Roswell has a gem. If the City Council would create a Non Roswell Resident permit they might get profitable. $50 or $100 Non Resident permits could help profitability. Are they capable of creativity?

Very helpful, someone was available to help us disassemble light fixtures to appropriately sort, provide more information about availabile services etc. was able to recycle more items than expected.

The employees in the garage were extremely kind and helpful! The manager on the other hand was extremely rude! Very hesitant to take anything back there!

I’ve been going here for years to get document shredded while I wait, within the posted 2 to 4 timeframe, four days a week,, and now they want to charge $20 to do it if I watch them? Insane. 10 people standing around but now for them to shred a single box while I wait, it costs $20. As a taxpayer, and having my Roswell ID, I think that is absurd.

My wife showed up the facility 4 minutes before closing. To specific 4:56. The facility closes at 5pm. My wife told the guy at the gate that it wasn’t 5pm. Guy at the entrance proceeds to tell my wife that “I’m closing the gate, so we are closed”. Incredibly rude and inappropriate given that it wasn’t 5pm. Imagine showing at government facility and being told you cannot do business even if it’s before closing time. Roswell do better and please reprimand whoever was on duty at the entrance today 9/28/2024.

Roswell Recycling Center is managed by the most friendly efficient staff. When I brought non recycle items, they let me know where to take them on Commerce Way. Remember, our Roswell taxes pay for this service, so get busy cleaning out your garage!

It's a great place to recycle. But the Covid-19 Pandemic is over, so they should take on full operations again and accept materials from residents and businesses outside of Roswell.

I live in Roswell and was not allowed to recycle here by the manager! I pulled up my address and showed him on a map but without a bill he refused to let me recycle because my DL wasn’t here and I told him my bills where in my partner name and was still refused to be able to recycle 5 bags of plastic bottles. Wow! No one should be refused to recycle, I was by two staff members!

This place was great, so easy to drive in and drop off. I just moved into a new house and had a bunch of cardboard boxes from unpacking and the Roswell recycling curbside pickup did not pick it up since it would not fit in my bin so I drove it here and the whole process of unloading an entire suv full of cardboard took 5 min and only because it took me 3 minutes to find my Roswell utility bill since my address hasn’t changed on my license yet. There were multiple guys here ready to help unload and they took everything out of the car for me. It was all hands on deck and not a single person working was just sitting around they all jumped in and grabbed stuff! It’s free to drop off recyclables here for Roswell residents and they take so much stuff: cardboard, paper, aluminum, metal, glass, paint etc! Great way to reduce your landfill footprint and what a pleasant experience for getting rid of junk which is usually such a painful expensive experience.

Very easy and kind workers. Lots of these reviews make me think it was the citizens who were the problem. Didn’t experience anything but professional employees. This location is for Roswell residents only - if you’re from Alpharetta and mad at the employees that they won’t take your stuff it’s because the location and rules are set for Roswell and the employee has no say in being able to take your stuff.

I was sent to the Roswell Recycling Center after attempting to unload a truck full of misc. debris at the transfer station that use to accept almost everything. Apparently, they no longer take almost everything and I was sent to the Recycling Center with my truck load of debris. Dustin and his co-workers were so patient, polite, kind and very helpful. Since I had planned on dumping everything at the transfer station my debris was not sorted. They helped me sort through a truck bed full of boxes and misc. debris and took almost everything I had. It was an excellent experience and I plan on returning next week with more debris. Of course it will be presorted this time. Thank You Again !

Not sure why so many people can’t read the website or the name of the location. They politely ask for ID every time I go. It’s weird that it’s only for Roswell residents but the staff was always very nice and helpful with unloading my recyclables

If you are unable to recycle here because of residency, try CHaRM in Atlanta. The Center for Hard to Recycle Materials. They will accommodate most things this place won't accept.

Absolutely rude!! First attempt to recycle glass bottles at this place. Use to just going up and placing in marked bins. One employee yelled at me(explained my first time here..could care less)for stopping then told to get in line, then second employee asked for ID and refused bc I was from Alpharetta! What a joke!

They need to put a sign at the Recycling Center that states they are only taking items from citizens of the City of Roswell. They refused to take my cardboard boxes that I had broken down after recycling glass bottles because I did not live in Roswell. I didnt understand why until I went to the their website when I got home. I have done recycling there in the past & it was never an issue. The guy was quite rude about it.

They ask for my ID and refused to take cardboard because I live in Alpharetta.

I am not a fan of the supervisors and managers at this facility. I have encountered many different individuals and most of them are extremely rude. I have experienced this on different many occasions. Also, there many practice and procedures that should be corrected. All individuals who come to the recycling center should be treated the same. From my experience, they are not.

Everything says "for Roswell residents." Apparently that doesn't include Roswell addresses in East Cobb. We were turned away. Zero indication on the website or signs that this is Fulton County only.

One of the best resources available to Roswell, GA residents. The Goodwill Donation Center has a trailer there right after you drive in. Then most things you want to recycle, can be dropped off. Bring along proof of Roswell residence. Check the web and/or call for limits and questions.

Extremely clean and organized and helpful, polite people. It is a jewel for Roswell residents to have this city benefit. I am using regularly.

Great recycling facility accepting nearly all recyclables. Shredding available for Roswell residents only. Goodwill drop-off at site for products to be donated.

Comprehensive recycling. Clean, orderly, sanitary, fast service. Does not have any bad odors. Handles most materials. Also Has a Goodwill station for donations. Shreds confidential papers.

If u live in Roswell recyclables taken here is free for you to drop off. Folks are always on hand to help you take things out of your vehicle. Goodwill drop off is also onsite.

Very organized, super friendly staff! It only took a minute to drop by my plastic bottles. They recycle plastic, metal, paper, cardboard... very nice!

They take: Office paper, junk mail, plastic bags, aluminum trays and pans, metal objects large and small - and they have a Goodwill donations truck parked right on site to take your reusable stuff. They also used to do yours for Cub Scouts - don't know if they still do.

Love this place and I've been going for years. Our girls have grown up recycling and when they were little, the recycling center was quite the adventure. No matter how much you have to recycle, you will be in and out in minutes. It's very organized, well labeled and plenty of helpers. They also have a Goodwill stop right in the parking lot and you can also recycle old cell phones and tvs (for a charge). Basically it's one stop for less than 5 minutes and you can take care of all your recycling/donation errands. AND believe it or not, if you have a question, a person will answer the phone without any automated maze-it's fabulous. Makes you want to call just to hear a person's voice ;)
