I am updating my review on this store. I have been using it for over two decades and until the past couple of years been happy. But of late I've had issues that make me suspect that the quality and service has gone downhill. First was with an issue where tires did not last but half of the treadwear life inspite of me bringing the vehicle in every 5k miles for rotation, balance, and alignment as the shop advised. When I went to replace the tires I was told that it was normal wear and tear and that I had no prorated credit. I had to fight for a manager override to get credit for a 75k tire only going 40k miles. Then I had an issue where a tire would not be patched in spite of my purchasing the road hazzard. There is a store policy that they don't patch if the tire has previously been patched within some proximity of the new puncture. They admitted other shops would do the job but they called it a safety standard. (I am not advocating if this is true or not). So I paid for a new tire. Recently I brought my vehicle in for the standard 5k rotation, balance, and alignment and was told that my tires could not be rotated because they were worn and needed to be replaced. When I asked how much tread was on them I was told 2-3 32nds. I scheduled an appointment for new tires but when I got home I took a tire tread depth gauge and checked. My reading was 4 to 6 32nds (depending on if I measured on the inside or outside). I skipped the the new tire appointment and took my car to the dealer for it's scheduled oil change. I asked the dealer to check and rotate the tires. They said I was at 5 32nds and rotated the tires. It cost me $40 at the dealer for the rotation (which should have been included at tires plus as part of the road hazzard I purchased) but at least I saved the $500 I was about to pay for the 2 new tires had I listened to the tires plus staff. I used to be an advocate of this shop but they have lost my confidence in the past few years.
This place is great! Not only did they get me right in, John the manager made sure that I got the lowest price. He also explained things so I was able to make an informed decision on what I was to have done to my car. They even stayed open a little late to get the work done. Thanks guys!
I stopped by Tire Plus for a quick inspection before hitting the road, and the entire team was awesome! Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made the process super easy. They got me in and out quickly while still being thorough and professional.

Great service…they had to order 2 tires but got them in 2 hours for me. The appointment took a little longer than I was counting on 2.5hrs instead of 1.5 hours. But they definitely had the best price, friendly staff
Really nice people, good sense of humor! Kept me informed throughout the process of getting my car fixed, despite all the trouble it put them through, and I got to walk away with a functioning car again.
Had a 3:30 PM appointment, arrived at 3:40, and after waiting nearly two hours I found out they hadn’t even started on my car. Only when I asked did they tell me they were stuck on another car because they didn’t have the right parts or sensors.
If they had told me earlier, I could’ve gone elsewhere—now my travel plans are messed up. This is unprofessional and poorly managed. What’s worse, the same staff keep asking everyone for five-star reviews. Maybe focus on communication and inventory first before asking for ratings.
My go to place for everything having to do with my car! Been coming here for years - excellent prices and technicians. Professional and never pushy with their recommendations. I get all my service done and replace all my tires here. And don’t see that ever changing.
I actually live in the city but grew up around these parts and drive all the way out this day because the quality is just unmatched!
Matt was great..Got me in and out with a new tire. Went in a couple hours before they closed and he got me taking care. He was able to squeeze me in. Just in time for my Florida trip in the morning..Thanks once again you guys are amazing..😀😀😀
John was accommodating & amusing during my visit a couple of days ago. And Kris was fast with replacing my battery and shims — which were loose that I didn’t know about and explained it to me kindly!

Brought my car in to remove a nail in 1 tire and discovered that they also do a pre-trip/pre-purchase service. Since we will be traveling this week, I went ahead and had the service done. Glad they discovered a couple of items that needed to be resolved and other items that can be addressed when we return. Great customer service!!

Came here for the 1st time after getting a promotional mail flyer for a discount oil change. I also needed 2 new back tires and the manager, John was a big help showing me all the options for me. Will definitely be back.

This is hands-down the BEST Mavis location! I was driving with air quickly leaking from a nail hole in my tire, and Erin immediately jumped into action and saved the day. I had already stopped at three other tire shops, including the other Mavis on Peachtree Parkway where I was told they couldn’t help (despite no cars being serviced). Erin’s quick service and professionalism turned a stressful situation into an easy fix. Highly recommend this location!
Had an issue with my battery that I bought 2 years ago (thank goodness for online service records) which was still under warranty. Tires plus allowed me to drop my car off and leave it overnight so they could fix it in the AM. Ended up paying only $20 for a new car battery. Big win for me!
Matt up front was very knowledgeable, helped me go through different tires options that would work with my car, and told me he would price match tires from other companies. John was really attentive, courteous, and outstanding customer service. He definitely left an impression on me. Turns out the guy's bilingual as well. I enjoy coming to this location, I normally walk in without an appointment. They tend to me no hassle. Which is more than I can say for the other locations.
Matt at Tires Plus is awesome! I came without an appointment with a battery and potential alternator problem. They got me in right away checked everything. It was a previous mistake with the battery that was put in and Matt took responsibility for the tech and ensured I got the correct battery and that I was taken care of.

We’ve brought both of our cars to Tires Plus for full sets of tires, and today I had to return unexpectedly because my son got a flat tire. Luckily, there was a great tire promotion going on, so we decided to replace more than just the one damaged tire. In the end, we purchased three tires — and it was all thanks to the help and honest guidance from Matt.
Matt went above and beyond to explain everything clearly, from the types of tires available to the price differences and ongoing discounts. He was incredibly detailed and patient, which I really appreciated — especially since I was handling this without my husband, who was out of town. As a middle-aged woman who doesn’t know much about tires, it can feel intimidating walking into a tire shop. But Matt made me feel completely at ease and confident in my decisions.
What impressed me most is that he didn’t push me into buying a full set when I didn’t need it. One of the tires on my son’s car was still in great condition, and Matt let me know we didn’t need to replace it — saving us money and showing real integrity.
On top of that, he also helped correct a separate issue I had with my car. A while ago, after an oil change, someone had entered the wrong mileage in the system — off by nearly 80,000 miles. I had reported it previously, but it hadn’t been fixed. When I mentioned it to Matt today, he immediately pulled up my account and corrected it right in front of me. No excuses, no delays — just excellent customer service.
Matt is approachable, respectful, and truly values doing things the right way. He listens, follows through, and makes sure the customer feels supported. That level of service is rare these days. In my opinion, Matt has all the qualities of a great manager, and I hope the company recognizes his potential. He brings professionalism, care, and integrity to everything he does — and that’s exactly the kind of leadership every store needs.
