Crabapple Automotive is my “go-to” service provider for my 2020 Toyota 4Runner as they are extremely well qualified and experienced in servicing Toyota and numerous other car manufacturers. They won’t recommend services that aren’t needed at the time of your visit but will make you aware of future service needs and regular maintenance schedules. I recently damaged my passenger side mirror and had concerns about taking it back to the dealer. CA was able to source an OEM mirror for me and professionally install it for what I considered to be a reasonable price. I use them for all of my scheduled maintenance and recently purchased a set of 4 Michelin tires there as well. Finding an automotive repair shop that knows your vehicle and will perform quality work at a reasonable price is important and provides peace of mind. Crabapple Automotive is an honest and professional business, the kind you’ll want to keep coming back to.

Front desk manager, Katie was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Technicians always give you a truthful diagnosis. I would highly recommend Crabapple Automotive.

My truck died and the guys at CA were awesome. Got be back on the road in a couple of hours, reasonable price and a concerned attitude that I was taken care of.

We’ve been using Crabapple Auto for years and have referred many friends and family there, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. My dad brought in our Infiniti truck because it had a check engine light and wouldn’t shift into third gear. We were told the issue was a speed sensor and paid $1,400 to have it fixed. After the repair, we were told that wasn’t actually the problem. They then told us the transmission was shot and quoted $10,000 to replace it with a used rebuilt transmission. Before spending that kind of money, we decided to get a second opinion from a transmission shop in Woodstock. They confirmed the transmission was not shot and only needed a valve replacement, which cost a fraction of the $10,000 we were quoted. They also told us it wasn’t good practice to charge for a repair that didn’t address the actual issue. After I left a review, the owner reached out and offered to refund $600 of the $1,400. I’m giving 2 stars because they were willing to do that, and I do appreciate the gesture. However, the original $1,400 repair didn’t fix anything, and if the full amount had been refunded, I would feel more comfortable calling this an honest mistake rather than a costly misdiagnosis. We’re fortunate we questioned it and got a second opinion, but this experience has definitely changed how we feel about bringing our vehicles here.

There are few automotive repair shops that can be trusted,,,this is one that can be trusted. Great service without the ripoff factor!

I was happy with the work they did on my old Hyundai. It's got 179,000 miles on it and it's only worth probably $2,500, and just needed it to keep going. They were able to fix the issues I had and make a few other repairs. It's definitely sounding and running better. And I expect to be going back for more Auto service in the future.

Crabapple Automotive is such a high quality, honest business which often can be hard to find. So greatly appreciate their great customer service, reliability and willingness to quickly solve any issues that are presented. They are awesome to work with and look forward to returning in the future when needed!

So for about the 50th time Crabapple has taken care of me and my family as they have done for the past 15+ years. Kaytee, Grey and Melissa are just the best!! All around great customer service, skilled mechanics, fair and reasonable pricing. They have pretty much rebuilt my vehicle for me and because of them it will last me another ten years. I can’t say thank you enough. From oil changes to engine and transmission replacement they do it all!

I was very impressed with the professionalism shown to everyone at the repair shop. I happen to be sitting and waiting for my car to have an oil change, and I saw many customers come and go and everyone was treated with respect. I would definitely recommend the shop!

I am always impressed with this organization. I have initially connected with the mechanic and his daughter, but I also have managed to get to know the other mechanics at this facility and they are top notch. This facility has a great team of individuals that deliver great service, customer communication and excellent maintenance skill sets necessary to identify, quote and finally complete the work necessary to get you back on the road. They are exceptionally busy but they always seem to come to the rescue for me every time. I hope that anyone reading this can appreciate this service. liars and cheats. they wouldnt honor warranty after i reported to them the rebuilt transmission they installed a week before wasnt shifting correctly. the problem was intermittent so they told me that i should wait to bring it in when the problem came back . i brought it back and they told me they wouldn't warranty it because the their transmission supplier said they werent notified within the warranty period gave them another chance to do right by me but they wouldnt address the problem. i finally agreed to buy a used transmission if they would put it in free of charge. picked it up when it was completed but it was malfunctioning the very next day. wouldnt go into gear and when it did it was slipping and wouldnt go into reverse. i also had them replace the rt front hub. i took to alignment shop because there was a sound coming front the rt ft.suspension. mechanic told me that the rt ft hub wasnt installed properly and the lug nuts weren't tightened. the transmision wasnt filled with fluid. i called Katie at crabapple to tell her that the work done by here mechanic was unsatisfactory. she ignored me. i do not recommend this shop. run away as fast as you can. i spent over $5000 with this shop and my truck is in worse shape than when i brought it in to be repaired. unprofessional! cost me money that i dont have as i am a service connected disabled veteran with a fixed income. thanks a lot for nothing .

First time customer. Needed an alignment after new shocks installed, made an appointment and was amazed how fast it was. Super friendly staff. Clearly hard workers. I will be back!

This not a corporate repair shop with quotas to meet, and owners who only care about profitability. Crabapple Automotive is owned and run by your neighbors. They live in the area they service. They come to work every day, and want to do the right thing by their clients, knowing that THAT is the way to build a business people will flock to. They have food drives (with a discount off your bill if you contribute - WIN-WIN-WIN!), they are friendly, they are responsive. GIVE THEM A TRY -- and come back here to share your review!

Another oil change by these great people and again everything back in place with no mess. I bought tires online and had them installed. No rim scratches or issues. Perfect work. Hard to come by these days!!

Had a check engine light come on, but was able to schedule a drop off at Crabapple on timely basis. They reviewed the issue and got back to me with the details and an estimate. Although it took a couple of days to get the parts, they performed the necessary repairs and got me back on the road with a smooth-running car. Very reliable. Also appreciate their support for local food bank and Toys for Tots.

I have been going to this shop for the past several years. I cannot say enough of how friendly and professional they are. Today, while getting my emissions done, they went to turn my vehicle on and there was an issue with the battery. It started to overheat and smoke. Luckily their techs knew exactly what to do and addressed the problem right there. Within an hour I had a new battery and was on my way. If you are looking for a reliable and honest business to bring your vehicle to, this is the place.

Tiffany took the time to listen to my concerns, she asked questions, she was patient and made the effort to help me (I was stressed and frantic). The gentlemen that worked on my car were outstanding. I regret not getting both names. One of the techs name was Kyle, I believe. They also took the time to hear why I was there. They understood my concerns with costs (I am a single mom of two) and time restraints. They gave me a full picture on all my repair options AND they set expectations with me. This is somewhere you can bring your vehicle and trust you are not being taken advantage of or nickel and dimed. They gained a lifelong customer. Amazing from start to finish.
