Absolutely horrible customer service. Jessica at the front office was extremely rude and unprofessional. All I asked for was an explanation, and instead of providing a clear answer, she was dismissive and disrespectful. Thankfully, the driver, Jimmy, took the time to explain the situation and was polite and helpful — which is all I was asking for in the first place. Because of Jessica’s behavior, you’ve lost our business.

Apartment wrongfully took my car to no fault of this business. Every time I called they were professional and efficient—told me everything I needed and got me in and out of there extremely quickly. If you treat them with respect, they’ll do the same for you.
I have been in the automotive business since the early 90’s first as a technician and in recent decades as a service manager. KO Towing is the most responsive and professional towing service I have ever dealt with hands down. I have always kept my expectations as low as possible when dealing with towing companies. It’s a tough business to be in and not everyone handles it well.
We’ve been using them for our shop for the last 6 months and I won’t use anyone else. They always answer the phone. They show up when they say they’re going to. They do the job without drama or surprises. They don’t tear anything up. Their drivers are polite and professional and don’t disrupt our front office. They get it done efficiently and professionally. A+++
Nice. Fast. Showed up when they estimated. Reasonable pricing. They also have an impounding service, so some of these bad reviews are from people mad at their own circumstances.
I am so sorry! Eight years ago, I accidentally left a 1-star review for this business that I have never interacted with and just discovered my mistake today. The business had a very professional response to the 1-star review. I am changing my review to 5-stars and will delete the review in another 8 years.
This is the worst towing company I have ever experienced. I called 5 days in advance to schedule a tow from the dealership!!! Well, the day of the tow, nobody called to confirm time and location. I had a set time for pickup and delivery, ( i was waiting for 2 and half hours and nobody from this tow company reached out to me with a update)I had to call them and the dispatcher told me pickup time will be in 30 minutes and the tow truck driver will call me. Lol, the driver call me 30 mins later that speaks very little English and gave me a eta for 2 hours. Now, I have been waiting since 1pm for a tow I scheduled 5 days in advance!!!! Please stay away from mom and pop businesses ( read between the lines)
How an organization handles a mistake reveals a lot about the business and its leadership. K O made a mistake handling my car but set the standard very high for subsequently making things right. Here is how Ian at K O handled his driver's mistake and provided exceptional customer support:
Prior to hooking up my car to tow it from home to a dealership for service, a K O driver attempted to jump start it. Unsuccessful, he finished loading it on his flatbed and then delivered it to the dealership. While diagnosing an electrical fault, a dealership mechanic determined the jump start connection was performed incorrectly and fried a main circuit in my 2022 car (essentially 100+ computers with wheels.) The dealership had to replace the main CB. Including parts and labor the charge was nearly $650. When the dealership told me what happened, they insisted they didn't cause the damage. I contacted K O and Ian indicated his driver claimed not to have caused damage. Video captured from the dealership service ramp told the real story. The K O driver had connected the jump box incorrectly, despite insisting he did not.
Ian confirmed what happened by driving to the dealership to view the video in person. He immediately called me, apologized, and put a check in the mail to cover 100% parts and labor for the repair.
Instead of a lot of denials, finger pointing, and obfuscation, I got professional, courteous resolution. We all make mistakes on the job. How you react and make it right separates the pros from the scammers. K O is run by pros and their number is in my contacts for the next time I need a tow.
Open from 9-5 so good luck getting your car if you have a job. Also they only accept cash. In 2024. They could tell you this piece of information one of the two times you speak to them over the phone, but they won’t. They like to wait until you’re there in person to tell you so then you get to run to the bank while you’re already late for work.
This towing company is unreliable. They made me wait 2 hours for a driver but, the driver never showed up! K O Towing's employees are incompetent and lack customer service skills! Don't choose this company if you need a tow.
In property management you need a reliable and professional service! KO towing is providing such. Also, if they cannot deliver a service, they let you know! That’s what counts! Honesty and integrity!
They were recommended by the BMW dealership to bring my car in, after rim damage. Their hook-up fee of $125 is gouging in my opinion. More importantly they were uncaring, disrespectful, unprofession, and rude to the point I chose to leave my vehicle abandoned where it was until I could sign up for AAA, and have them tow the car. I could not and would not recommend them at all.
Never Use this company. I am disabled and my car was towed illegally as I was parked in an open spot that was wide open. I am disabled due to a very serious Traumatic Brain Injury and was headed to a doctors appointment and completely missed a very important visit that was set for months. To make matters worse my seizure prevention medicine that I use daily to prevent serious seizures was in my car so I suffered a seizure event due to the illegal towing that took place and the staff could have cared less. Another thing that should earn them ZERO stars if I could select that rating is due to the fact that they only take cash...who carries $200 cash around with them....nobody!!!! Run as fast as you can from this AWFUL company. They are only about ripping people off and $200 is just plain ridiculous. The staff has zero compassion for people that suffer from disabilities and have very limited funds due to not being able to work. I expect a call from Ray Tew to discuss getting my $200 refunded immediately...the staff has my number. RUN AND NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! WORST EVER
Literally stole my vehicle. A random person that i was having issues with at my Apartment complex called them to have a car of mine towed away. No vetting process. And when i called to ask for information back, they said i would have to pay for the car they stole. Then hung up in my face. Never trust this company.
I agree with a previous comment: RECORD ALL CONVERSATIONS from the initial phone call to pick up. This company has some extremely unethical practices. I went to pick up my car after it had been towed at my apartment complex for an expired tag (my fault and I take ownership of that). I went during normal business hours and they refused to give me my car because it was “auction day”. No where on their website did it say anything about this and when I called previously saying that I was coming to get it, they did not share that information either.
Also, when I was there. The owner or manager was EXTEMELY RUDE. Even one of their own workers said “yeah, that guy is an a**hole”. He yelled at me and refused to make things right. There are some extremely sketchy business practices happening here.

