped to see if he could also help, was able to back his flatbed truck up to the back of my daughter's car and pull it perfectly up on his truck. They were all great and treated all of us with kindness! If you need a wrecker service I would HIGHLY recommend Hulsey's Wrecker Service!
This was one of the most humbling experiences I have ever had. Greg came out and saved the day by getting me out of a sticky situation. He was polite, friendly, and very diligent, he made sure to be as careful as possible to not cause any further damage to my car. Called them because I locked my keys in the car while it was running. They got out here in about 10 mins from the call and had the door open in literally 30 secs. Good pricing and Professional people, Would definitely recommend them!
Hulsey's has always had an excellent reputation and that is why my friends and family have always used them. Unlike a towing company in Cornelia that starts with an "W", Hulsey's employees are kind, friendly and really helpful. They are gentle with the towing which is always a major plus. I highly recommend them, and that recommendation comes from years of my family and friends use.