BEWARE!!! These guys will prey on your misfortunes. I was assigned to these guys through my insurance provider after I broke down on the 5 Freeway. My Insurance provider told me that KO would arrive between 60-90 minutes and that I had to pay a differential because I exceeded the mileage on my policy. I agreed to pay and then proceeded to wait for tow to get to me. After about 30 minutes, I got a call from Leo from KO telling me that if I did not pay them directly (He started off at $450 and lowered to $300), they were not going to pick me up, because "I was outside the service area". I let him know that I was going to call my insurance provider to see why he was charging me more money and he told me that my insurance provider was going to cancel the order, get me another tow company and I was going to have the same issue. Basically, he used scare tactics to get me to pay the extra money. Now... My situation was either pay and get picked up or get cancelled, continue to wait in the rain, find another tow company and be late to pick up my kids. After speaking to my insurance company, they said that what KO did was wrong and that they will "reprimand" them, but I wanted to make sure that I let everyone know that these guys will try to take advantage of you so BEWARE!!!
Nissan dispatched them and they texted saying it would be 60-90 minutes. I called 30 minutes later and they said it it would be 60 minutes, then they called after an hour and told me they just got the order and it would be 90 minutes. I told him I knew he was lying since I spoke to them over 30 minutes prior and they had the order, the guy on the phone panicked when he was caught in a lie and canceled the order and left me stranded on the 405.
They were so helpful! After having another company cancel my emergency service with no communication, KO called me to let me know they were already on their way and offered an accurate ETA. They changed my tire very quickly, and answered all my questions regarding a replacement. I absolutely recommend their service for all roadside assistance! My drivers name was Ronnie!

Yeah they might be doing “their job”, but when I show up with the cash, and proper paperwork and they still won’t give me my car, something is wrong. Not friendly, not helpful, not understanding, nothing. These people are like robots and could care less. I would advise to stay away from if possible. *UPDATE* In response to the owner, I did have the proper proof of ownership, you all are just crooks and extremely rude.
I had a car in a tight parking deck, and needed to tow it fairly far. I called three other places in the area, and all the answers I received were rude and turned me down. KO Towing was polite, and worked with my schedule to have the car towed the next day. They had had no problem doing what the other companies said they couldn't. The driver was a true professional, and also polite. I would recommend them to anyone in their area.
We needed a tow bad my brother's insurance co towing service is trash. He had been waiting since 8:45pm for service. The police pulled behind and advised him to move his car or they will tow it for him. His insurance tow said ETA is 10:05 the cops said 10:10 pm. No word from the tow its 10:10pm finally dispatch answers and says the tow is still 40 min out. Brother was furious. I called K O towing they say 35 min I got you. We explain the situation dude says no problem I got you 35min... and I kidd you not they got to us in 10 min saved the freaking night! I appreciate a company that understands urgency. THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES OVER! I Definitely recommend K O Services!
I work for an apartment community and we have had problems with this company in the past but I believe they got new management recently and the customer service has been amazing. Greg does a great job, he’s very professional, kind, and communicative. Thanks KO for making our jobs easier!
This company is amazing!! The gentleman I spoke with was professional, kind and considerate. I am from out of state and had run out of gas on the I75S He could so easily have taken advantage of the situation but instead informed me of a service that would get me help quickly and free!! Called for a tow on 12/7/17. Took them two hours to show up. I kept calling them asking where the truck was, and they kept assuring me he was close. Finally got the driver himself to call me after I specifically requested it.
I understand things can happen to make you delayed, but I shouldn't have had to keep calling the call center to try to get answers, and more than that they shouldn't have misled me about the drivers ETA. Simply poor performance and professionalism.
This company is great. The tire on my truck blew completely off and had me stuck. When Eddie arrived he was very polite and friendly. He helped me in the truck and even took me to two different places when the first car repair shop we went to was trying to charge too much. To make things better they didn't charge me for the second trip as a one time courtesy. Kent the manager was friendly and gave as much assistance as he could to providing us with a repair shop to go to. A wonderful experience.
My car was stuck in a parking deck and the number of towing companies capable of retrieving the car were slim. Luckily, I came across K O Towing and they were able to assist without issue. And to top it off, they did not charge me an extra $50-$75 that the other companies wanted to charge. They kept me informed as to when they would arrive, and the service was the best that I could ask for. Thank you very much!!!
These guys are awesome! I got a flat tire one late night and once I called them, I hardly had to wait. They did everything super fast and were very friendly. They ended up driving me to the nearest tire repair store. What surprised me the most is that they actually waited until my tire was fixed. They could have just left my friend and I there but with the area we were in at that time of night, I am so glad he waited! I would recommend using this company to anyone!!! Thank You!!
